well it has been a bit, and i will update ya'll on whats been going on. there is a bit of a cat fight going on about diplomatic relations, http://s3.invisionfree.com/EuroIslanders/i...topic=1116&st=0 it is 4 pages long now so i will tell it to you the jist. some members of new Sparrow has joined the league and they seem, to some long standing members like they are trying to make a big fuss about something small, or they are trying to point out a flaw...many are still trying to figure out what their perpuse is...time will tell. Cuba will be joining on the 29th...most likely so our elections will be stalled untill after that...to be fair ofcouse. we all at the League are happy. thats about all of it, oh, yours truely is running for the Euthynai Committee and Diplomatic Supervisions Committee, i hope it get the DSC, but alot of people are running for it but one can drean can they |

Thanks Calm Minds. Is there a bit of a history then between New Sparrow and the ASE or am I right that it has more to do with the North Pacific situation? |

well its a long story with many twists and turns....and half that i dont get at all. some has to do with TNP situation, some with were suporters live, a little political differences, and the last part is that Greece has a treaty with them. The ASE and RLA both think of New Sparrow as an undemacratic region, so in that they want little to do with them, so they dont start off of good terms as it is, but after TNP changed hands there was questions on if that government was ligit, so the ASE under internal and exturnal pressure closed that embassy and gave a new embassy, or something like it, to the NPD (north pacific Directorit(sp?)). now TNP doesn't think the NPD is the real government and since New Sparrow are their Ally this was the final straw and NS closed their embassy in the ASE. there is alot more but most is behind closed doors...and i donot want to say anything mre becuase i might give out wrong info and that is never good. a memeber of NS has a nation in greece and wanted to make sure that greece would keep their treaty with them, but most seems to be settled now...i hope |

yes and no, there is still alot of friction between these two groups of people, manly on the issus of if this person should be in the delian league, for he is also our ambassitor from new sparrow, and Moldavi was just elected as a Senator in the Meritocracy, so should he also be aloud to vote in the upcoming elections...or for that mater run for commities. but in time this will be sorted out. i am writing up a motion to bar members to vote in an election in the first 7 days of moving into our region, because all voting taking place is help within one week, i hope this help everyone sort things out but dont worry, problems like this were forseen and will not hamper our forword motion |
