The dining hall is made up of mostly whites and light blues, and a chandile hangs overhead with an almost golden tint to it from the sunlight that comes through the many windows. In here there is also two swinging metal doors that lead to the galley, but it's best not to bother the cooks. There are many tables with four chairs at each, and the room is lit by large latern like lights that hang from the ceiling and then the chandiler itself. |

Keels, the second she was on the boat, had run to her room and dumped her stuff in there, changing into her dress, and grabbing her notebook. She didn't want to be burdened while she was exploring by her baggage, but she didn't want to leave her notebook just laying around. It wasn't for anyone's eyes but her own. So she was suddenly grateful that she had it when she heard the captain say all there stuff was taken away. She wanted to go ask him why, so she had wandered up to first class and onto the bridge, skipping along with her dress bottom bunched in one hand so she didn't trip, her notebook clutched to her chest as she headed over the bridge. She'd already peeked in any unclosed rooms, checked out the lounges, ran all over the deck; she was the only kid there that she had seen as of yet. But when she heard the orders, she spun on her toes and dashed in the opposite direction; she could meet the Captain later, and she was hungry. Sitting still would be an issue, but when she saw how many tables there were, she stopped moving, and tried to decide which one to sit at. Eenie...meenie... Juls hadn't taken much time to be ready for the dinner. Her dress was one of the ones she had gotten from someone at Christmas (who knew?) but she'd never worn it, before. Entering the dining hall, she sat down at a table closest to the windows, tucking her feet underneath her. Heels just wouldn't work really well with rocking boats, so she decided not to put them on. Her attention was on the window, but she was waiting for more people to show up. |

Dante slipped into the dinning hall with a pair of black dress pants on and a simple white shirt to match. He didn't like dressing up all that much, but he had no choice did he? He looked at the tables but kept looking ahead at them as he contemplated which one. He was curious however as he saw someone who looked much much younger than anyone he had seen on the ship yet. That curiosity led him to talk over and actually say something. "Hey. I'm Dante," he introduced, figuring that would put her more at ease. "Do you want to sit with me?" |

Em had gone to her room and gotten changed into her dress. No one had been in there at the time, but she knew she was rooming with someone... She just wasn't sure who it was yet. She'd wanted to look nicer, but without a wand or a way to do her hair, she just had to deal with it down and straight. It didn't matter much, though, because she still looked good. The dining hall was huge, and there were so many tables to choose from. She was extremely indecisive when it came to things that honestly didn't even matter, she realized, still scanning the room. Finally, she just pulled a chair out from a random table and sat down. It didn't matter. It was just a table. They were all the same. |

Keels had just finished her little choosing game when she was spoken to, and she smiled brightly at the guy, holding out her hand as she answered, "I'm Keeley." Well he didn't offer his last name, so she figured she didn't have to either. And since he said she could sit with him, she nodded, and then pointed to the table she'd "eenie-meenie'd' just a moment ago. "That one?" The question was more of a suggestion and she was already heading over there, spinning for him for a minute so she could ask, "Do you like my dress? I do. It's all long and flowy. So when I spin -" She demonstrated again, "It does that." |

If Phin hated anything the most it was dressing up. It was dinner. Who did that? He didn't see how he had to anyways. Instead he was dressed in what he came in and that suited him just fine. After finding a table at the far back he sat down and simply watched as people started to come in. |

"Nice to meet you." Dante followed where Keels had pointed to after shaking her hand, and simply nodded. It was just a table like all the rest of them. As she went on to next point out her dress he smiled. "Very pretty." He pulled out Keeley's chair first and then took a seat himself as he reached the table. He honestly felt more comfortable seated at this point. |

Somehow - and Cat was rather convinced it was a work of pure genius on her part - she had managed to get ready without her wand or any styling product at all. But her hair was done nicely (as it always was), so she left it mostly down, thank Merlin having had a couple of pins in her pocket to pull it up into some half-up do. Her dress was simple and white, and all she had to wear with it was her engagement ring and the hoop earrings she had worn onto the ship. At least they had left her dinner shoes - strappy heels that matched her dress which she was quite sure she would want off by the end of the night. Looking around, she tried to figure out where to sit. Her fiance wasn't there, so she figured it would be most socially acceptable to sit with a woman. Her eyes landing on a well-dressed woman who had already sat down (Emery), she went to the seat across the table from her. "Excuse me?" she asked politely. "Is this seat taken?" |

