Name: Red Fox, Adrian Crimson Birth Date: Jan 18th, 1983 Physical Description: Slightly tanned skin, short black hair, blue eyes. Physique is slender but built, that of a Olympic athlete, canines are slightly more pronounced then normal. He wears a red and black uniform. Job: Vigilante Equipment: None Powers: Due to the experiments performed on him, Fox is fundamentally connected to earth’s morphogenetic field, tapping him into the abilities of the animal kingdom. Fox can manifest specialized adaptations of animals, such as toxins, wallcrawling, constriction, echolocation, etc. He can gain the strength/speed/agility/ability of animals, but only one animal at a time. Though he gains animal adaptations, he does not change in physical appearance, only the slightest changes occur to accomplish the task, such as the hollowing of teeth for venom, or his bones becoming more flexable, but no outward physical change is ever visable. This does exclude him from animal abilities that requre a major physical change, such as actual wings for flight. Any changes will go undetected under normal observation. Skills: Animal instinct: Can sense things around him, hard to surprise, harder to sneak up on. Fight or flight: The more you get him worked up, the harder he is to take down. Personality: Fox is an animal in a human body, at least that’s how he fells about it. He is bitter about it, he cannot live a normal life, so he’s taking it out on the scum of the city. He has little compulsions about beating a crook senseless to shake some info out of him, though it’s not like he can help it, he has to hunt, it’s built into him now. Of course this feral nature also seats in him a deep psychological fear of fire, making it hard for him to work around it. Past: Fox volunteered for what he thought was a group test for a new medical drug that was was developed, unfortunately, that was a cover for a more devious test. When he began showing symptoms of some sort of disease, he returned to the facility to get a cure, only to be tested on. The drug was actually an attempt to design an artificial protogene using animal DNA as the base, and Fox was repeatedly tested on against his will. The facility was shut down via a raid by Silver Shield, though the corporation was able to cut all ties and knowledge to such activities. For Fox, though, the damage had been done, the experiments had tapped him into earth’s morphogenetic field, which caused him to adapt the abilities of animals. However, this also tapped him into the instincts of every animal. As a result, his normal life was plagues by feral instinct, predatory urges and needs. The amount was too much for him to control, and he went feral, leaving behind his life. Weeks later, he re emerged, having found some sort of balance. He uses his powers to take out criminals and their organization, fulfilling his primal need to hunt, as well as letting him vent his aggression for those who ruined his life. He sometime comes close to crossing the line, however, he has managed to keep himself from killing anyone, yet. |

A morphogenetic field is the field that decides how cells grow, what they become, because Red Fox is in contact with earths morphogenetic field, he can develop his body to develop animal adaptations. For comperison you can look up Vixin in DC comics. |

Her powers were derived from a magical talisman that allowed her to tap into the spirits of the animal kingdom. Which although similar to what you want has nothing to do with what you're saying. A morphogenetic field is fictional for starters, I don't know why but I feel the need to point that out. Second the very name tells you that he would have the ability to actually change into animals instead of gaining superstrength and only the instincts of predators even though by the wording he would have the instincts of all prey animals as well as predatory. He sounds more like Animal Man who gained the powers of nearby animals, which was weird because he could fly without wings as long as he was near a bird or person who could fly. But that's besides the point. |

Actually, her abilities are natural, the talisman is actual a focus that allows her to control the animal instincts, at least that's how it is in the comic. Anyway, removed the strength/speed and went simply for animal abilities. |

How does he actually use the toxins? Does he grow hollow fangs to deliver the toxin when he bites or doe he get quills that do the same or something? How does he constrict does he just grab the person and do such from that or does he actually get all snake like and wrap around the person? |

Added a little. Basically in the case of a snake, his bones would become fleable, and his strength increase so he could essentially sufficate a person by squeezing them, but he would not become so snakelike as to be able to tist his entire body around a person. |
