![]() ![]() --&&-- Ella had put the blindfold on Brad that morning to guarantee he wouldn't see anything till she wanted him too. She had already taken care of Belle and Jett the day before so that was another thing they didn't need to worry about. Directing him to the front window so he could see the view when she took the blindfold off, she smiled and went on to explain at least a little bit. "Alright, I know we have stuff to unpack and all that still but that can wait. I know too this is late but we've been busy and there wasn't really any time, so this is me making up for the fact I was on that death-eater raid on your birthday." Taking the blindfold off she awaited his reaction, grinning as she finished with, "Tada?" |

Brad wasn't sure how he felt about surprises. Well, when he was the one throwing the surprises he didn't mind them but now he wasn't sure. Surprisingly enough, the blindfold around his eyes didn't alarm him as much as calm him. Did that speak a little bit of his tendencies? Yes, a bit. But he went along with it rather than face the wrath of his hormonal and pregnant wife. "Is this the part where you kill me?" he asked jokingly as Ella directed him to a spot in a room he had been apparated to but couldn't see. He knew that Ella was the klutzy one but he could have his unbalanced moments, particularly when sight was deprived to him. Her small explanation caused him confusion right up until the point she mentioned the DE raid. Well, now this was a good surprise then? Once the blindfold was taken off he blinked his eyes to readjust them to the light. The immediate sight had him whistling in surprise and actual awe. "Wow," he said, getting closer to the window. He loved the view, he was a beach and coastline kind of guy and in England he had missed that. Now this was amazing, gorgeous. Turning around he actually looked at the room, and kept being pleasantly surprised. "And I thought you had forgotten all about it," he teased with a grin as he approached her again and leaned in to kiss her. "Munchkin, you didn't have to do this. But I'm glad you did, thank you." He leaned in and kissed her again. "This is great. Amazing." And the only reason wasn't jumping around like a little kid during Christmas was because he was avidly focusing on not embarassing himself. Though that probably wouldn't last long. |

It was a anxious sort of feeling waiting for his reaction really. The idea could either go over well or completely blow up in her face. Relieved to hear he did love it though she was all smiles. "You're welcome," she said, kissing him back, wrapping her arms loosely around his waist. "This is ours for a couple days. I've already got Beth and Jem on babysitting duty so that's all taken care of. And you'll find I was completely prepared and in the closet is mine and yours things." See, all those skills of planning came in handy sometimes for other things that weren't deadly plots of destruction. "I would never forget by the way." |

Theirs for a couple of days- the sentence made him grin. Yes, he did feel a bit guilty with having to leave Jett and Belle with Ella's sisters but he knew that they weren't going to be much trouble. Yes, Belle was still going through her even-more-spoiled phase but it was only for a few days and they would have company while they were there. That was one of the things about having so many children in the family- the kids would always have company of some sort. "You picked the clothing?" he asked with a wiggle of his eyebrow, insinuating that that wasn't probably the smartest of ideas. He was kidding of course, just joking around, because that's what he did; he teased. It was fun. However, he was a bit inclined into going into the closer to inspect it. "Of course not," he commented with a small grin as he cupped her face and kissed her again. He was glad for a chance to be alone with her, because Merlin knew that with the whole moving into the new house and taking care of the girls didn't exactly leave much time for them. "So what should we do first?" |

"Was there even anything bad to choose from?" Ella retorted with. Not a single bad choice available that was for sure. Besides, by now she knew what was the favorite pieces and what wasn't of his and her own was obviously easy to pick. Of course it was a matter of finding it some amongst the boxes, but she had Belle's help with that. "I think we should go down by the water. It's too nice out to stay inside." Was it so bad too that she wanted to go out and do stuff before she couldn't? That whole bed rest sentence seemed to be a little closer than she cared for, and although it'd be for the good in the end, she still didn't like it one bit. Thankfully it was one of those good days where she didn't feel bad, and hopefully it stayed that way for the whole couple of days they were there. |

Nodding in agreement to Ella's question, he still replied with, "I'm sure if anyone would have been able to find something it would have been you." He wasn't sure if he meant that as a compliment or an insult...no, it was a compliment and a true one at that. It just showed that she was capable, extremely capable. Then again he knew that already; it was one of the many qualities of her that he found pretty admirable, amazing and most of the times just downright hot. Ella had such a tendency to read his mind, it was actually kind of scary. Then again, it was no secret that he loved the water, as he loved the sand, no matter how much of a pain it was to get sand out of everywhere. He was prone to getting sand in places that sand should never be. But he didn't mind it- he grew up with it. "I think that's just an excuse for you to take my shirt off," he teased. |

