Harm took the menu she was offered, and after he gestured that she should order first, she asked to try the Pomerol, in the mood to be a little adventurous. As a vampire, anyways, she liked the full-bodied wines better, liking the richer, thicker taste much more. The actual menu was interesting though, because half of it wasn't something she could understand. There were not pictures either, because it was a nice restaurant, and Harm grinned a little as she looked up at Dante and said, "You might just have to order for me. I'm not...quite sure what a lot of this is." |

Assumption proved right, Dante put his menu down and he went and stood beside Harm so he could point out what some stuff was. Some he got and some he had absolutely no idea. Best to go with what he did know or who knew what the other stuff was. "Alright, see this?" He pointed at half way down a list on the left. One at least stood out as familiar. Or well familiar enough to know what it was well enough. "It's pasta. Like...spaghetti. Just a little different. This-" He pointed to another, assuming maybe she understood that one but pointing it out anyways. "Is just a fancy word for chicken." Why there was so many different words for everything just seemed overly complicated. There were probably other tourists had had their trouble figuring out what was what, but then again figuring it out could be fun; except for being careful on what you ordered on accident. |

Harm smiled when Dante came over to help her out, and she followed his finger down the menu, nodding when he started explaining. The pasta that he had pointed out sounded good; the chicken did not. Because of being a vampire and trying for so long to just eat off of animals, chicken blood had been a staple. She hated the taste and it was what she would think about while eating the actual meat. Therefore, noodles were safe. And yummy. "Alright...what do you think you'll be getting? I think that... Penne alla Puttanesca? That you pointed out sounds good." Fine dining, this was definitely an experience she'd not had frequently. |

Will had gotten an owl from his sister, not that he had been surprised, he was kind of waiting for one. He hadn't told Lara what happened because she would freak out, he knew she would, especially since he was not giving his sister up to the Aurors. Yea, he understood the whole aiding and abetting a criminal could get him time, but family was more important. That, and Andy would murder him if she found out he sold her out. She was very specific in her instructions, where they were to meet, and what time. He found it funny, when Aurors in the UK were looking for her, and she had fled the country. They knew her house was empty, other than his and Carter's occasional visits to tend to the home. The one thing that did surprise him though was that she wanted the meeting in broad daylight in public. Albeit when he told Carter about the letter and their instructions, Carter informed him that Andy chose a good place to blend in, it was a muggle area and if Wizards were looking for her, they wouldn't risk exposure to capture her. Here, they sat in a small park waiting for their sister, both of them had questions to ask, but they were ready for whatever she had waiting for them. |
![]() Thanks to ANNA for the awesome sig! 5 Reasons I should accept Lara and the baby: 1) I am madly in love with her still 2) It is my baby after all 3) I am willing to pay child support, so why not go one step further and be a dad to the baby? 4) I am hurting Lara more than helping her 5) Did I mention I am madly in love with her and she is always on my mind? | |

Andy approached her brothers with teary eyes and a greatful smile. She knew it was a huge risk doing this, and being in public, but the kids needed to be at home, and with Ryou. There was absolutely no way she would hurt her own children, she was just afraid of what they would see. Alfie and Max already asked about the dishes that broke and she said it was because they slipped from Julianna's hands wile she was washing the dishes, but eveyone was okay. As they were leaving the house, Alfie made her wait, and the boys ran into the kitchen and threw themselves on Julianna for a hug. Andy looked at her darkly as the other woman hesitantly hugged the boys. When leaving all the kids had their own backpacks, made with the charm to make them possible to store as much as possible in them. They set out on their adventure. With the girls in their tandem stroller and the boys all holding hands, she brought them to the specific intersection she told Will to bring Carter to. When she finally found her brothers, she pursed her lips, they weren't where she told them to go, but she supposed it was okay. "You can come back once the kids are with Ryou. Make sure to let Kevin know they are back in the country and they are safe. Not a single hair has been touched, and they've been happy here." She said firmly, but honestly. |

Carter grabbed the stroller and pulled it closer to him, getting a good look at the girls who were enjoying their day out. Sure, he had troubles tellnig them apart, but he knew the boys would know and they'd be his biggest help. When Annie tried to back out of the conversation, Carter shook his head. "Not this time. We're risking our necks for you, we need a better explanation than the brush off." He said in a harsh tone that made his little sister flinch. He looked at Will who nodded and lead the boys off to play and fool around. This would get him answers without damaging her children's love for her. If anything could push Andy more, it would be if the boys didn't love her like they did now, at this very moment. |

Looking at Carter, watching the boys go, she groaned, there was no excuse anymore to avoid the subject. "I murdered a squib who I thought was Caleb Silverhawk, and I kidnapped someone... I screwed up beyond belief, you don't even need to tell me. But I can't let the boys see me in this trouble. I can't risk if Sebastien leads the Aurors here to me. The last thing I want them to see is me being carted off in handcuffs." She told him, she couldn't even look her big brother in the eyes, she new he was disappointed in her. Catching Alfie's eye, she waved him over. When the little guy reached her, she picked him up and walked to somewhere quiet. "Happy birthday, big guy. I can't believe you're 4 already! I remember when you were just a tiny baby..." She said while sitting down and moving him into her lap. "So you know that you're going to go see daddy, and you need to be the big boy and keep Leo and the girls in line. You and Maxie are in charge." She told him, kissing into his head full of thick black curls. "Mummy, why can't you come home?" Alfie asked, looking sad. "Well..." She started. "I have work to do here, then I will come home and Daddy and I will try and do better. Now, I got you a present, you just have to open it now, because I want to see you open it." She told him, glancing around before pulling a large box from her bag. She watched as Alfie set the box on her lap and he tore into it furiously. Inside the box was a bright red remote control airplane. His face lit up and it caused Andy to choke on tears. If she wanted the perfect last memory of her babies, that was the one to have. Alfie saw his mummy and climbed on the bench again giving her a kiss. "Mummy, don't be sad! I like it! Thank you." He said, petting her hair, exactly how she did to him when he was upset. Andy couldnt help but smile and she gave him a kiss. "I know you love it, I am just happy you do. Get Daddy to help you build it and then when I come home, you can teach me. Okay?" She asked him and he nodded in response. Looking around once more, Andy slid the box into Alfie's backpack and zipped it up tight. Together they walked back to where everyone else was and after saying her goodbyes to everyone, Andy let her brothers take the kids back to Ryou and she set off to safety again. |
