Leon laughed silently at her request. He had seen her naked, after all. But, he wasn`t going to argue, because he knew she was being smart about this. He still wanted her, despite the fact that she was pregnant. And, precisely because she was pregnant he couldn`t have her. It put him in a some sort of a limbo, seeing as how they finally agreed to be together it didn`t mean he could be with her. His hormones were going crazy all over again.

So, just nodding he did turn around and despite the urge to take a peek, kept watching the wall instead. He didn`t need to mess with his hormones, because it could be too unhealthy for him. ”You know, this is kind of weird.” he commented, smiling to himself because she couldn`t see it. As Cassie was done he turned around and looked at her. She looked better in clothes than in the hospital gown. Apparently.

When she started speaking, Leon walked up to her and softly put his hands around her, smiling down at her. As she finished speaking he leaned down and kissed her lips softly, pulling back few moments after. ”What do you think about ordering a take out from some fancy restaurant and having a feast at the flat? I`d even eat for you to feel like being with a normal human being.” He grinned.

Quite frankly, the whole... not tempting Leon thing made life no fun at all. They were together now, right? So she shouldn't have to force herself to not... act like she normally did. Yet, it was probably for the better to keep his view of her in anything revealing to a minimum. Sure, she wasn't banned from sex, but the Healers had warned her to be wary. Anything too strenuous was bad for her and bad for the baby. And... damn. Nine sex-less months. She was going to die.

Maybe it was kind of weird, but... eh. Life was weird. She didn't bother commenting on that, because it didn't take long for Leon to walk up and take her into his arms. How she found it so comforting, Cassie had no idea. It was weird how time and situations could change things. Before, back in the beginning, she hated him. That hate slowly became an acceptance, then a friendship, and then she just wanted him. Loving him... It hadn't come easily, and their relationship definitely wasn't easy. It would never be easy, but that was okay. She had him, and she had her son, so everything else was alright.

Cassie met Leon's lips, her arms wrapped tightly around him. As he pulled away, her facial expression changed to a small smile as she looked up at him. And as she heard his words, her expression could only soften, and she realized that she'd never looked at him like that before. Looking at him... her eyes had never held such love. "You don't have to do that..." she said quietly. "I mean, I definitely want that take out feast, but you don't need to pretend for me. You just being there is enough. You being there is more than enough."

It's just us against the world.
Looking at all or nothing,
Babe, it's you and I.

Leon noticed it – there was no way he could not notice it. Maybe because he knew her face so well, or maybe because he hadn`t seen it for too long. But the expression on her face caught his attention and his face broke into a smile. She had the perfect look, the one he had missed for not seeing too long and the one that made a person feel… a lot more than he was. It made him feel like he had done something right in his life and that was more than he had ever asked for.

His hand went up to her face and he placed it on her cheek, brushing his thumb against her skin softly. ”I know I don`t have to.” He agreed, his eyes not moving from hers. ”But I want to. I want to be more like you for once. You can tell me how it tastes and I`ll imagine it… or remember.” he smiled.

The look was still there and eventually he laughed silently. ”I love the current expression on your face. I wish I could see more of it. Like… everyday.” His hand went a little bit up her face and now he brushed his thumb just under her eye. It was something above everything else. Eventually taking a step back, he took her hand and nodded towards the door. ”I think we should go back now.”

Maybe it was pathetic, but at that moment, Cassie was absolutely happy with life. It had come quickly, a comfort falling over her in just a mere matter of seconds. It was weird, but right then, she felt as though everything was absolutely perfect. She felt like nothing could go wrong again. At that moment, she felt absolutely safe, which made no sense whatsoever, but it was a good feeling so she'd accept it. For now, she wasn't going to fight against it. Were the hormones responsible for her sudden mood change? Probably. Or it could be that in that moment, she'd truly realized just how much she'd fallen for the man in front of her. The entire time they stood there, that expression did not falter for a second. How a man could make her feel so worry-free in only seconds amazed her.

"If you want to, then sure, go ahead," she said, her smile growing just a bit as his thumb brushed her cheek. After many weeks of the cold hands of Healers, medical equipment, and other annoying things, the soft touch of Leon's hand was an incredible feeling. "Continue being awesome and you can see more of it every day." The expression broke for merely a second as she grinned, but she returned right to it in less than a second.

"I love you." It was still weird to say those words. After all, it'd only been months ago that she was saying them to an entirely different person. It'd only been months ago that she'd extremely disliked him. It'd only been a couple of months since feelings were even admitted and it'd only been a few minutes since they'd established that being together was okay. This... This was new, but it felt right.

"Alright, yeah, let's get out of here," she said, pulling him gently to the door. "You have no freaking idea how ready I am for life outside of this place. It's. Been. Hell." But in all honesty, it wasn't that bad - Leon's near constant presence made it bearable. Still, though, she wanted out, so she lead the way right out of the door, excited to see the world besides those four, blinding-white walls. The fancy restaurant take out feast couldn't come soon enough.
