I see that your last update was Avenging Angels's announcement that he was retiring as our founder. Thus, it seems that you need a bit of an update. Avenging Angels appointed Avolon as our new founder. Avolon has taken over the Avenging Angels account to manage the region. AA now uses his puppet, Dead Angels, and requests to be referred to hence forth as Josh. He has since left The Exodus to travel the world, so he may wander into Q102 sooner or later. The Exodus suffered from a few months of relative inactivity. Our population dropped from over two-hundred and is now in the eighties. Several more of our very active members left, including our Secretary of State, Via Bestiae, and one of our Senators, Washinson. Forum activity dropped to almost nothing. The Senate stopped in the middle of debating a bill. The only thing that maintained its level of activity was our chat room. However, a dozen or so nations have taken it upon themselves to rejuvenate The Exodus. The Bear Empire has been designing a new map for our region. If you haven't noticed, we've been making contact with all of our old allies and making sure that we have embassies and ambassadors there. My Rael has mainly been organizing this effort. Senorak Valley organized Weekend Recruitment Sessions to increase our numbers. There has also been talk of mixing things up in our government and reorganizing our off-site forum. We are also currently holding Senate elections. If you have other suggestions, please let me know. I've noticed people on your forums talking about increasing activity as well, so I hope that we can share ideas. I very much like your "Last Man Standing" game, and I think it would be a good idea to advertise it more, especially to new nations and in regions where you have ambassadors. I think that other games and events that don't require forum activity are also a good idea. For instance, every now and then, our allies advertise various festivals on our RMB. I think that organizing such an event would stir up activity in our regions. Well, that's it for now. I'll try to keep the updates coming about once per week. Oh, and can I be made a moderator my embassy? |

Thanks. Good luck with the rebuild, sounds like everything is going well
;) Joint activities sound good, do you have any suggestions that we could do between us? Oh and we probably don't have an ambassador for you right now....lack of personnel ;) |

Hiya and thanks for a great update! Like nev said good luck, I am glad its not just us experiencing problems of inactivity. anyways seeing as I am in charge of the ambassadors I guess I had better kick my own butt and get one sorted to you. I plan to re-organise them anyway in the coming day to take into account the lack of personell so I will make sure you have a active ambassador. I think right now it may be Peachydom as it was him who debated our alliance with you, so I shall ask him to visit you guys. I would also be interested in joint activites, what did you have in mind? |

Well, I've been trying to get the folks over in The Exodus to send an ambassador your way, but things are a bit hectic, so for the moment, I'll have to do. The reorganization is progressing, still. Recent steps have been taken to hold elections for all offices, in an attempt to get some new blood into the government, as well as get some more activity going. It appears that the player behind The Avenging Angels is returning to the region, and is seeking a position in the new government. The nation remains in the capable hands of Avolon. Several new shops have opened on the forum, including a new dance club. Though their locations seem to change daily, as our admins tinker with the order of things. I think that's about it. I'm still just a retired forum-dweller, so I'm a bit out of the loop on any in-NS goings-on. Hopefully we can get you guys a more active ambassador after the new government is formed. |

The Exodus is up to about 90 nations now. We are re-electing all governmental positions in the hopes of getting the government active once more. I am planning on running for Minister of Internal Affairs. I have propsoed the following bill in the senate:
We have a new club called The Bang Bang Bar: http://s4.invisionfree.com/TheExodus/index.php?showforum=113 Blaze, a unique night club is a new edition to Southern Comfort our regiosn first restaurant. :) The Exodus seems to be getting some new life into it, and things are looking up once again. :) |

It might be an idea we could look at when we start to review our residency/office holding restrictions. |

Can I ask what has lead you to take such drastic action? as although I am aware you have had problems, thats quite a damandin policy if you dont mind me saying. I understand why you are looking to enforce it, afterall, everyone wants to try to safe guard their region, but do you think it will help or hinder The Exodus in the long run? |
