OMG I ARE TEH BACKS. Heh. Anyway, today's Pokemon is Weavile. A vicious little beast in his own right, Weavile rose to fame because he was one of the first Pokemon revealed to us. I like him because he evolves from Sneasel. #461 - Weavile Type - Dark/Ice Sharp Claw Pokemon Height - 3'08" Weight - 75.0 lbs Abilities Inner Focus - Prevents Flinching Keen Eye - Accuracy can't be lowered Evolution Chain Evolves from Sneasel after a level up while holding a Razor Claw at night. Availability: Diamond, Pearl You can't find Weaviles in the wild, but you can get a Sneasel to evolve at Routes 216 and 217. Moveset: Item: Bright Powder Ability: Keen Eye Stats: Hp: 344 Attack: 329 Defense: 229 Special Attack: 189 Special Defense: 269 Speed: 349 Ice Punch Pursuit Swords Dance Aerial Ace Alright. Weavile is basically a fast powerhouse. Of course, if a fighting attack comes anywhere near him, he's screwed. However, that shouldn't really happen. Ice Punch is Weavile's opening move. He's fast enough to pretty much always go first, and, with Ice Punch being Physical, his Attack stat will rape any Dragon that's in his way. It also owns Grass/Ground turtles. Pursuit is Weavile's option attack for the switching people. If you're predicting a switch, use Pursuit, and the opponent will be tasting Weavile's claws of fury. Since Pursuit will do double damage on someone switching out, anything with a low defense will die almost immediately. I don't think you'd be able to use Swords Dance on a fragile Pokemon like Weavile, but one or two Swords Dances can make this vicious kitty unstoppable. Use this move at your own risk. Aerial Ace is the trump card for all Fighting Types. If your enemy thinks that his Machamp can rape your Weavile, greet him with a nice, big cup of Aerial Ace to the face. That'll shut him up. Bright Powder is here in the effect that you don't kill that Fighting Type with Aerial Ace. It gives you a second chance. Inner Focus has no real use, since Weavile will almost always go first, and it never hurts to be immune to Sand-Attack. Well, there's the viciousness that is Weavile. I'm glad Sneasel got an evolution, and I'm glad that people know use the thing. See you tomorrow, for another Pokemon Of The Day! |
