Such a true statement for sure. And Ella didn't have a plan in mind for getting him away from the doorway exactly, but she was making it up as she went. At least no one had come down the hall wanting to go out yet.

"Because-"
She leaned up on her toes and kissed his neck first, before kissing his jaw. "I might just have to cancel that rain-check or ours if you don't. What a shame that would be."

It wasn't really even about being able to climb the rock wall anymore really as it was more of just teasing for the sake of teasing. It would be funny though if it did work, but he was already onto the game and she knew that.

Bradley would have liked to take credit for Ella's confidence and teasing but he really couldn't, not wholly anyways. He was merely a push out the door, but it was Ella who kept walking on out and she kept on surprising him. Sure, his mere presence and obvious confidence in every day was bound to have an effect -this was him trying to be modest; he was failing- but in reality it was mostly all her. He just enjoyed the benefits that came with her games.

"Hmm," was his first response; a small sound at the back of his throat as he nodded his head slightly. "That would be quite a shame," he agreed silently seeing as how he was quite distracted at the moment. Clearing his throat, he tried to focus on what he was supposed to be doing. Alright he was at the door...because they wanted to go outside but....he was way too easily distracted.

Oh, right, rock wall= bad.

"Ella," he began in a soft tone, trying to get her attention, "You're still not climbing that rock wall." He grinned softly, taking her chin in his hand as he tilted her face upwards, kissing her full on the lips. "But, I can make it up to you."

A good distraction but alas not good enough to get what she wanted apparently. Though wasn't that set on climbing the rock wall anymore as she was just going in the water. Leaning away as he said her name, she pretended to be more upset than she was about losing out on the rock wall climbing. Of course she could forget about rather easily as he was supplying his own distraction. The comment, however, made her laugh just the slightest.

"We're never going to make it to the beach," Ella told him against his lips, amused.

So they were probably both easily distracted then.

"Do I at least get to go swimming?" she teased.

"We'll get there eventually," he commented with a small grin before he resumed kissing her once again. Really, he didn't see a problem with taking their time to get to the beach. It's not like the beach was going to go anywhere, and they had a couple of days to go swimming. Then again, the same could be said of the opposite, and that they could leave their...physical ardor for later. The problem was that he had been restraining himself ever since the moment he found that he had lung cancer, and the restraining continued because he was still technically in recovery from that heart attack in November...so for other things he had very little self-restraint though.

Ella had more self-restrain than him.

He sighed as she pulled away from him again to ask question. "I guess we can attempt that," he answered her as he put a hand against the door handle and pushed the door open, letting himself follow the door as he leaned against it. With a grin he gestured to the outside, "Ladies first, of course."

How much did she really want to go to the beach again? She was becoming as easily distracted as Brad was, and who could blame her? But with the door open that made it easier.

"Attempt is definitely the right word," Ella told him as she walked out the door and started outside.

Would a little water or the beach stop them? Probably not. Well, depending on how many people, if any, were around that is.

"Messing with my self-restraint though in my state is a dangerous thing," she called back.

More or less because it was almost non-existent. See, this way though she could blame it entirely on hormones and such though she wouldn't be afraid to take the blame either.

Maybe a few deep cleansing breaths would help rectify the situation. He would just have to take deep breaths and focus on not giving in. Yeah, it was a long shot that it would even work, particularly when he didn't even want it to work. But then of course...it wasn't like they would necessarily have to put a halt on their actions while at the beach. Worst things happened, after all...they wouldn't be the first-

Alright, see, it was thoughts like that got them in trouble and in various public places to begin with.

Noticing that Ella was already a couple of more steps ahead, he stepped away from the door, letting it close as he walked behind her, grinning at her last remark. "Maybe that's why I can't stop doing so," he suggested, smirking as he quickly walked to catch up to her and then starting walking in front of her, turning around and walking backwards so he could face her.

"It's not like you would complain though," he pointed out with a small smirk.

"Are you suggesting something Mr. Cox?" Ella teased.

Though it could be true rather than just a teasing comment. Would she complain though? Of course not. Who would? Glancing past him she noted the couple of people either heading in or heading out somewhere, and one of them wasn't paying as much attention as Brad was so she grabbed Brad's hand to tug him aside with her; laughing just a little amused.

