-BatGuy can make moderate upgrades in any single area of a tech item's capabilities without research. (I.e. Range, power source, speed, etc. but not all at once.) -BatGuy can jury-rig any device to double its capabilities for up to one hour, or triple its capabilities for thirty minutes. This renders the device useless after the time limit is up, and the device needs to be rebuilt or replaced afterwards. *Shane/BatGuy has a neuro-technical lace-work constructed in his body by similar nanobots to Tobor's repair mechanism. These nanobots allow Shane/BatGuy to remotely monitor electronic broadcasts and over short distances (no more than twenty yards, with connection interface within sight) commandeer connections for his own use. Shane/BatGuy can also override ordinary electronic locks with a touch and fool most biometric sensors. -Shane/BatGuy can commandeer a connection out of his sight so long as he knows what direction a connection interface is in. -Shane/BatGuy can connect via satellite to any ShaneTech system using his network, and can act as a connection hub to upload and download information to and from a closed system. *BatGuy's mask has a special filter in the visor that allows him to see the energies left by magical beings and their spells. Normal vision is distorted using this filter, so it is unwieldy for continuous use. -Mr. Mercury can phase through low-power energy fields, but must stop and rest at full density for a minute afterwards. -Mr. Mercury can shapechange to gain 15 times the physical capabilities of a human. -Mr. mercury can shapechange to gain 20 times the physical capabilities of a human. -Mr. Mercury can fly with up to five times his normal weight. -Tobor's nanites have been upgraded to the point that he can reattach severed parts of his body if he holds them to the damaged area for a few seconds. -Even if Tobor's head is severed from his body, he is still able to control the body's movements through remote control. -Severing General Freedom's head would not kill him instantly, and if the head is placed against the neck before brain death occurs the head will reattach itself and begin healing the nerve damage immediately. -General Freedom is able to recover from major internal damage in a matter of days. *General Freedom has gained an instinctual understanding of body language and can predict a foe's movements in close combat. -Garrett can manifest three protochildren at full power. -Garrett can manifest four protochildren each at 1/3 power. -Garrett can manifest five protochildren, each at 1/4 power. -Inferno can create flames of up to 20,000 degrees F. *Inferno is no longer hampered by rain. Underwater he can only generate heat instead of flame, and his maximum temperature is cut in half. -Alyssa's Telepathy extends 250 miles. *Alyssa's telepathy can reach across dimensional borders, but she can only speak to people she knows well. *Theo has gained a subtle mastery over his appearance, allowing him to alter his facial features, hair color, and eye color with a few moments of concentration. -Theo can change his size and shape, growing or shrinking up by a matter of 25% of his normal size; this does not increase or decrease his mass or weight, only reshape it. -Lolrus can lift 175 tons over his head -Lolrus can lift 200 tons over his head. -Twitch can move at speeds up to 25,000 miles per hour. *Twitch's reliance to caffeine has proven to be only mental. He still has trouble accepting this, and he can only move at half speed when he hasn't had any caffeine. *Lucy has rudimentary control over electricity, allowing her to charge Mjolnir with electricity that discharges upon impact. Lucy can charge Mjolnir with up to a 5,000 volt charge. -Lucy can give Mjolnir up to a 10,000 volt charge. -Splortch can increase his size/density by 550% -Splortch can increase his size/density by 600% -Arthur's 'evil sense' extends out to 60 feet. |

