You'll run into it most anywhere there, but it is the official first lanquage in Quebec. So I understand at least. |

Yeah, we officially have 2 national languages: English and French. French classes are mandatory in most provinces and territories in elementary and middle school. After that, most people drop it. I took French to Grade 12, but that was 8 years ago. Now I know almost no French. Mind you, I live a long, long way from Quebec! |

My Spanish is still quite good, Latin, eh, haven't tried it since my freshman year of college, and my Russian was good enough to get me around Moscow 4 years ago... |

My fanatical pursuit of the English language has left little room in my head for any other. Curses. I MUST learn another language. I was actually thinking latin, since that would assist my studies in English... |

french would help too though! 90,000 french words in English! hehe i only know french and english, a small bit of russian, italian, and welsh. not really very helpful.... |
