The Chosen is a terrorist organization formed within the last six months. It has grown in power exponentially and the world powers are no longer certain how far it's reach goes. It is led by John McKnight under the premise that supers are God's Chosen and are destined to rule the earth. They are known for heavy fanaticism and no compunctions about murder. It's members are composed almost entirely of supers, the few non-supers determined to stay alive by serving their "inevitable masters". The Chosen is a long time nemesis of the Silver Shield, both trying to eradicate the other. Though until John McKnight is brought down it's not likely that the Chosen can be discouraged from their course of action.
