So you want to enjoy some fresh air? Here you can stand at the long metal, railing and look out at the water or maybe you'd just like to take a walk? There are a few assorted chairs for those who want to sit down of course too. |

Em walked down the hallway with Juls until they reached the deck. She leaned her back against the railing and sighed. "The Order HQ is so boring," Em muttered, though the Den probably was even less exciting. Except for when Jake was around, even though he was pretty boring himself, too. "France, really? That's awesome. I totally want to go there once, like, to go shopping or something." Em grinned. There was no way this day could be ruined. Honestly. It was just too perfect. Jake, Juls, cruise ship, talking about shopping in France. Perfect. "I'm supposed to be going to Aruba with Jake in a week, I think..." Which would be totally awesome. "That sucks," she said. "I'm in first class, but in room twenty-three... Well, at least we're right down the hall, I guess." That irritated her. She was probably going to end up rooming with some annoying guy with bad hair that didn't shower or something. |

"It is." Juls easily agreed. "But it's not so much different as the Den, right now. Both are quiet and empty." Even though the boat wasn't moving yet, they were still over water, and Juls climbed up to sit on the railing, looking down at the dark, fathomless water. The sun hadn't gone down yet, but it was already becoming evening. "It's a lot of fun. I came from there, you know? But I'd never been to the Eiffel Tower, so we went there and then there's this really good restaurant on level one...I got this letter before we actually got to do any shopping though." When she said she was going to Aruba with Jake, Juls just arched her eyebrow and said, "Well that sounds fun." Figuring out where they were was slightly disappointing, but Juls just shrugged; no one spent a lot of time in their rooms for these kinds of things anyways, right? |

Em blinked. "We?" she asked. "Juls, do you have a secret boyfriend you're not telling us about? I need details." She grinned; that would be awesome. Unfortunately, her detail needing and excitement was cut short as a voice came over the speaker. "Wait, wait, so does that mean... we seriously don't have any clothes?" Instant panic mode. "I brought my best outfit, damn it!" she exclaimed, groaning at the thought of having to wear what someone else picked out. "I guess we get ready for dinner now..." |

"He's not a secret, and he's not my boyfriend." Juls answered Emery after a moment of hesitation. They weren't anything, really. She was not eager to put titles on anything. It was the fastest way for everything to disappear again. However, the announcement made her frown, and she groaned, "I'm short on clothes to begin with, damnit..." Emery's panick about it just served to keep her from getting too upset though, because the boat only needed one freaking wolf. "Maybe it's our own dinner clothes." Juls responded, "Because I really doubt they would have picked out something for us to wear. If they knew everyone's size..." Well that would creep her out. |

Em just shrugged off Juls's lack of details. Oh well. She didn't have to say anything if she didn't want to. "I'll take you shopping when we get off this thing," she offered Juls, then sighed. "It had better be... Anyway, to the rooms, then to the dining hall, I guess... Meet you there?" She wasn't looking forward to this anymore, and she reluctantly turned and made her way off the deck to find her room. Well, at least they could sit by whoever for dinner. |

Juls grinned when she only felt the usual amused feeling with Emery and shopping. It used to be the very thought of it turned her into a mess, but as it was, she had more reason to care, even a little bit, about her appearance. And honestly? She did need clothes. The Captain's orders were added to the original ones, and Juls nodded at Em as she made her way to her own room. |

There was at least one person who felt that getting some fresh air was a good idea. It was nice and relaxing to just stand at the railing and try to think things over. There were footsteps but they were neglected. A moment later and they couldn't be ignored. There was exchanged looks of anger and then absolute fear. One of them never saw this coming, and one of them wish it could have been another way. A struggle ensued, but it was obvious one was much taller than the other. Though it was hopeless one fought back while the other never relented on their attack. After a moment there was silence. Nothing but the strained breathing and then.... The water splashed as a body hit it and a scream sounded in the air before hand. The attacker stared into the water with a almost sad look but it was done and now the attacker felt almost sorry. The little bit of extra weight on our attackers victim had made it a bit more difficult than the attacker realized. Knowing that the scream was like an instant call for anyone, the attacker turned and stalked away. The intercom beeped twice a few minutes later before white noise was heard. It almost sounded like a background voice in someone's conversation, but it was loud enough to be heard. "Day two and already you all have seen your fair share of death. Have you heard the commotion though? Be the first to correctly identify the person whom has been so wrongfully rejected from our ship, and you'll find yourself in possession of something that may very well save a life. So what do you say? Do you want to play? Write your answers on the paper provided in the dinning hall, but remember--be the first or you'll receive nothing. Don't worry, I'm watching..." [PM your guesses to The Captain, you'll have fifteen minutes; time stops when the correct answer has been given by the first person] |

Dante paced the hallways and he paced around several of the decks but he came here and slumped to sit on the floor. Automatically his hands were over his ears. Just breathe....in and out....it was simple and yet it wasn't. "Go away. Go away." He didn't move at all. He sat there just like that with his back to the railing and his eyes focused on the floor he was sitting on. |

Throwing people overboard. Merlin, when she thought about doing that just a couple of hours earlier she was only joking! And now here she was, walking down the stairs from the lounge, deciding that she had had enough of just sitting down and being even more useless. Then again she wasn't sure what in reality she could do, but she whatever it was that was happening, she was letting everyone know she would do anything to help. Once she reached the deck she looked over it to the water below. Wow that was high. She immediately stepped back, shaking her head in hopes of clearing it. She didn't bother interfering with the man; it was just not in her nature to be comforting or whatever. So she just looked around thinking 'Now what?' Edited by Amaris Tudor, Jun 14 2009, 12:49 AM.