"Oh you know me too well," Ella teased back. Hey her swimming skills had gotten better as it was, but then again she wasn't sure how easy swimming would be before long. Didn't that suck? She was also going to throw a t-shirt over her swimsuit of course, and she wasn't changing her mind on that one. Self-conscious? Definitely. Who could blame her? But she was curious, "Am I allowed to pick out my beach wear or is that your job?" She grinned as she asked, having had a couple times before when he had opted for picking something out. Made it more interesting. Whatever it was though she was throwing one of his t-shirts over it if she could even get away with it. |

Brad grinned, delighted at all the teasing that was taking place. Truth be told, it wasn't a new thing with them and that was obvious to anyone who had spent more than two minutes with them. They weren't exactly shy about comments; well, Brad wasn't and he was slowly but surely influencing Ella with confidence....at times, maybe. Well, she surprised him anyways. Of course, his mouth tended to remain closed with comments when male members of Ella's family were present. At the question of whether or not he wanted to pick out her swimwear, Brad grinned. He was tempted, very tempted, to do so but he didn't want to make Ella feel awkward because of his one-track mind despite it all. "Actually, I wouldn't mind being surprised today." Picking out his own swim trunks wasn't going to be difficult at all, after all there were just shorts. Reluctantly he had to leave Ella's side to find some. Not something he liked, even though it was necessary. |

See, she could be happy about the babies but not be happy about the fact a lot of cloths were beginning to get tight. Swimsuits were another story. She was just fully beliving it wouldn't look good even though she knew Brad would argue that. She had the gold one that she loved, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to use her t-shirt idea. Ella hid it in the t-shirt she grabbed as she went to get changed. 'Being surprised'. Well not to totally crush but that she was going to at least attempt to get away with having the t-shirt over the swimsuit. As such she didn't make any sort of statement when she left the adjacent bathroom and stood in the doorway, arms crossed. "Find yours?" she asked a moment after. She wasn't the best at packing so it was more of a mess than anything. But hey a mess where she knew things were. Just unfortunately for him maybe it wasn't that easy. |

Did Brad have shame? No, he had no shame. He was actually quite shameless and lacked normal inhibitions that people had. He would have to be, to do even half of the things he did on a normal basis. Not to mention the random and eccentric stunts like running around in the Trevi fountain naked. So his shirt and pants were gone, thrown carelessly somewhere in the room before he even reached the closet. Going through his clothes wasn't that difficult- shirts, pants, underwear, it was all pretty straightforward. He found the simple green swim trunks and put them on. "Yep," he answered, as he turned around, closing the closet doors before turning around. He immediately tutted in disapproval. "You know, I actually love you wearing one of my shirts. Not when you're wearing a swim suit underneath. Shirt. off. now," he explained, snapping his fingers jokingly twice as he grinned and walked to her, trying to uncross her arms. He kissed her neck softly and told her, "Baby, you can't get shy on me now." |

"Not around I'm not shy, but there are other people out there," Ella told him. The way it sounded was almost amusing for sure, and he was definitely trying to win the argument. She'd of course fight it though just for the sake of the situation. With a grin she let him move her arms away, but she didn't budge to take the shirt off. "Nope. You want it off, you get it off." |

Brad understood her logic of course, but that didn't mean the same logic applied to him. "Don't pay attention to them then," he advised with grin. After all, Europeans, all kinds of Europeans were the most liberal beings he knew. You could walk around naked at a beach and they wouldn't give a damn. So what was so bad about just wearing a swimsuit? Nothing at all in his book, in Ella's well it was different. "You make it sound like a chore," he said after a slight scoff. He was back to grinning naturally of course, as he began to unbutton all the buttons of the shirt, in a teasing way that was only natural of him while he kept kissing her neck. Once all the buttons were off, he proceeded to open the shirt, looking down to see the swimsuit she'd chosen; he smirked. "Gold looks amazing on you, have I told you that?" |

One track mind. Then again she was beginning to be the same way but if they wanted to make it to the beach then then she'd have to be the one to neglect the teasing. At his comment she rolled her eyes, lightly smacking his chest. "Flattery will get you nowhere." Maybe she was overreacting just a little about covering up, but she didn't think so. Not entirely anyways. "I get to wear it till we get to the water though. Deal?" That seemed reasonable enough and she was willing to bargain about it. Besides, the beach was distraction enough and she wouldn't even bothering worrying about it then. Right now she just wanted to get there. Not awaiting a answer she tugged the shirt closed, neglecting the buttons, and started out of their room; giving him a few steps to catch up with. "My swimming skills have improved you know. Just a little." |

