Jeremy moved as fast as he could between the blasts, staying on the opposite end as Mouse hoping he didn't run out of fuel before they could all find cover. He dove underneath the ship and slashed through what held the lower cannon to the ship. "Under here!" Jeremy yelled to Mouse. Legion didn't wait for his leg to grow back simply making another copy and absorbing the damaged one. He leapt to avoid another blast taking Splortch's controls and opening fire on the ship causing noticeable damage. "Legion, Copycat! Go for the turrets! They're the weak spots! Shoot them off tear them off doesn't matter I can get into the ship from there!" Savant yelled to her teammates doing everything she could to assess the ship and not get shot down in the process. Even with his speed, Mouse was not perfect, barely avoiding being sliced in two, he felt a searing pain as a laser shot across his right arm. The material of his armor, charged as it was, kept it from being burned clean off, however, he the intense burning that throbed through his arm told him he must have just lost a layer of skin or two. Destracted by the pain, his movements slowed slightly, promting him to make a retreat before another onslaught of lasers could find him. Moments later, he collapsed back against cover with the others, griting his teeth as he clutched at the wound, imediatly regretting it as the pressure fired off a new wave of burning pain, causing him to cry out. The material of his suit was glowing slightly from the heat where the metalic components had been heated. Mouse tore the sleeve off, exposing the wound, His flesh was red and blistering, appearing to be a second degree burn, however, the lring that now adorned his arm gave the inpression that the burn had penatrated all the way through so it was likely that the nerves and muscles in his arm had similarly been burned, which was why it was hurting so much. |

Garrett scrambled over the surface of the craft, trying to get close to a turret. The problem was with the evasive maneuvers he couldn't try jumping to where he needed to go, and every time he got close a turret would focus solely on him and blast him backwards. Finally he bit the bullet and started pounding on the hull, trying to break through and stop the thing from the inside. Spider, in the meantime, was a little better off. She had disabled two turrets by scrambling close in a zigzag as they tried to blast her away and then ripped the power cables free. She shouted that tactic to Garrett, hoping he'd be able to do it quicker. Splortch had to turn into a shield wall and eject Legion to safety after the power packs ran dry, and he absorbed some fire, trying to find something he could do when Avenger appeared behind the wall and told him to catapult him onto the ship as well. Splortch turned into a catapult as Avenger disappeared again, waiting for the weight to appear in the basket before firing. No sooner was Avenger airborne than Splortch was covering Mouse before a plasma bolt could blast him to pieces. Avenger soared through the air, sword drawn, hoping and praying that this worked. He landed on the hull and brought the sword down with all the force his strength and momentum could bear on the ship. The sword cleaved into the hull, and there was the hiss of pressurized atmosphere escaping as his weight draged him down the side of the hull about three feet... and then stopped. "Crap," Arthur muttered. The ship swerved suddenly, and Avenger lost his grip, falling thirty feet into one of the craters, the wind knocked out of him. He struggled to get back on his feet and summoned the sword back. "Splortch! Somebody!" He gasped. "Made an opening! Use it!" |
