This is a privately funded organization that is for the most part unknown. They work best through the shadows which is good because the things they go after usually work in the shadows. The Heroes of Horror is a very small group by most standards but that fits the members just fine, it's members are all misfits in their own right. All of the members feel a need to fight back against the things that lurk in the shadows. Most people who have met them know them to be useful in the exorcism of a demon, the eradication of vampires or werewolves and things of that ilk.
