The blade itself still maintains it's soul devouring qualities, however, it is more like a liquid under high pressure, thus it can be blocked by physical barriers, though it can still cut like a blade. The first bit needs more explanation and the second is a no go. If it's using manifesting something it should cease to be able to devour souls.

Upon command the blade can emit a burst of light which blinds any(besides the wielder who is protected by the blade) caught within a radius of 80 feet, or looking directly at the light. The effect is as being caught within a sphere of light so bright that nothing can be seen within the sphere, even from outside the sphere. Blindness is natural in nature, and takes roughly 30 seconds to completely regain ones vision if caught within the burst, and a few moments if outside looking in. Light does not penetrate barriers such as enclosed walls. Blade cuts as normal. Below is less poetic version for previous upgrade: -The Frozen Ocean: Attuned to water, the blade becomes like a high pressure spray of water(can douse and extinguish), and can freeze to become as ice. It can freeze a body of water(up to the size of a large swimming pool), thaws quickly with large bodies of water(approximatly 1 minute after the blade is removed). The blade can let out a slash of freezing spectral energy (freezes on contact, range, line of sight, slash is as long as the actual slash of the sword, width grows from one foot to 6 feet. Strength of enegy remains the same, but the area grows. It reaches it lagest size at 10 feet. Ice crystals form where slash strikes as if freezes. A direct hit to a person cover them in a thin layer of frost and ice, chilling them to the point of hypothermia and possible frostbite. This energy slash does not cut, just freezes. It's speed is relative to how fast the user swings the blade.). The blade is more like a liquid under high pressure, thus it can be blocked by physical barriers, though it can still cut like a blade. When it's freezing capabilities are in force, it is like a solid.

Your upgrade ideas are good but it's the way you type them up. When describing the upgrade, try to be much less poetic about it. I want to know what it can do and the parameters of such. How bright can it get? Is it just normal blindness from bright lights that will go away in a few moments? Or is it supernatural in nature and thus take longer? Basically that kind of this is all I want to know and when you get too poetic about it it just clogs up the character sheet. I know you want to be poetic about everything about your character, but that's what the personality and past sections are for, not to mention actually posting with the character. Just keep these things in mind when you request an upgrade.

Upgrade Triforce *Tri gauntlets- an energy weapon system designed by Tri which changes to react with the unique energy frequency given off by his separations and combinations each setting can only be used by the form combination indicated. It has 7 different forms based on the following combinations: G/W/B: A simple blaster, range: line of sight, impact: about as much as a shotgun, enough force to knock a normal person off their feet. B: Needles. Emit a nerve paralyzing energy signature. Cover wrist area of gauntlet for close range attack, can be fired in a spray or one at a time, range: 60 feet, impact: none, cannot penetrate anything harder then wood. Paralysis lasts about 1 hour. G: Grapple whips: Energy ropes that can attach far end to any solid surface, range 60 feet, can also be used as a whip or rope. A whip strike can break wood. Whip can be cut like a rope, but can regrow. W: Wrist Blades: Cutting blades attached to the gauntlet, sharp enough to cut metal. Blades can be fired in strait line up to 60 feet. B/W: Chakram Blades: A looped ring blade attached to wrist, can cut through metal, can be shot at a curving angle and will return to gauntlet like a boomerang. Range 60 feet. W/G: Laser: Continuous laser, can cut through most standard materials, can be reflected and refracted by light reflecting/refracting materials. Range: 100 feet G/B: Knuckle cannon: Energy form on hand that covers knuckles, emits tremendous kinetic force when punching someone, can be fired, range: 60 feet, impact: High caliber.
