A mostly secret society, the Golden Sword was created as the antithesis of the Silver Shield. Their founding members are old nemeses of many prominent Silver Shield members, though it is only after the Reboot that they have banded together. Because of their platform of the inherent right to rule granted by superpowers, their ranks swell with new members who feel their powers give them superiority over normal people. It is uncertain how the Golden Sword is funded, though most suspect corporate ties and support from nations outside the UN. Though not inherently evil, the Golden Sword seeks to overthrow the governments of the world and impose its own rules, and its members are mostly fanatical about this cause. The leader of the Golden Sword is a super-powered being known only as the Mirror; the Mirror is named for his ability to copy the powers of any super he sees, regardless of whether the origins are natural, technological, or mystical. You may make any PC or NPC for the Golden Sword, but there are rules that must be followed. Each character must have a specific reason for being a member, be it either a grudge against a member of the Silver Shield or a sense of entitlement and a lust for power. Also, no one joins the Golden Sword without sponsorship from an existing member, and only infamous supers are granted full membership without a probationary period.
