UN Delegate of Great Britain and Ireland

Greetings, I am r3naissanc3r, the Home Secretary and UN Delegate of Great Britain and Ireland. I firstly ran into your region when touring the forums of Global Right Alliance (I am my region's Ambassador there). There, I found an interesting post about an Ambassadorial Protocol. In this text, there was also a link to this forum. So, I followed the link and came here. I read all the archive of the conferenve you held to discuss on this Protocol. I have to admit that the debates in this conference had been very constructive. And, of course, this is reflected in the result, the Protocol itself. So, I am here to ask for copyrights to use this Ambassadorial Protocol in my region. I am aware of the fact that you wrote this protocol so that it is (hopefully) adopted by all the regions in NS, but I still don't think it would be right to take it in GB&I without asking. I hope that this will be the beginning for a closer relation between our two regions. A link to GB&I's forums, feel free to come there: http://s6.invisionfree.com/great_britain_region Regards, r3naissanc3r. PS: I apologise for not registering with my main nation's name, but I register in all the NS-related forums using the name "r3naissanc3r", for RP reasons. My main nation is "Renaissancistic People" and is placed in the region "The Falkland Islands", a Dominion of Great Britain and Ireland. If this is very disturbing, then feel free to change my account name, I will have no problem (of course). |

Welcome to Q102. We hope to develop friendly relations with your region. I have heard of you guys and watched your development from beginnings to the region you have today. Good work there btw
:) The Protocol is an open document written by several regions together. It is free to all regions to use if they wish. All we ask is that the Protocol itself be reproduced in full with the full name and the list of contributors :) Oh and I think the name is close enough and the description valid enough to not be a problem. Just send a TG from your named nation to mine to confirm when you have a moment! |

Thank you very much, Nevareion, for the welcome
:) . Well, your forum is great, too. Especially this adverts service, it is splendid. And, the post numbers speaks itself for the activity of the forum. I ensure you that we will not change either the title or the text itself of the Protocol. And, of course, the list of the contributors will be definitely included. And, be sure to check your TG box these days ;) . |

well iam glad you like the place. but as a nation of Q102 i still must welcome you to the forum, one of the best things is that you do not need to be a member of the region to join in the forum, so stick around if you like |

Hello and welcome to q102. Its not very often a nation is so informative about themselves this early on, so thankyou for the lovely introduction. As Nev covered the name and the rights to the protocol I have nothing else formally to add, except that I hope that the protocol will be as successful with you as it has been for us. We are still adapting our behviour in some areas in my opinion, but on the whole, it helped clarify a great many things. Feel free to keep browsing the forums and please do continue to stop by, your region seems a fine one and I too look forward to closer ties between Q102 and GB&I |

Heh, it was just the basics. I always believed that a warm introduction (as well as a correspondingly warm welcome ;) ) are the foundations for building a closer relation. |

Thank you all very much! Well, you can find most of the things considering GB&I in our NSwiki entry. The link is here: http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/GB%26I In general, we are a democratic British region. Our political system is similar to the British one. There is the Parliament, which consists of the House of Commons and the House of Lords and holds the Legislature. There is the Prime Minister, who is the Member of Parliament that can control a majority in the Commons. The Prime Minister appoints his Cabinet (I am member of the Cabinet, as the Home Secretary) and the Cabinet holds the executive power. Our founder and admin is also our Monarch. He is granted almost only ceremonial powers, although he can veto the laws the Parliament passes (he has never done so). Finally, for the Judiciary, there is the High Court for all the cases, while the House of Lords of the Parliament is responsible for handling the appeals. While we are a British region, members from all nationalities are (of course) welcome. Personally, I am Greek, while we also have Americans, Brazilians, Italians, Canadians and Irish people. There are other nationalities, too, but these are the ones of most of our active people. As for myself, well as I have already told you, I am Greek. I am 19 years old and I am a University Student (Electrical and Computer Engineering). Apart from Greek and English, I also speak French and a bit of German. I have been playing NS since June 2005 and The Falkland Islands (GB&I's Dominion) has been the first and only region I ever joined (except for the Pacifics, of course). In GB&I I have been a Member of the Parliament since September 2005. I have also been the Minister of Immigration from July 2005 to November 2005 and the Home Secretary since November 2005. I am also the UN Delegate of GB&I with my puppet nation, British Renaissance. You can find more about myself in my personal NSwiki entry, here: http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/User:R3naissanc3r I hope I have been informative ;) . |

Και πώς και έγινε να έχεις μείνει Ελλάδα και να ξέρεις και Ελληνικά; Έλληνας; Έλληνες γονείς αλλά γεννημένος σε άλλη χώρα (οπότε και πάλι ελληνικές ρίζες); So, it is a bit rude to speak Greek when other people cannot even understand a word. "It sounds Greek to me", as the known quotation says ;) . |

Lol, since I'm at work and this PC has no Greek installed I'll have to reply in English anyway
:D Thessaloniki is just one of the best cities in Europe for me. I had a flat right in the centre. Was great. I went there after I finished uni as I thought it was better than getting a job ;) anyway, I learnt Greek when I got there (lessons and just living there) and got a job when my money ran out :D I only left because I met a Belgian woman there and she left - otherwise I'd still be there now. |
