Take a Look in the Mirror
Appearance:
*Note that in all, Appearance should be about 100-300 words.
Eyes[color/shape]: She has almond shaped, chocolate brown eyes but they were green when she was a baby.
Face Shape: A more rounded face, though her mother likes to tease her that she's just rough around the edges anyways.
Hair[color/style/shape]: Freya has naturally black hair that she typically wears down unless she's working and it gets in her way. It's a little bit past her shoulder's, but she regularly trims it so that changes a lot. It's pin straight and she never does much of anything with it as she doesn't see the need. The only thing that goes in her hair is a bobby pin or two or her favorite gray and black stripped beanie hat.
Personal Style: She likes her jeans and t-shirts for the most part. At work she tries to dress it up more but that never really works. She likes to be comfortable in whatever she's in and at the moment her favorite shoes are a pair of old fashion black ankle boots. She has a ton of plain colored shirts ranging from bright colors to just plain old black, and her jeans mostly have rips and tears at the knees, and tend to have ink splatters on them; She's not embarrassed either, she just wears what she likes and if she can afford new cloths she'll get them. Usually she can't though. Makeup to her isn't a big deal either. She doesn't believe in covering up ones flaws and that you shouldn't have to hide anything.
Skin Color: Freya's fairly pale but she gets out enough in the sun to give her a healthy color. In the summer she picks up more of a tan than anything as she hangs out more at places and from going on location for various stories she's writing.
Other(unusual/distinguishing features such as marks, tattoos, wounds, scars, etc): She has a scar on her right shoulder from when she was younger, and after sleepwalking she ended up tripping down the outdoor stairs as she tried to get outside. Her nose is a little off center from a different fall, but it's not enough to be very noticeable.

Personality
*Note that in all, your personality should have at least 500 words -- basic traits + questionaire.

Basic Traits: Frey's a very determined person and she doesn't like to leave things unfinished. Once she starts a job she works till it's done. She apologizes without worrying about her own dignity if she knows she's done wrong, and even if she assumes shes done wrong. At work, since she gets to know the people there the best, she's willing to lend a hand if someone needs help with their article or she can be a good listener if they need someone to chat to. She hasn't handled gossip well but she's learning it's just another part of her job.

On the flip side she gets easily frustrated with herself when visions interrupt her day or her work, and she doesn't take criticism well. She'll smile and shrug it off then, but inside she wants to lash out.

She's trying to learn to be more self-confident, but she isn't too sure of herself a lot of the time. She worries about meeting new people because she's afraid of seeing something bad happening about them and having no control about it; She doesn't want to see people she loves hurt.

Typically Freya's a calm person but timid. She's never talked well with others but she makes the effort. She likes to observe more than dive head first into things, and she's a well rounded person. She loves learning in general, and she likes finding out new facts; necessary or otherwise.

Because of her lack of sleep she can be a little slow, but she remedy's that with coffee and any of her latest found tricks. She's learned to cover up the dark circles just to make sure her bosses don't start asking. When she loosens up around people she's more talkative and more herself. At home she likes to sing to her music and read her favorite book, but she can't go wrong with chocolate ice-cream and a good movie.

Despite being muggle too she doesn't care to drive. She either walks everywhere or rides her vintage bike.

Questionaire:
1. How does your character act when meeting a new person? Freya's shy and she'll give a small smile as her way of trying. The other person has to start the conversation though she'll at least say 'hi' or how how the person is. She has her brave moments though where she attempts to strike up a conversation, and she does need to learn how to speak up.
2. How does your character act in their day-to-day life? She likes to keep to herself and carries a notebook and pen with her at all times to jot down what she sees. Be it someone interesting in how they look or just an interesting event in her day. She keeps to herself and likes to stick to the same routine, but she does get easily bored.
3. How does your character act when they're just hanging around their house?(Think about hobbies, and the house here; do they have pets? etc) Freya's much more relaxed at home. She keeps it bright and there's a lot of wood in the place so she makes sure to have a lot of bright colors. At home she keeps music on at all times, and the counters are usually always cluttered with art supplies, notebooks, newspapers, and copies of her job resume. She likes to put her hair up and just relax and read a book and be able to sit around in her most torn up but comfortable pajamas. Her room doesn't have a bed and it's mostly a storage place for odds and ends, and the living room has a couch, a tv and that's all.

She honestly has more space than she needs. Not having much time in the morning to get ready she has a rope stretching across one side of the living area to hang cloths from so she can just grab them and go in the mornings which she finds much easier than having to dig through dresser drawers.
4. What responsibilities do they have? She has to make rounds in the mornings when she's out of a job to take her resume in to see if she can get another job at yet another newspaper company. At home it's the typical keeping the place clean and making sure she gets herself something to eat. More or less she's her own responsibility and she finds that whoever she has a vision about is also her responsibility.
5. How does your character currently feel about romance? (One night stands only? Marriage and lots of babies?) Freya believes in love but she doesn't make a big deal out of it. She thinks marriage can work if you're with the right person but she's not rushing herself. She has a hard time socializing as it is so she doesn't see the point in making an effort when she's comfortable with how her life is currently. At the moment she really couldn't see herself being a mom because of all her other problems going on, and she doesn't want to end up passing on her gift to a child though she's not sure if that's even possible.
6. What kind of quirks or mannerisms does your character have? She has to have her morning cup of coffee in order to function right and she gets twitchy if she forgets her bag. It really unnerves her. She has to have her notebook and all her things with her, and she's prone to overreacting or panicking in some situations. Her routine at home is to have every light on before she can sit down to relax, and also to have music on. It's almost impossible to handle silence in her place anymore.