Alessa managed to stop bouncing when she moved to the dining hall. The fact that her stuff was gone didn`t bother her at all - she had a free trip with a ship! She just couldn`t understand how did that happen. But it did, she was on the boat and everything was pretty much great. Brushing her hand down her dressed she chose the first table she saw and moved to it. She actually didn`t even notice if people were sitting by it or not when she plopped down. Amazing. |

Once Ella had heard the announcement she literally ran from the third class hallway to get there. Her pace slowed as soon as she reached the room however and she kept her eyes on the floor and her hair around her face as she went in. She didn't want to be noticed. A fact that equaled her in actually having put on a dress even if she hated it. Ella found a table where no one was sitting and sat down with her chair pulled in as far as she could get it, and she still didn't look up at anyone unless she glanced for just a moment. |

Amaris was both shocked and annoyed at the Captain by the time she had made her way to the dining hall. First, their luggage. Entirely gone, all except her evening dress. At least it was actually the one that she liked (she had packed two just in case her mood changed). However, the only shoes that were left were her black heels. Heels on a ship, she was most likely doomed to fall. And the second thing that annoyed her was that they absolutely had to come to this dining hall. What was up with that? She had entered the dining hall but there really weren't that many people there. Not really wanting to be social, Edited by Amaris Tudor, Jun 13 2009, 12:43 AM.

Well, this was wonderful. The only person she knew was Juls, and she was across the room from her. She didn't feel like moving tables, though. That would just be annoying. So, she'd have to make due with where she was. Em looked up as she heard someone talk to her. She figured she may as well try to be social, and the woman speaking obviously had good fashion sense, so she shook her head. "No, go ahead, you can sit there," she said, with a smile. It was really weird to try to be polite. "I'm Emery, by the way." She figured a little introduction wouldn't hurt, especially if they were going to be eating together. |

Keels grinned when he agreed with her that her dress was pretty, and she (though, because she was so tiny, had to basically climb up onto the chair) thanked him for pulling it out and pushing it in for her. The room felt a little strange to her, a little awkward, as many people were trying...not, to sit with anyone else? She saw her cousin, and there was one woman that seemed a little skittish, but she took a deep breath and just attempted to ignore it all to keep up her usual bouncy attitude. "I wonder what we're eating." Keels said, bringing her attention back to Dante with her typical smile. |

Jen fidgeted in the dress she had on because she hated it. Ugh. Stupid dress. Stupid ship. She wasn't without a pair of converse though because heels? Yeah right. As she walked in she went to a table where there wasn't much of anyone except the one person (Amaris). "Mind if I sit here?" |

So far, no one had joined her in her room. Whether that meant she had a cabin mate or not, she wasn't sure but she quickly changed from her dock outfit to her evening dress, teasing out her wavy ahir and slipping on her shoes. Then hurrying from the third class rooms, made her way to the dining-hall. Already, several were seated and Emma recognized a couple of familiar faces. Settling herself at an empty table, she wondered what the evening would entail... and what they were serving for dinner. She was starving. |

"I'm sure it'll be a good surprise," Dante said to Keeley, though he was looking around the room to see all who was there. He knew a few faces but he wasn't interested in conversations with any of them. Sitting where he was was good enough at the moment. |

After Mark had changed for dinner - a tan suit with a gray button-up underneath (no tie, thank Merlin) - he headed to the dining room. The decoration was rather impressive, he had to say, and he looked around for somewhere to sit. His first instinct was a table in the corner to better observe, but then he figured he might as well sit with someone to talk to. After all, if he was writing a story on it? He would need to interview, wouldn't he? Spotting a brunette woman he had seen during the Virus plot, he headed over to her. "Hi. Emma, right?" he asked, recalling her name. "Mind if I sit with you? I don't know too many people on board." |

Cat smiled back at the other woman. "Catalina Silverhawk," she introduced herself, extending her hand. "But you can call me Cat." She had to say that she was feeling just a tiny bit better about the whole trip because of how nicely decorated the dining area was. But she was stll upset about being in third class. She hoped the food was worthy of eating. Making polite conversation, she asked, "So how are you enjoying the ship so far? I mean... other than the fact that someone stole all of our clothes, of course," she added, just a hint of irritation seeping into her otherwise pleasant tone. |

Amaris, who was just looking around at the people entering and the people already seated, didn't notice when another woman had approached the table in which she was seated. Amaris looked up and, reminding herself to be polite, smiled at the woman and shook her head, "I don't mind at all. Sit down." Maybe that was just overly friendly, but whatever, it was too late now. Not wanting to just go back to not talking, she just introduced herself. "My name is Amaris and I'm quite hopeless at small talk." she held out her hand for Jen to shake, after laughing nervously at herself. |
