The Basics: Name: Tracie Margaret Brynd Nickname: It’s just Tracie Birthdate: September 23rd, 1991 Birthplace: St. Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries Work/Schooling: Seven years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, now Auror training. Family: Both are muggle-born wizards Mother: Daniele Marie Brynd, she’s a little weird. She works as a money-counter for Gringotts. She’s just, strange. Father: Mytch Carl Brynd, probably the biggest nerd in his year at Hogwarts. He works in the Broom Regulatory Control at the Ministry. Siblings: Tracie has twin older sisters, Selena Mae and Raven Celeste, and an even older sister Celina (Cha-lee-na) Bunz. Extended Family: Tracie doesn’t know any of them, because her parents never talk to them any more Home: she still technically lives at home, but has a flat near the Ministry that she stays at during the week. About the character Appearance: [hair] Tracie’s hair stands out. Long, down to her mid-back, it’s a bright fiery red. Some call it orange, but technically, it’s just really really red. It flows whatever way it wants to, normally just a light wave running through it. [eyes] Her eyes are so light, they’re almost white. But they’re green, and she loves them, so she doesn’t wear too much makeup. [complexion] Tracie was graced with a lack of acne, but she is really pale. No, she’s not sick, she’s just white. [build] Petite. Tracie is 5’2’’ and 110 lbs, so she’s small. For her it’s just about eating right, which is something she holds herself to. Strengths: Tracie’s biggest strength is her brain, hands down. Her smarts is what she has going for her, probably the only thing she has going for her. Well, that, and her serious dedication, willpower, and perseverance. Weaknesses: Tracie can’t make friends. Everything she thinks comes out of her mouth, so she has no filter. People hate her. She also overanalyzes things, and over exaggerates everything she does. Also, she can’t really talk in front of crowds, she gets really bad stage fright. Personality: (1 paragraph+) Tracie is a nerd, a geek, and socially inept. She can be really sweet if you know her, but you probably won’t get to because she makes terrible first impressions. Most people only like her for her brain, her biggest asset. As much as she tries to fit in, she just doesn’t know how. She wasn’t taught how to when she was little and that affected her. Her voice is naturally loud, and she uses it to shut people up. Tracie isn’t so much a leader as she just knows what to do so people follow her. She doesn’t know how to be a leader, she doesn’t really know how to be a friend. She’s got the book smarts, but none of the social smarts Hobbies: Reading, studying Pet: none Wand: 10 ½ inch willow School: Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw Short History of The Character: (minimum 2 paragraphs) Tracie grew up in a normal magical family. Her parents were both muggle-born, but they completely let go of everything non-magical, including their families. Tracie doesn’t know any of her aunts, her uncles, or if she even has cousins. Her parents were not very popular at school either, so she didn’t have any other kids to play with as a kid. She always knew she was going to Hogwarts. Magic was in her blood. Both of Tracie’s parents pushed academics, as they were both smart, so Tracie started studying about magic before she went to school. When she was eleven and went to school, her immediate label was ‘nerd’. She was always the one to cheat off of and always knew the answer to everything. Studying was a scapegoat; she was really shy and didn’t really understand the making-friends situation. So she didn’t ever make any. Tracie stayed on the fringe of the Hogwarts crowd. Tracie was top in her class academically, for all seven years she studied harder than anyone. Around her fifth year, her professors and a lot of her classmates started telling her she should be an Auror. She hadn’t really thought about her future much before, but when she graduated, she went out into the world with no job lined up. After a couple months of deciding, she took her strong academic résumé to the Auror office. Training started two weeks later. She has no idea if she’s cut out for this, but her brains tell her this is the best option, so she’s going for it. Primary Character: Adelaide Harrington |