"Here I was taking you out to this amazing place and you go and try and hurt yourself on day one," she joked. "What would you do without me?"

Being just as much of a tease though she leaned up on her tip-toes and went to kiss him, but just as she was about to she leaned away and whirled around to continue toward the beach that she assumed only seemed farther away because of all their stops to either joke around or him blocking the door.

Reaching the sand though she picked a handful up and sifted through to see what shells she had picked up with it.

Brad gasped in fake surprise as Ella teased him about suggesting something; with a hand over his heart he said, "You would think me capable of suggesting lewd behavior?" He grinned devilishly, winking at her after he was done talking. Right, he didn't think he was ever innocent. Not as child, completely not as a teenager, and certainly not know. Nor did he ever think he would ever be innocent. Maybe in an alternate reality and he had been in one! He couldn't remember if he was innocent though; he didn't like thinking about that experience.

Caught off guard though, he laughed as Ella pulled him away from bumping into someone that was walking towards them. Brad let out a half-hearted apology, partly because he was laughing. Besides, they should watch where they were going. Granted, the same could be same for him but.

"Very little," he responded to her question, whether it was rhetorical or not. He grinned, leaning down to kiss her but he never ended up doing so because she pulled away right before he did. He sighed and shook his head, refraining from making a kissing sound at the air. He turned around reluctantly, with a bit of a groan, as he finished walking and they finally made it to the beach.

Grinning mischievously, he leaned down to pick up a bit of sand and then crept up behind Ella, letting it fall on top of her head.

Ella was too busy paying attention to the couple of shells she had found amongst the sand she picked up to really notice Brad walking up. Shoulder's scrunched up and a surprised look on her face, she stood still for a moment while the sand either tricked out of her hair or stayed in it. Dropping the shells back in the sand she turned around, causing more of it to fall out of her hair.

"Bradley," she started, grinning as she took a couple of steps back toward the water.

Getting her hands wet she then picked up some sand and walked back to him; grabbing either side of his face so the wet sand stuck.

"You should see how that looks," Ella laughed, stepping out of arms reach so when he retaliated she stood a little chance of escape.

Bradley grinned as Ella tensed up, her facial expression priceless as she turned around to face him. Granted, he would have preferred a squeal, a jump, a quick frenzy to try and get all of the sand out of her hair or all of the above, but he was pleased with the reaction nonetheless. Now he was expecting retaliation, and he wasn't aware in what form it could come in. Ella was an evil little plotter after all, two notebooks of stuff written accounted for it. Due to that, his eyebrow expectantly arched as he watched her treat into the water.

"Ella," he cautioned with a small smirk as he saw her coming up from the water with sand in her hands. He took a couple of cautious steps backwards, with his hands in front of his chest in defense. "Now, Ella, let's not do anything ra-" sand in his face. There was sand on his face now. He brought his hands up to wipe some away, grinning as he wiped it off on Ella's on face. "It looks better on you, I'm sure," he commented.

Did he stop there? Not exactly. See, now the water was calling his name, and in a swift motion he picked Ella up, and started walking towards the water.

The sand may have been warm but it still felt weird when it was on her face. Before she could wipe it off though Brad had picked her up and was making a bee line for the water. Hey at least she had been able to keep the shirt for this long, though it was going to be pretty much useless once she was in the water.

"I know I said I wanted to go swimming, but I did not mean in this way," Ella told him, amused by the situation.

Well at least one way or another they'd end up in the water.

"If it weren't for the water though I'd have to suggest that shower now that we're both dirty from the sand."

She was just waiting for a chance to retaliate which wasn't going to be possible till he had put her down, but once he did? Two could play this game.

Bradley had a habit of carrying Ella around, he figured. Not that he was admitting it because it was a bad thing, more like a frequent thing. He was just surprised he could still do so without his arms giving out- and no that wasn't a crack at Ella for gaining weight. She was pregnant, of course she was gaining weight, human beings were growing inside of her, three of them- wow...he forgot how weird and out of this world pregnancy really was. That wasn't the point, the point was that he had lost muscle tone what with the whole...stressful medical situations and etc. The fact that he was still able to carry his wife around- ego booster.

