Tricia clucked in disapproval, then subtly used her telekinesis to widen Yuriko's arteries and increase blood flow to her brain so she would awaken momentarily. In the meantime she ripped a street lamp out of the ground and and swatting Thorn aside with it before teleporting to another rooftop to avoid detection. She watched Graviton get blown off his feet by a below from the Lolrus, breaking his concentration and allowing the Lolrus to intercept Junk as he hurtled towards the Green Machine. His timing off, Lolrus only knocked Junk aside and the cybernetic super was still able to grab the Green Machine's arm as he passed and ripped the arm of his suit off as he went. Junk swung back around and landed, grinning widely as the absorbed tech began to slowly creep over what was left of his flesh. Lolrus charged again before the Green Machine could warn him, only to be blasted away by the stolen sonic disruptor.

Kiernan rushed over to Jeremy, passing his arm over the now choking boy and glancing over a readout on his Thing. "Do you still have contact with the Silver Shield? No, nevermind." Kiernan tapped his Thing and began speaking into it. "Silver Shield priority code Alpha-one-one-five-three-Sigma. Code Phrase: Need a Good Feeling Yesterday. I repeat, Code Phrase: Need a Good Feeling Yesterday."

Kiernan glanced up at Savant and shrugged at her confused expression. "It's complicated," he said to her unspoken question. "Stay here." Kiernan summoned a time bubble and placed it on Jeremy. Everything more than five feet away dulled to a hazy blur of muted color as everyone outside the bubble zipped about. "We're currently removed from time," Kiernan said, checking Jeremy's vital signs before standing up and assessing the motion outside the bubble. "Time is moving for us fifty times slower than it is for those outside, thus giving him an exponentially increased survival rate. Although I know he's going to survive because reality hasn't fractured." Kiernan saw the look on Savant's face and sighed.

"You can't go back in time and kill your own grandfather before you were born without ripping the universe apart," he explained. "Stay with him until help arrives." Before Savant could respond, Kiernan stepped outside the bubble and arm-barred Ver-Man in mid-leap as he pounced towards BatGuy again. BatGuy nodded to Kiernan in thanks and pulled a string of sparkly glass beads from his belt. He threw them to Ver-Man, and the dazed creature cackled with glee before snatching the beads and running off back to his sewer lair.

BatGuy moved to intercept the Pack and harry them while the Giant pounded them silly, and Kiernan turned to catch a streamer of silk in his face. "Interesting powers," Yuriko said, "but even the strongest can be overcome by the simplest poiso-" Barely dodging Kiernan's fist, Yuriko darted backwards in surprise.

"You'll have to do better than that," Kiernan said, ignoring the already fading numbness in his face. "Poisons won't work on me like they do most of your victims, Uzimake."
