In this world Inter-dimensional travel isn't all that difficult if you know what you're doing, however Extra-dimensional travel, such as to parallel dimensions is impossible. The things listed below are the known dimensions on our multiverse. If you have an idea for another dimension private message me with said idea, include the information on the realm itself as well as its denizens. For those you can't guess these dimensions have existed as long if not longer than our own, however since the Reboot we have gained new access to them.

The Netherlands

The Netherlands is effectively hell, all of them. The astral energies of the evil dead come here more often than not. The mystical beings we know as demons and devils come from this dimension. Only the most powerful of fiends can appear in our world without being summoned, the weaker ones relying on possessions. Whenever a fiend manifests in this world it's power is substantially weakened. In our world these fiends are as susceptible to wounds as anything, though they generally possess inhuman resiliency making them harder to keep down, though a shot through the head still kills them. Holy items, crosses and the like can work like poison but only if the user believes it will work. If killed on the material plane (our dimension) they are simply banished back to their own world for one hundred years only allowed to return after such time or if summoned before such time. Demons and devils can only truly be killed in their home dimension, but once killed they cannot return, their astral energies dispersed amongst the multiverse.

Asgard

Asgard is the home to the Asgardians and the astral energies of true warriors that so choose to spend the rest of eternity there. The Asgardians and the souls of the dead treat those that enter with welcome brotherhood, though the few that manage to enter without dying first with apathy and general dislike. Asgard is home to few monsters beyond the souls of truly powerful animals for the hunt. At the command of Odin the warriors of Asgard will raise arms and return to the material plane, though the likelihood of this happening in our lifetime is slim to none.

The Fae Realm

The Realm of the Fae is possibly the most dangerous because of how easy it is to enter and how difficult it is to leave. The Fae Realm is quite possibly the closest realm to our own allowing for accidental entry but unfortunately exit is much harder. Time in the Fae Realm is and isn't like our own, it all depends on where you are. The Fae Realm is divided by two courts, the Winter and Summer Courts. The Winter is governed by Mab, her kindness can guide a lost soul through a blizzard and her wrath can bury it forever. The Summer Court is governed by Titania, her kindness can raise a forest in seconds and her anger could drown someone in floods. Both courts believe in strength and survival of the fittest while not being needlessly cruel, most of the time. Both courts are ruled by a Fae named Oberon, he is a generally apathetic being that cares little for the mortal realm and as such those below him feel similarly. Although a quick way to earn his ire is to call him a fairy, as all Fae despise that word. The Fae follow Oberon, Titania and Mab simply through tradition, although capable of disobeying an order from one of their superiors a lesser Fae likely wouldn't unless it is necessary in fulfilling their end of a bargain.

The Fae can traverse between the realms without trouble, their power beyond non-Fae comprehension and is generally just seen as magic. Though like all creatures they have differential power levels. The strongest can warp time and reality to their will. As the legends say the Fae love making deals with mortals and other immortals, they do not gain power simply from making the deal but can gain power depending on what the other party has to give as their end of the bargain. Fae are quite limited in what they can do depending on their power level, a weak Fae could not give you enough power to level a city but could give you valuable information. While a strong Fae could give you virtually anything you wished, but as is only fair you must give as good as you get. As is only common sense the Fae can only make deals with sentient creatures and don't make deals among themselves as there is no need to. Fae are bound by certain rules, the first being that they cannot force a creature to enter an agreement with them, the second being that they always keep their word, though they may find loopholes and back doors to any deal, the third being that they cannot lie, they can twist the truth but never tell a direct lie. Finally, the Fae must treat any they have designated as guests with kindness and hospitality, protect them from harm and give them save passage through the Fae Realm. Unless of course said guest starts a fight or abuses their host's hospitality.

They Fae appear as beautiful humans, men and women alike. With long flowing hair and almond shaped eyes. Their ears are slightly pointed and their faces sharp and predatory. Fae move with unprecedented grace and a confidence that cannot be denied. They often appear in the mortal realm under a glamor to disguise their appearance and hide their true selves. Fae blood is indistinguishable as a child raised outside of the Fae Realm manifests physical signs of their heritage, be it feline features, butterfly wings or simply pointed ears. Without a glamor to disguise them someone with Fae blood can easily be spotted by those with magical eyes or those sensitive to magic, i.e. those that face it often. Fae speak all languages, including their own which cannot be understood by non-Fae, but is inherent in all those with Fae in their blood. A Fae can recognize another Fae by sight, but will rarely point them out if they are under a glamor. However they may leave subtle hints to their true nature.

Long ago, something happened that stole the Fae's ability to reproduce amongst themselves and so all but the oldest Fae are truly only half breeds. Every so often a Fae will go into the mortal world and reproduce with a mortal, taking the child back to the Fae Realm once it is born, or if the Fae was female birthing it in the Fae Realm. Though sometimes the child is left to it's mortal parent, why isn't known. What is known is that the child is not nearly as powerful as it could have been if it had grown up in the Fae Realm.

The Hedge

The Hedge is the place between places, residing between realities. It began as a limited space created from the mind of a tortured soul once captive of the Fae. Thorn is the name that mind took for itself and with the help of others has turned the Hedge into a full fledged dimension. Travel to the Hedge is dangerous at best and Thorn so far is the only mortal capable of coming and going at his leisure, though portals to it are known to open in unpredictable ways. The Hedge holds many strange creatures from all over the dimensional spectrum though mostly from the Fae Realm as it is more closely tied to that realm, though it is connected to all realms. The Hedge is most notable for the fact that it reacts to the minds of those inside of it and the changes are permanent though may move to a different part of the Hedge than they originated. Each newcomer adds something to the Hedge, whether they know it or not, which can be good or bad depending on their mindset. For example, Grey Ghost has caused a dimming of light in the area he’s in, with ghostly manifestations that follow him. Each person is unique and therefore the effects caused by that person are also unique.

The Nightmare

The Nightmare is a realm where creatures of the dark live. True vampires, werewolves and beasts of that nature are created in the Nightmare and travel to our world to cause havoc and terror. Monsters from horror stories are often based off of creatures from the Nightmare. Creatures from this realm are undeniably evil and cruel, though those like them but created outside of the Nightmare can be as varied as humans, their moral compass is often skewed however. Any creature that is like one of the Nightmare, such as vampires that have been turned or zombies, are powered by the dark energy of the Nightmare which is lethal to all other living creatures. Creatures from the Nightmare and their brood are simply called Nightmares, with specifications obviously.

The Far Reaches

Little to nothing is known about the Far Reaches, only that it exists so far from our own world that travel there can only happen by accident, and travel back is unheard of. Legend tells that the creatures that inhabit the Far Realm are so far beyond our comprehension that viewing their true form will drive even an immortal soul mad. It is said that the denizens of the Far Realm watch the others and are fascinated by humans to such a degree that they will often visit our world and observe. Legend states that the gods of our world were created on a whim by these creatures and that the Fae fear them with great fervor. The creatures have been dubbed the Farfetches. A Farfetch possesses power even beyond Fae comprehension, reality, time and space are all things that apply to lesser beings. Although they are beyond our comprehension we are well within theirs, they understand our ways and when they decide to visit our world they are indistinguishable from another human on the street.

It is said that the only way to tell that a Farfetch has entered our world is to look for a dying star, that the power emitted from travel from their world to ours destroys a star and creates a black hole. Though all of this is hear say and speculation for a Farfetch has never been studied nor evidence found of it.
