Well, we had one of these ages ago, on Team Midnight in Psypoke. They deleted the teams though so this went too ;.;
But I loved this thread, so I'm bringing it back in Scarlet form.
Basically, you can talk about anything and everything here, and it saves all those bazillions of little 1-page topics you 'd have instead. You can bring up conversation about almost anything, and see peoples views ect.

I'll start off with asking what people think off sport. I personally hate it, it's tiring, pointless and it possesess peoples minds to watch it on TV rather than good things such as Doctor Who.

Ah, I suppose just a general chat thread? Loads of forums have these. Even though I never entered one XD

I dislike sport also, but mostly football/soccor. I mean, it's fun playing with friends, but MUCH too overrated. All of these teams and clubs and the way people basically devote their lives to it is just ridiculous. I'm actually on the school team for basketball o.o
Needless to say, I can't play for my live. But I have a kind of fondness for it.

I hate sports too. The worst thing is the fact that when they are showing for example a football game in the TV, all the other programs start too late or they don't show them at all. That is just so annoying.
Like sports were somehow better than everything else. >: |

Because it IS. In all but a few select cases (see: House, Sarah Connor Chronicles, American Gladiators), sports is generally going to be the best and most interesting thing on television at any given time, unless there's nothing but golf. I'm annoyed I don't get ESPN. As is, I have to make do watching football, basketball, and baseball games whenever they're on and fairly good match-ups, because there's not much else to watch instead.

Sport bores me to death, weather other people like it on TV or not, and it doesn't seem fair when they cancel my favourite shows to show some random people I've never heard of kick a ball around a bit. It may be skillful kicking, but it's still just kicking.
In the last football world cup, we watched it in school for some reason or other wen it was on (entirely work unrelated btw), and I was actually wishing we could just get on with bloody maths D:
But when they cancelled doctor who for some bloody football match, I got really angry, because I'd been waiting all week to see the second half of a double episode (a cliff hanger at the end of the first half), and it was cancelled, but I only found out as I thought it was going to start. Also, they change times around for sport, so I end up missing the first half of my program because they moved it back because of a stupid football match.
I personally don't like sport much, perticularly football/rugby ect. Or ones you have to run after the ball. I quite enjoy tennis, and I like swimming/cycling ect. I fancy taking up a martial art, but I'm to lazy to find out about it.

I like playing soccer, but not watching it. Thankfully it's not on TV much here in the US.

Sports are very fun to play, in my opinion, but I don't put in extra effort to train, or to do anything for that matter, so I always end up way behind athletically and skill-wise. Still, I enjoy playing soccer, basketball, and baseball. I'd probably play football (the American variety) too, but I never had the build for it; too small.

Regular
Rugby is great to play(Although given my light wait I'm useless :P), and I quite enjoy swimming and climbing. Football (Or what americans call "Soccer" , Ironic when american football barely involves feet). Otherwise I tend to hate watching and playing it. I was also a fan of doctor who and it is VERY annoying when they change times around for it.

Football on tv is 90minutes of your life wasted(I'm english, It may be different in america), I cannot stand it in any way.

Magma king d'you watch any other of the programs I like to watch... *Begins to list*
Primeval
Robin Hood
Doctor Who
Torchwood
Sarah-Jane Adventures
The Apprentice
Dragons Den
:o There's probably more but I forget.

I don't enjoy Rugby because a) It involves getting covered in mud and B) I generally run away from the ball rather than at it because someone might hurt me ;.;
Actually, I can enjoy sports I'm bad at, because the hopelessness of me at some sports is quite funny.
*Inta_Xonem hits tennis ball too hard
*Tennis Ball flies into the back of teachers neck.

Ok now lets have a show of hands; Who hates German(School Subject)?
*Waves hand in air*
French isn't that bad, but I hate the German teacher, so German went down onto my hate lists. I just don't like the sound of the language.
No offense german people btw.

Really? I was sure you said somewhere that you were American o.o

I really also like climbing, and any extreme sports. Sadly, there are not that many kind of sports like that in this country..
I'm going to America for the first time this June. I can't wait! We're staying in New York for two weeks. I wish it was longer though, like a year. :P

I do three languages in school:

English - meh..)
Irish - No! That language must DIE! I hate it, I'm crap at it and it's ridiculous.
German - It's alright.. I've gotten used to the sound of it. It just sounds weird for the first year or two.

In our school you can choose between German and French. You used to be able to have one of those subjects AND Spanish if you wanted, but not enough people in the class were doing it and it was cancelled.
Here, you start English at 5 (when you start primary school), Irish when you're 7, and German/French when you're 13 (when you start secondary school).

Oh yessum, and I want to bring up another topic. Anyone here like the game TOMB RAIDER? I got the first game when I was 4.. and have been a huge fan ever since.. Lara Croft is like my idol!

I luckily don't have German as a school subject, but the even worse Swedish. I hate it because of the teacher and also the language itself (no offense Swedes). The teacher is a wimpy old guy who everybody hates, because he always gives you homework, no matter what. <_< And he can't keep the class quiet.
I wish we had no Swedish lessons.

English lessons are pretty boring too, I usually already know everything "new" that's been taught to us. :/
I just sit there and answer occasionally. And I get the best grades in my class from the exams wihtout even studying. : P

Actually it's the same with most other subjects too (I hope I don't sound too egoistic : P). So school is extremely boring to me.

Anyone here with the same "problem"?