Still grinning like the idiot and the fool he probably was, Brad kept on walking deeper into the water, waiting until it was deep enough before he let go of Ella and let her go in the water, right before she finished her sentence. He laughed, going underwater for a minute to get fully wet and to get the sad off his cheeks.

"What's the problem with being dirty?" he asked teasingly with a small smirk, in regards to her last sentence, that he had of course interrupted.

Letting herself sink under the water a moment to get the sand out of her hair, she came up only to hear his comment. Of course it would be interpreted rather differently than any ordinary comment.

"Depends on the situation," Ella retorted, grinning, and moving her hair out of her face.

Whether he wanted a response that or not she gave up. And the shirt she was so concerned about? It was getting in the way and it was see through at this point anyways so honestly that didn't seem like a good idea anymore. Neglecting that she splashed Brad and then backtracked to what he had said before.

"Now, how is it you're going to make it up to me for not allowing me to climb the rock wall again? I'm curious."

He grinned and nodded his head, splashing water at her playfully after she resurfaced from the water. "Situations like what?" he pressed on, wanting to hear her say it. But no, the subject was changed. It wasn't a disappointment, however, because it was a subject he didn't mind speaking about. Actually, if they both played their cards right, they could find a way to communicate on a whole other level that didn't involve many words. Or maybe it would turn out to be a teasing mess like it happened at least fifty percent of the time.

Although, the fact that his shirt that Ella was wearing had gone see-through was proving to be a distraction; one he would have to make sure to try and pull away from. Or not. "Are you now?" He asked teasingly as he swam closer to her and put his hands at her waist, pulling her closer. "And you can't guess?" he continued with his teasing as he leaned in to kiss her again.

How was it most situations generally ended this way? Oh, right, because they both had one track minds. Ella more so than before but she was going to blame that on hormones. Besides, who could blame her when she was married to someone that looked like Brad did?

"I have a few guesses," Ella teased back, allowing the kiss this time as she wrapped her arms around his neck, trying for pressing closer.

Was there even anyone else around? She hadn't bothered to notice since she was carried into the water to start with and had been too busy finding shells prior to that. Shells that though she was going back for, she could wait for.

"Well," she began, leaning away for a moment. "We did make it to the beach."

He never got tired of kissing her, and that was probably why he and she alike always found themselves partaking in the most inappropriate of activities anywhere they went. It was like a game to them really, a very fun and exciting game. The game was only made better when they barely escaped detection. Not that they had been caught yet, not even at Mungo's. Was it bad if a part of him wanted to get caught at least once? It had to be the exhibitionist in him.

He didn't appreciate when she moved away from the kiss though, and he looked down at her in fake disapproval. Grinning, however, he pulled her closer again and mentioned, "We have, which is why we deserve a reward." He leaned in again, cupping her face after moving her hair out of the way, as he kissed her softly, but making it deeper every moment that passed.

Most of the time she tended to worry about what people were around and that such right off the bat, but those thoughts were easily dismissed with a well worth it distraction. She grinned as she saw the look of disapproval, but it didn't even last. She nearly didn't let him finish his sentence as she went to kiss him again, but he beat her to it. If it wasn't for the water...well she'd leave that idea for another time she figured.

Ella returned the kiss but then moved her lips from Brad's to kiss along his neck; biting and sucking at his skin as she did so. Words were ultimately unneeded and she didn't care to tease again by leaning away either.

There was something pretty arousing about being in the water. Maybe it was also the water and the fact that they were in public. Then again, they were no strangers to displays of public affection. But it was never in a place so open. He did love beaches- it came with living so close to one for nearly all his life. All types of water really; lakes, pools, rivers, waterfalls...waterfalls. He had to keep that in mind, because that sounded like a potential outing.

All thoughts of water, however, were erased as Ella kissed him more deeply, moving her lips down to his neck. He groaned softly; she knew all his weak spots by now. He in turn, held her more tightly to him, his hands wandering all about her body. He pulled at her shirt, really his shirt, trying to move it away, despite the distractions of her lips- he ended up ripping her shirt. Whoops.

He brought Ella's lips back to his own again, kissing her more deeply and passionately than before, his hands still roaming around her body, caressing every inch of skin he could reach.
