 POKéMON IRIDIUMAn RMXP POKéMON GAME MADE BY: MINORTHREAT0987 ~ABOUT THE CREATOR Well I am sure some of you know that I have had a decent history on these forums for starting games that never really went anywhere. The latest of which was POKéMON GOLDEN HEIGHTS, a POKéMON GOLD/SILVER/CRYSTAL remake. I would like to assure you that while this game may go through times where progress will be very slow, I really do want to finish this one. ~ABOUT THE GAME I have been planning POKéMON IRIDIUM since at least FEB. 2007. Storylines, the region, and other details have been in the works for a very long time. Because of this I am very excited to continue working on this game. Progress tends to be slower than most, but that is because I do massive amounts of event coding and event testing as I map the region and I do the story coding as I map also. ~THE REGION OF IRIHO  ALLEAF TOWN The town you have grown up in, it is the home to PROF. ASPEN'S lab and starter park. It's the gateway to your adventures through IRIHO. TREEFAR CITY The first stop in the quest to find your mother. It is also home to MATT'S POKéMON GYM, which is the first gym in the IRIHO POKéMON LEAGUE CHALLANGE. FRESHORE CITY The second stop in the quest to find your mother. Home to KENZI'S Electric POKéMON GYM, the POKéGEAR COMPANY, and the FRESHORE LIGHTHOUSE. ~THE STORY You are a young boy/girl who is living in the region of IRIHO, on your 14th birthday. You wake up and go down stairs to get some breakfast and your father rushes up and tells you PROF. ASPEN has called and wishes to see you. He also informs you that your mother has taken a trip to TREEFAR CITY to do a little shopping. You make your way to PROF. ASPEN'S lab, and when you get there she tells you that she wanted to give you a pass to get into her STARTER PARK, which is located right in your home town, ALLEAF TOWN. You then make your way to the STARTER PARK, where you catch your first POKéMON. Currently the starters are SEEDARK, DEMBER, and AQUAPHIN. As soon as you leave the STARTER PARK, PROF. ASPEN asks you to take a trip to TREEFAR CITY to fetch a package for her from the IPSI, IRIHO POKéMON SCIENCE INSTITUTE. You get to TREEFAR CITY and the only people you see are a few men and women with snow white hair, all dressed in black. You go to MR. SYNCLAIR'S house to get the package. PROF. ASPEN thanks you for getting her package by rewarding you with a POKéDEX. She tells you you should regester for the IRIHO POKéMON LEAGUE, in TREEFAR CITY. As you leave ALLEAF TOWN, your father stops you and informs you that your mother has gone missing and he wants you to go to TREEFAR CITY to look for her. When you arrive at TREEFAR CITY you see more of those men and women dressed in black. You realize they are the IRIHO BLACK SQUAD and that they have kidnapped your mother....what will happen next......you must wait to find out. ~FEATURES

Myself - A majority of the project Poccil - Starter Kit Fangking Omega - Tileset, Char. Sets Mateo - Tiles he made for Fangking Omega Avatar - Char. Sets ~WANT TO HELP ? Right now I am looking for people who would like to create new POKéMON for the IRIHO region. I am also looking for spriters to help sprite POKéMON, and TRAINERS. |

This looks quite good. But whats Iridium? Is the first screeny (title screen) going to be changed? It needs some sort of more detailed background (the blue section), and maybe a pokemon in the foreground. |

Great name :). Iridium is a substance found near where the dinosaurs died, if I am correct. Good job, I'd love to play this. |

Of course it will be changed lol, I am just waiting because I want to see if i can develop a new legendary pokemon to put on the title screen.  Yes Iridium is an element on the periodic table of elements that isn't very common on earth as much as it is in space. It has a silver metallic color to it. I like the color and the name so I chose to name my game Iridium. |

I'll help if I can. It looks good, but imo, you should put one of the starter final evos up there so you aren't revealing stuff that should be revealed later in the game. |

Or you could put just the shadow of the legend there, like in D/P. Anyway, how fo you mean 'create'? Just like concepts, or actually drawing and/or spriting them? |

Chronicler- Yea, I might do that, I still haven't made up my mind yet Scarlet Letter: Well drawings or sprites are preferred. And I like the idea of the shadow of the legend, now i just need a legend lol.  Now for the core reason behind this post.  Screens from route 2 in Iriho, look is CHERUBI, I wonder if CHERUBI is going to be in the game....  Enjoy. |

That's a shame; I couldn't draw or sprite for my life (only really tried spriting once, and I realized after tons of recent attempts that I couldn't draw). Mostly I just think of semi-vague concepts, and let someone else work the magic that brings them to life...like Cardenix and Flish, for example, if you happen to check out the Pokemon section. If you'll take me as I am, I'll gladly do what I can to help out; I've got a few early concepts I thought up recently, and whatever concepts I submitted here at Scarlet that won't end up being accepted. If you have a link to a forum or something, I'll join now and probably become active later. Look for a member named ~Scar~, or something of the sort, and that'll be me.