"Well it got me somewhere last night," he replied simply, a devilish grin on his face. Some part of his brain, he was sure, knew the fact that his actions weren't exactly helping them get to the actual water but he wasn't focused on that on the moment. He just had a thing for getting distracted, but who could blame him? He sighed in defeat, deciding that it was best not to argue with her. And after thinking about it, he was sure that he didn't want anyone looking at her anyways. Placing one final kiss on her neck, he backed away, not liking it one bit and merely watched her walk out of the door, licking his lips once before following her out, closing the door behind him. Jogging a bit to catch up to her, he laughed at her comment and then teased, "Really? So you won't drown now?" |

Ella merely laughed at his comment as she was leaving. It was good to have the simple teasing comments back, but with everything else going on lately it was difficult to. Definitely another reason this was a good idea. "In my defense I haven't drowned once." All the beach trips had helped that was for sure, and just in general she had learned. Swimming wasn't hard, she was just paranoid. "Oh and you know like with the whole rock border thing around the beach that goes back up to the hotel? People climb that all the time even though their not allowed so I want to try it. It's not even as steep as it looks." Was she going to let much of anything stop her? Of course not. |

"In your offense, however," he started to say even though he wasn't sure whether or not offense was the right word to use even though it was the opposite of defense, "That was because you weren't swimming alone." Merlin only knew the trouble she might have gotten into if not for whoever she was swimming with. For obvious reasons, he only thought about the instances where he was involved and none else. He did admit to being a jealous creature from the start. Her other comment though, had him arching an eyebrow immediately. "You mean the dangerously perilous rock border that you will absolutely not try and climb?" he corrected, shaking his head as his lips twitched in amusement. What part of her being pregnant did she not understand. He couldn't save her all the time. Especially when it dealt with rocks and falling. "I'm sorry to say hun, but poised and balanced you are not," he commented teasingly, not meaning to insult of course. |

"I'm so going to prove you wrong." And hopefully she didn't eat her words and manage to nearly drown. It wasn't even as hard as it looked and she had only almost drowned once and Brad was there then anyways. Stopping and turning to face him she folded her arms. "Oh come on, you know you want to try it too," Ella argued. "Is this a backwards situation where I'm the brave one and you're the cautious one?" Maybe it wasn't the best choice, but it could be fun. More fun if she wasn't carrying three babies and had to be even more careful. Hell, carrying anything that was overly heavy was a pain--literally--as it was. Did that deter her away? Absolutely not. "If you don't want me to-" she started, turning back around and walking a bit quicker toward the doors to get outside. "You'll have to catch me." It was a failed statement at best since she had a feeling he could easily catch her, but she'd make a game out of it regardless. |

Brad let out a single laugh as Ella told him that he was going to prove him wrong. He was teasing of course because he really did hope that Ella wouldn't drown but he as her husband was obligated to provide the challenge in order for her to succeed. Yes, he was aware that sounded like a lot of bullshit, probably because it was. In all honesty, he just wanted to defy her, because it was a lot more fun that way and it was all about the fun after all. Brad smirked in amusement as Ella turned to him with a disapproving expression on her face. His feisty red-head was as feisty as ever, apparently. Glad to know that at least some things never changed- he would always be amused by it. "I do want to try it," he admitted to both of them, not arguing with her on that point. "No, this is a backwards situation when you're the foolish one and I'm the smart one," he corrected with a grin. That was a far more backwards situation than any other. Especially because Brad had a tendency to act on whims but the fact remained she was pregnant and clumsy- not a good combination. As she proceeded to 'run away from him' Brad grinned in amusement, allowing her a five second head start before he simply jogged to her, passed her and leaned against the doors that led to the outside to stop her. "You were saying?" he questioned, a smirk on his face. |

"Ha, see, I'm the one with the sense of adventure this time. Besides, it would be completely unfair if you climbed it and I was stuck not being allowed to." Ella hadn't expected her 'catch me' attempt to work, but it had worked a lot less than she assumed. Smiling, amused, as he blocked the doors, she put her hands on his hips as she leaned close. "I was saying I was going to climb the rock wall, whatever it is, and you're going to let me," she told him, her voice more of a whisper. Playing dirty never hurt anyone. "You know why?" |

"Life's not fair, Els," he reminded her with a grin as she complained about it being unfair for her not to climb it while he did. What a stubborn woman; sure, now she wanted to try something new and exciting. This couldn't even be called bad timing for like...recklessness. He would have been the first one to encourage climbing the rock, he would have promised Ella he wouldn't have let her fall but the fact was that she was fifteen weeks pregnant and this had bad idea written all over it. So because of his newly found responsibility he was going to seem like an old geezer. Brad's smirk grew wider as Ella put her hands on his hips and began to talk quietly and slowly. He was amused, very amused, and he had to remind himself that no matter what, he couldn't let her climb that rock wall. Though, knowing his self-restraint and self-control...oh boy. With a raised eyebrow and his smirk still in place he went along with the game, "Why?" he asked. |
