This guy is meant to be an uber-villain with underlings. Think Dr. Doom or Darkseid kinda feel. Let me know what you think for a villain for you all to use. Name: Jedis Mycea (NPC) Birth Date: Though he appears in his mid 40's, Jedis is much older, placing his birthdate close to the beginning of the 20th century. Physical Description: Jedis is never seen not wearing anything less than the finest clothing. His great wealth demonstrates it. He is 5'9 and has a medium build, weighing only 160 lbs. He has dark skin and olive colored eyes, dark, smoothed hair, showing his greek heritage. He is usually seen wearing a watch on his left wrist, covered in diamonds. He likes dark colored clothing, usually black but occasionally wears dark grays. Job: Jedis is the CEO of the Proteon Corporation, a bio-tech firm based in Greece but with offices all around the world. Equipment: Due to his vast wealth, Jedis has near limitless access to whatever equipment he could require. This ranges from mundane materials to more exotic technology and artifacts of power. Powers: Despite his normal size, Jedis can lift over 100 tons over his head with little to no effort. Disease and the aging process have been effectively halted in his body. His skin is so dense it can withstand the highest extremes in heat and cold as well as making him all but immune to the elements. He is bulletproof and can take a tankshell at point blank range without flinching. He possesses vast regenerative qualities, able to heal in a matter of seconds from normal injuries and minutes from damage which would outright kill anyone else. Skills: Jedis has an extensive list of skills, too numerous to list. It is safe to assume that he can do almost anything. Here is a sample of the major skills he knows and can do: Genetics - has a PhD and could rewrite the textbooks on the subject with what he knows. Electrical Engineering - Same as above. Jedis can create almost any technological marvel that comes to mind. Physics - Same as above. Jedis has a deep understanding of physics and can at times bend such laws. Psychology - Can read any person as if he were psychic. Ancient History - Has extensively studied war and business as well as science throughout history. Medical and Surgical Knowledge - Knows every in and out of the human body and could kill with a single touch if he wished. Combat - Has high levels of martial arts training in various styles. Business - Knows how to conduct multi0billion dollar deals without breaking a sweat. Tactics - This goes hand in hand with his business and history. He can subversively do whatever he wants and leaves his foes bewildered. Torture - He knows how to hurt...painfully and badly. Intimidation - See all of the above and anyone would be scared to stare him in the eyes. Illicit Contacts - Jedis knows many people in the criminal underworld, as well as his own list of personal assassins. Personality: Jedis Mycea is a man with vast intelligence, equally matched by his ruthlessness and cold-hearted nature. He does not hesitate in making any decision. Jedis is cruel to an extreme. He believes that no problem is beyond him, making him justifiably arrogant. Jedis sees the world as an artist's easel and he is the artist, while all others are merely his paint with which to do as he pleases. Past: Jedis has purposely kept his past a secret. What little is known about him is public knowledge. Jedis possesses several PhDs in genetics, physics, psychology, electronic engineering as well as history. He holds patents on many technologies in all fields. Jedis spreads his wealth around, donating money to various organizations. What is not publicly known would frighten anyone. Jedis maintains his own private military, which he uses to destroy his rivals. He is involved in arms deals: guns, bio-weaponry, chemical, etc. About fifty years ago, during a "hostile" takeover of a Japanese business rival, he came across an old text detailing long-lost medical and scientific secrets. Strange symbols covered the pages, not relating to any known language. Somehow, the text had spoken to Jedis and told him its secrets, allowing him to read the text without any problems. Using these techniques, Jedis has used knowledge millennia old to turn himself into a veritable god, giving himself eternal youth and virtual immortality. Seeking to further his knowledge, Jedis had embarked on a quest to uncover the source of the text, working out that it was only a smaller piece of a larger work. ...but there are rumors floating around that Jedis has a son which he never speaks of. I like what you're going for, but those two things there need to be mentioned in powers and skills respectively. Also, while the standards are loose for NPCs, you still need to put some kind of limit to his strength and durability; even if it's only suggested, like he's been documented as having won a prolonged physical battle with Tobor without any visible harm. NPCs get more or less a blank check because they have to compete with the PCs and usually end up having to fight several PCs at a time, but even so... I like him. I like that we have another Overlord type for consideration. We've got parallels for Magneto (John McKnight), Ra's al'Ghoul (The Mirror), and Lex Luthor (Evan Nicholi), but not really a Doctor Doom type. I need to let J have a look at this first (our protocol for the first few characters made by new members is to have more than one admin look it over before approval) but I think he's pretty good aside from the problems I mentioned there. |

I don't see any problems besides what Batguy has mentioned myself. If you'd like some ideas of how that many skills in on area are normally listed you can check here or if you just want an idea of how lots of different skills are usually listed you can check here. |

I like him. His skills could have been listed differently but I don't really care. It'll be good to have a Dr. Doom esq character on the site and I'm very excited to see what you do with him. |
