News and announcments Introduction Hello people of Scarlet. It has been a long time since I last posted my project, and I'm ashamed to look at older versions. But this time, it's better than ever, and with a revamped pokedex and new forums, I've been inspired to bring this back to Scarlet. So please, read on: Region and basic information Pokemon Flint Version is set in the region of Zetroh, approximately 6 years after Hoenn. It is being produced in RPGXP. It will contain 150+ new pokemon and 100 old ones. The plotline is slightly deeper and more focused than previous ones. May include a few new HM's and a time-based breeding system. The prologue also consists of three "Storys", one being Deteuns origin, the second being the heroes and the third being Team Nightmares. Not much after the worlds creation, somewhere in the earth was a small island, which floated through Ocean currents, and drifted wherever it should take it. That was were Deteun, a legendary never before seen pokemon was created. Angry and disappointed at the barren landscape, it sealed itself in a different dimension to sleep forever. It had been over one-billion years since then. It was the year 1000, in a small village located near the very south of England. The villagers were all leading carefree, hard working lives, each unsuspecting of an exciting event, and quite Rightfully too. They would never stray from their village, and nothing had happened in the past generation. But that day that was all about to change. A huge cloud of purple-black mist materialised in the sky above them. Lightning bolts of Purple energy fired into the ground, creating a huge crater. Alarmed, the villagers dispersed in all directions. The mist squeezed together, to create solid form, and finally forming into Deteun. The pokemon had huge metal plates on its Shoulders and Waist on each side, where short, thin arms and bladed hands, or similar legs and feet protruded from. Its body was pitch black, with a purple spiral pattern on its stomach. On its face, it had a pattern-It was a ring and another inside it; One half black, the other yellow. It let out a mechanical screech, and ripped the sky open revealing a black hole. People, trees and even houses were drawn into the hole. Suddenly, a warrior made of Light and dark energy appeared in front of Deteun. The warrior used its spear and thrust it through Deteun, complete disintegrated it. The symbol on its head fell to the floor, and split into two different pokemon, Yinguiest, the pokemon of light, and Yanor, the pokemon of darkness. On their heads, each had half of Deteuns symbol, Yanor with the dark half and Yinguiest with the light half. Following this was a long, merciless war over light and darkness. After the war, they put aside their differences and resided in two caves on each side of the Zetroh region. Only when both halves of the symbol are placed together would Deteun ever be recreated... And that was the goal of Team Nightmare. Team Nightmare were a team of Bandits, scientists and crooks alike. Each member would protect the team and its survival, do what their boss would tell them, and why? Because of their ultimate goal. When Deteun was awakened, they would Take over Zetroh, and mabye the entire pokemon world using it and the fear of its ability take things into another Dimension, one where nothing existed. Team Nightmares Ruthless leader Angrail, was an extremely capable man, rumoured to have been able to capture nearly every known pokemon. Even his image struck fear into the hearts of citizens of the region. Once Deteun was his, unlike his promise, he had far, far bigger plans for its use, for he owned the prophecy of Zetroh.... But of course, a Prophecy always has a destined hero? And when the start of The villains plans take action, our hero is going to receive his very first pokemon... It was morning. The call of bird pokemon raised to an outstanding volume. The small wooden clock ticking in a formal manner, the breeze wafting through the dusty curtains. This was the home of Matthew, a now 10 year old boy who for nearly his entire life had waited to have a pokemon by his side. His appearance was nearly as shabby as his house; He had long, messy blonde hair, a shorter, thinner build and dirty second-hand Pyjamas. Matthew yawned, and clambered out of his bed. Today was going to be a very long day. “Dad, I’m leaving now!”, Matthew shouted. “OK son, good luck!”, Called back his father. Matthew sighed. His dad didn’t really care what he did. His dad had always been very mysterious, even to himself. But now wasn’t time to think about that. He headed off to the lab. Only being a few metres away from his home, it was easy to get to. Matthew creaked opened the door. Matthew stopped. Something wasn’t quite right. It was a professor’s lab… With no professor… “Hello?” Called Matthew. An uneasy presence swept over the room. Standing in the corner was a tall figure, shrouded in a long cloak and hunched over, unable to be seen. “Are you the professor?” He whispered. The first response he heard was no more than a fain chuckle. “No boy”, Said the figure, “I am not the professor. But rest assured, the professor will become an important part of my master plan”. “What?” “Child, the professor is not here”. “Then… Who are you?”, Said Matthew as the figure rose. “I… Am Angrail! And you, will soon be another to behold, the rule of Team Nightmare!"... Characters Matthew(You can choose the name, but this is default) *Sprite pending* Hero of the story.
