shouldn't there have been limitations set into place to stop such actions again?

From what I have heard, from postings by Blackbird, EuroSoviets, and Xha'dum on The Pacific's forum, the act of destroying a forum is not against RLA rules, though TRF should have asked Blackbird for permission first.

At this time, Unistrut and others are organizing a conference, to be hosted on The Meritocracy's forum, to discuss this sort of behavior, among other similar things, and hopefully reach an agreement on what really constitutes "going-too-far," or so I have gathered from his postings on numerous forums about the subject.

As for the act itself, it deeply troubles me. I'm actually quite angry over it. I have quit NS itself in the recent past, a decision which I have not regretted. I have, however, been unable to quit the various communities that I became a part of while playing it, as evidenced by my presence here now. The loss of any community is a terrible thing. This happens to hit close to home for me, as I am a retired member of the Invaders Army.