History:
* Note that in all, you should have at least 500 words of a response for your history, preferably more.

Early Childhood: Where were they born/how did they grow up? What were their parents like? How did they discover their magic? Freya Mason was born in a community hospital in Brentwood not far from her childhood home. Ramona had complications through out her pregnancy so the young parents weren't even sure if their daughter would make it. To their surprise though Freya was a healthy and happy baby. She wasn't overly fussy and as she got older she was just as quiet. She always had imaginary friends and hesitated to ask when she wanted something. Her tactic as a kid was to cry in her room till her mom came in to ask what was wrong.

The family lived in a small home, the upstairs being theirs and the downstairs belonging to another family, and they made do with what they had. They had enough money to get by so they were by no means struggling. Ramona was a stay at home mom as Freya needed her undecided attention, and Collin was a journalist. When Collin had a job in another town or country, the family went with up till things with Freya got worse.

When Freya was six she started to have nightmares that got progressively worse. Sometimes she'd toss and turn so much she'd scratch herself or harm herself in some other way and her parents began to worry. She was shipped around to many psychiatrists and had a counselor come to the house up till she was sixteen.

From age ten she had bouts of sleepwalking, but it was never consistent. Her parents still kept a close eye on her and they made sure to have a alarm system installed in their house to be safe.

Hogwarts/Wizarding Schooling Years: What house were they in? What were their favorite classes? Their least favorite? What did they do with friends on weekends/free-time? How did they spend their summers? Who were they closest with? Who was their first kiss/first time [if they've had them]? Were they more likely to follow the rules or bend them? Did something monumental happen during these years that changed them forever--and if so, what and how? At school the teachers were informed so she was watched more closely than the other children. She excelled more at English and Math than anything, but she was a big fan of history. More specifically learning about the Salem Witch Trials. She loved stories about things like Pandora's box, haunting's, and anything supernatural or fictional.

Freya went to a small elementary school but she kept to herself. She didn't really socialize well and she was having problems telling the difference between her nightmares and reality. As a result her grades suffered her entire schooling till she was finished. In high school was when she really started to not want to sleep. She ended up at school with circles under her eyes and her parents wouldn't believe her when she told them the things she saw were real.

When Freya was seventeen she was hanging out at the beach and there was a group of girls from school that were hanging out on the other side. It was the first time she had ever had a vision when she was awake and it scared the hell out of her. As usual she tried to shrug it off but when one of the girls went in the water and ended up drowning before her eyes, the very thing she saw. She started to realize that the nightmares weren't just nightmares at all then. She's actually a Seer though she has yet to learn what that means.

After that she slept less and less. Her coffee drinking habit started then too and she took just about anything she could to stay awake till she learned all the tricks she knows now. During the week she only manages to get a few hours of sleep, more if she falls asleep unbeknown to her.

At home she spent a lot of time in her room jotting down what happened during the day. She wrote down each and every vision she had to make sure she could remember it, and she tried to find out if those came true. Most, if not half, did and as she got older the visions got more accurate.

Weekends were spent at the local cafe's just watching people and trying to sort out what was happening. By now she'd given up on her parents ever believing her, and the one boy who did care to have an interest in her she shooed off out of fear.

Entering Adulthood: What do they do for a career/how do they make money? Where do they live, and who with? Do they travel; who with? Who are some of their friends and what do they do for free-time? What goals/dreams do they wish to accomplish? Using her writing skills and interests to support herself has so far worked out fairly well. She was able to get her own loft flat in Liverpool away from home. She lives by herself and she's worked for at least ten different newspaper branches by now and still moving from one to another. She could probably just stick with one but she gets bored too easy with having to write the same old thing.

Her hobbies are the expected reading and writing but she also likes to write songs. Music is a big thing in her life and she always has it on at home. She doesn't like one genre so she'll have on just about anything. During her off days she hangs around the parks or cafe's. Beaches if it's warm enough out. After writing so much about the typical things she's starting to try and figure out more about her gift and seeing if there's something more to the world than she's seeing.

Extra:
How many languages do they speak? Can they cook[and what's their favorite foods?]? Do they have any strange customs or traditions? Please add anything else you wish to/that you know about your character here that do not fit in above categories. Freya's learned how to speak French and German on her own and from having to know various languages for work. From reading she knows random facts that probably won't do her any good but she finds them fascinating regardless. She's not a fan of celebrating holiday's because she's never seen the point in honoring a made up day. To her it's just another day on the calendar.

Only a couple years ago Freya decided to become a vegetarian so her house is stocked with plenty of recipe cards and cookbooks for meal suggestions, and she's very diligent about reading the labels on most anything when she goes shopping.
