Well, after being appointed to the job I will now outline what I plan to do as (whats am I lol) Minster of Immigration and Officials....that will be sorted to Minster of I&O be thinks lol...anyways....


Immigration

Right...first of all, I will reorganise the recruiting I think. I will put forward a proposal to increase the number of recruitment TG's to be sent ech week by a minister. I also plan to PM each minister explaining to those new(do we have any new..except me lol) what needs to be done for recruiting.
I will also look at some new recruitment texts, hopefully the region as a whole can oput suggeastions forward for entire texts, and then we can vote on the ones we like. I think diversity is the key with recruitment as we need a mixture of fun and seriousness in our messages.

I also hope to out together(if I am allowed) a team of normal citizens who will also be resposible for recruiting for the region. I want to continue the hard work set out and get this region up with the highest in this game(where it belongs!)
Furthermore, I will also work closely with the Internal affairs minster along with our humble First Councillor to ensure that those joining become active wherever possible, leading to a active and fruitful region!

Officals
This area of my job concentrates upon ambassadors and what they are doing. I will be enforcing all the decisions made by the ambassador conference. I will also be sending each ambassador a PM explaing what they need to do, so everyone has a personal copy.
I plan to re-assign ambassadors depending upon new embassies, whos active etc. I know there are others who wish to become a ambassador, my aim is to try and give everyone the opportunity.
I am going to work along side the foreign affairs minster to ensure the weekly update is delivered, and that we know that it has been delivered.

Where possible I am also hoping to have 'deputy ambassadors.' These posutions will go to new nations wanting to become ambassadors. After the conferenece there will be more guidelines which all must follow, so I think people should first spend some time getting used to what must be done beofre running their own embassy. Aswell as getting the chance to learn what needs doing, these deputy ambassadors will also take over running embassies when the main ambassador is on holiday, or inactive for a short period. This therefore ensuring our embassies are always covered.
I also hope to enforce a time limit on inactrive ambassadors. As with the ministers, if a ambassador is inactive for 'X' amount of time they will be replaced, however this is subject to approval.

I hope this helps people understand what I plan to do with my time here :)

I can indeed, however I must stress this is in the earliest stages and I am not sure its even going to happen yet.

My idea is to have a team of volunteers. I was thinking just normal citizens (therefore giving them somethng to do whilst getting to know the place). I hope(d) to have a group of about 5 people who would be responsible for helping the coucillors (and eventually the ministers) to recruit. Ideally I would like to ask them to send 10 TG's a week, using the same proticol as the coucillors do (posting when they are recruiting etc).

I would actually really like some public opinion on this, what do people think? would anyone be willing to volunteer should this ever go through? or it is just a hassle?

quite frankly im up for anything, and it sounds good

though does sound a little bit like you are giving people a title so you can make more people recruit, because there is no law forcing citizen to recruit, but it sounds like a good idea

2. no one would get a 'title' as such, they would just be part of the 'recruitment team'

Like I said, I am unsure, and its early stages, with councillors and ministers all recruiting this may not be needed...we'll see..bt thanks though

i think i could handle some TG, but i think these people should egt a title like:

PFABQ102 (people of a better Q102)
LMRT (lean mean recrutment team)
ZTOPRO (Zak's team of pet recrutments officers)
GETTEM (Go Getters Entering Telegrams To Encouraging Membership)

I like the last one the most and i know there is not 2 g i had a had time fitting it in

So then we have two people who are willing to recruit. I would really need more people for ths to work. As I have said though, nothing is final yet.

(however if you guys want to just recruit for the good of q102...well...Iwont stop you! you know where to find the recruitment texts lol! help yself :P )

We were thinking about an incentive scheme, like buttons to put in your signature for x number of recruitment tgs that could be traded in for stuff, like a colony on the map or other things (suggestions welcome). What do you think of that kind of idea?

I think thats a great idea! however we would need to look into this more, with definate rewards in place. However it would also need to be fairly easy to maintain aswell, so it can be easily ran
