Not too shabby Posts: 306 Group: Admin Member #3 Joined: February 10, 2007	The Asgardians are a superhero group that has formed only since the Crash. In truth, they are the new incarnation of the old Norse deities, and since the Crash the old religion has begun to resurface. Sensing the decline of belief with the northward spread of the Romans, the Norse gods placed all of their power into various artifacts that were symbolic of their places in the pantheon. The truth of how they were reborn is not fully known, but Loki is the first of the reborn gods, and it was he who recovered the rest of the artifacts and searches for worthy owners. The ranks of the Asgardians are open for both PC and NPC characters; however, there are some rules to follow when creating members. There can only be as many members as there were gods in the Norse pantheon, so membership is limited. Not only that, but because the powers of the Asgardians comes from magical artifacts, each member must have an artifact symbolic of their respective deity that grants them their powers. For example, Loki has a mask, Odin a spear, Thor his hammer, etc. These artifacts transform into seemingly mundane items when the Asgardian in question is in mortal form, though what this item is is up to you. Normally it would be something similar to what the artifact is. (Loki's mask turns into a pair of sunglasses, and Odin's spear into a cane, for example.)