Juls walked onto the deck and immediately went over to the railing, seeing how far it was down. And then she just yelled, "EVERYONE CAPABLE OF PULLING GET UP HERE NOW." Then she started pacing, keeping her eyes peeled for the other girl, waiting for Tayn to somehow get up here. Hurry up...hurry up... When she saw Dante though, she frowned a little bit. "Are you... okay?" He didn't look okay... |

Juls' yelling honestly made it worse. Dante pressed his hands harder on his ears and continued the little mantra to himself. People didn't need to be here. It was a lost cause. Damnit. There was something strange in his eyes however as he remained sitting there and didn't answer the question. He almost snapped out a quick 'don't talk to me', but didn't. Silence was golden. |

At the shouted words, Amaris immediately turned her head to the origin of the sound. 'Capable of pulling'? Amaris wasn't exactly the best person for that, she once again mentally cursed her rather lack of upper body strength and just walked hurriedly to the other woman, being wary of the rather distressed man. She addressed the previously yelling woman after she was done talking to the distressed looking man. "I can help" and that's all she said. No time for funny business or any pish-posh. Time was of the essense. |

Andy climbed slowly up the stairs, and when she had found out it as Ella that had been thrown overboard, she was eager to help. Ella had done so much for her over the years, she owed this to the younger girl. "May I pose some logistical questions? Why are we up here? if we were down on the third class deck, it'd take less rope and theres more area for us to hoist. And there's less chance of the mutt getting hurt of course." She pointed out nonchalantly. |

While running this time, Tanya kicked her heels off. It was honestly only because of the broken glass and...other things, in the cargo hold that she'd been running in them before. She also was winding the long rope around her shoulder as she went up-- preparing to pro-offer it. Her heart was literally pounding in her chest. Moments like this were kind of like a black hole. No matter what you cling to, you end up getting sucked in. As she reached the top of the deck, her bare feet clinging to the cold metal floors as hard as she could--her hand was still closed around that cool vial as though it was clutched with the jaws of life. Right now, however, she wrenched her grip free, put the vial carefully in her purse with the other mess of things, and looked over at Juls, holding out the rope. Tanya was sure as hell not diving, but she knew how to tie a pretty good damn knot. Hearing Andy however, she paused and said simply, "...I agree. But the longer we wait.." She looked at Juls-- the one diving, as agreed. "It's up to you." Edited by Tanya Swann, Jun 14 2009, 01:27 AM.

Tayn finally came back up - okay, finally, it wasn't that long but it felt like bloody forever - and she stopped talking to the man in order to run over to her. Andy's comment just made her back stiffen, and she glanced around her for a moment at who'd be pulling them up. For a minute, she closed her eyes, and then looped the rope around her torso, over a shoulder, and finally had Tayn tie it with a 'devil's tongue' knot. It was secure, and she simply growled at Andy, the lilt of an accent coming back into her voice as it only did when she was angry. "The mutt can handle it." Mutt. Werewolves were a bit more durable than humans, and she secured her dress, stepped back a few steps, and just vaulted over the railing, diving into air. It would take a minute for her to hit the water, but she had a general idea of where she'd last seen Ella. If they could just pull her up to at least the third-floor deck, she could pull them over the railing. |

Amaris partially agreed with the woman (Andy), they would be better off in the third and lowest deck but really they had absolutely no time to run downstairs, as the healer woman had already expressed out loud. When she gave Juls the rope, Amaris flinched once again at how horribly long of a fall it was going to be. And yet, she would rather be the one diving, thereby she and her upper body strength wouldn't be responsible for the lives of two women. After Juls had been secured in the hope, Amaris watched as she basically sprang out and dived into the water. With a quiet curse, Amaris tried to gather up some unknown strength from deep inside her bodice. She was definitely working out more as soon as she got out of this ship. If they got out of this alive that is. . . |

It's a lucky thing miss Baptiste is attached by that rope because leaving the ship on your own accord? Oh no no. That is not allowed. Of course consequences for such a thing existed, but the rope was like her lifeline. How very lucky. Poor Ella Davis had no ability to swim and it was truly the fact she didn't want to die that had her making small attempts. Small being because she had already been knocked out upon initial impact with the water, and she was still losing consciousness in little bouts even when she came to. All those broken bones...and what about the baby? Had the attacker not considered this? No no the attacker had. That poor dear must be a wreck... At least miss Baptiste got to her now; It was just a matter of getting out of the water... |

Mark was being very quiet, observing what was going on and then simply offering to help as well. He nodded to Andy, took a place on the rope line, and then backed up. Shouldn't they tie an anchor somehow? A mast or something, there had to be one around here... Still, he kept his feet as firmly planted as possible and stayed behind Andy and Amaris, trying to add as much force as he could to pull them up. He was actually kind of surprisingly strong. Or maybe that was the adrenaline. But on cue, he began to pull as hard as he could with the other two, seeing Tanya over at the railing signal. Edited by Mark Harris, Jun 14 2009, 02:21 AM.

Amaris was glad that someone else had arrived and, even if it was stereotypical and old-fashioned, she was glad that someone happened to be male? They were supposed to be genetically more physically strong right? Well it was time to prove that. Amaris planted her feet firmly, as best she could anyways what with a couple of unknown sharp residues still implanted into the sole of her feet, and managed to call forth on her unused strength. She kept pulling and tugging up on the rope, her brow slightly wrinkled in strain and concentration. She just hoped that this rope hadn't been worn down previously because the last thing they needed right now was for it to snap. |