Batguy: As this is my field of work, I do have to insist on exactly how Batguy’s nanotech connect to a system since it is of technological origin and not a technopathic ability, and many systems have different connection mediums(fiber optic, copper wire, wireless, infrared), and how they deal with encryption and firewalls as most systems have some form of protection and different anti-intrusion software and hardware. Obviously a ‘hack all’ system is out of the question. This goes for the out of sight connection as well as the in sight one. Mr Mercury: Approved Tabor: Reattachment is ok, but you need a range on his remote control for his body, and how having his head detatched effects his operations(what if his head can’t see his body for instance?) General Freedom: Approved Garret: Approved Inferno: Approved Alyssa: Lower range to 200 to continue the doubling trend. I’m not sure about breaching dimensional barriers, that would be extremely powerful by telepathic standards, personally I would say something like that would be reserved from someone she has a extremely close relationship, like soul mate close, someone she shares a unbreakable bond with. Talk to J on that one. Theo: Ok, I can understand the abilities he has so far which are purely physical and metal abilities that can be explained by many parts being put together, but I cannot understand where he pulls physical shape shifting from, that’s going to need some explaination. Lolrus: Approved Twitch: Lower speed to 22,500 to continue increase trend. Lucy: Approved Splortch: Approved Arthur: He can already sense the direction of evil, so be more specific with what this increase means for him. |

BatGuy's neural lace is taken from Tony Stark's equipment. I never said it's a hack-all system in any way, just that he can use existing connections. Besides, I don't know enough about the technology except that it's a comic-book invention and therefore doesn't have to follow real-world science. You want to be that picky, explain to me exactly how Tony Stark's neural network works and I'll elaborate on BatGuy's. For research I suggest the World War Hulk miniseries, as that's where I got the idea. They don't say how it works; it just does. I only know enough about technology to rewire cars and bull**** my way through comic science, so you have to be a little less picky about things that complicated or provide me with some base material I can use. Alyssa's telepathy has followed a 1-5-10-25 format in range from the beginning. Her telepathy already has significant drawbacks; the increase in range is not out of the question. As for the dimensional reach, it was J's suggestion. I'll agree with Tobor's remote control needing range. -Even if Tobor's head is severed from his body, he is still able to control the body's movements through remote control. The head can't be more than 100 yards from the head, and any movements other than moving in the direction of his head are blind if sight of the body is blocked. That work for you? Theo's upgrade is a new power. It doesn't have to be related in any way to his existing powers. I suggest you take a long hard look at Sentinel before you correct me about 'increase trends' with Twitch, seeing that Sentinel's strength upgrades went from 20 to 50 to 100 to 200 tons at a time. That and we already have two speedsters (the fact that they're NPCs notwithstanding) that are far and beyond Twitch's proposed upgrade, one being four times as fast and the other 20 times as fast. Arthur's sense had a range of 30 feet. I increased the range by another ten yards. I don't get what your problem is here. |

No need to get snippy, I was asked to look over your upgrades, and do not think that I havn't been chewed out before for my characters having the incorrect increase in their powers, don't start yelling at me when I try to be fair and do the same. The way you stated the nanites sounded like they just automatically access anything, forgive me for asking for more detail. I'm not pyschic, I can't magically know what you and J talk about, it's just my opinion. If you've discussed it with him, have him approve it. Tobors range is good Sorry about Arthur, missed the 30 foot limit in his profile. He's good. Just trying to figure out Theo, I realize he doesn't need an explaination, I'm just trying to figure out where it comes from since he's following a Frankenstien monster theme. |

You know what? Internet drama is dumb, and neither of us need it. You need to get an AIM account so we can all can get together about this stuff in real-time and avoid the majority of the misunderstandings, or at least get past them without it dragging on for days. I wasn't trying to be snippy, in fact I was trying NOT to be snippy. Sorry that it came across that way. It'll be later tonight that I'll have the time to get some more detail into BatGuy's thingy for you. As far as Alyssa and Twitch are concerned, there is plenty of precedent for making jumps in the increase steps and I listed Sentinel as a prime example, not to be a dick. Alyssa has a lot of drawbacks to her powers already, and the range jump just seems like peanuts for a non-combat character, at least to my perspective. And Twitch, the earlier argument notwithstanding, has some serious competition in the speedster category; said speedsters have had little to no screen time as of yet, but them compared to Twitch is practically like Magneto going against a kid with a home-made electromagnet. Seriously, get an AIM account so we can conference and all get on the same page as far as the site plots are going. This post-tag takes too long to resolve anything. |
