Elsha stood before the great stone structure that beautifully displayed streams of water amongst it's many statue carvings. The Trevi certainly was a wonder to behold. The only thing missing was that a person was supposed to be standing next to her. Where was Peter? she wondered. He was the only person in the world she thought she could count on. Her arm moved across the tattoo on her arm, the one that sometimes burned, the one she had to resist responding to. Peter helped her at times like those. Who could she turn to now? Maybe no one remembered her in England, she thought, suddenly hopeful. Perhaps she could return, open a shop, live a normal life. Without Peter. A silent sob racked through her body. A normal life. Alone. No one to turn to. No one to count on. No one to love. There was another presence; she could feel it. It caressed her weary mind and bleeding heart. It made her feel safe even though she couldn't see who it was. I'll be there for you, it soothed. Let me take care of you. The Trevi Fountain truly was beautiful. But Sita didn't need to enjoy it with anyone. Yes, she longed for the missing presence as Elsha did, but she was used to being alone. Poor little Elsha couldn't survive without people. Sita thrived without them; preferred them to stay away. She had no idea how the woman even came to be with Peter again after what he did. But now Sita was back and she was going to start over. She needed no one. She would look after Elsha where Peter had seemingly abandoned her. Digging into her pocket, the woman felt around for a coin. Grasping the small, circular currency, she about faced and tossed the silver piece over her shoulder. "I wish for a new beginning," she murmured before she heard the plop of the coin falling through the water's surface. A moment later, she disapparated for London. |

It was much later than she figured it was in Italy. Probably some time in the morning? As if she knew. It looked even more beautiful with all the lights against the statues and the way the water looked even more blue than usual, and thankfully security was at a minimum. No doubt because of the late hour. Who would think someone would come around to do something like this anyways? Sitting on the edge she waited for Brad first off, only turning so she could sit with her feet in the water once she took off her shoes. It was only sort of cold but she could put up with it. |

Bradley had apparated to the Trevi fountain immediately after he dashed back inside to get his pack of cigarettes that he had left on the table. His back pocket just felt weird without it there. . .and besides what if a little kid picked it up and started smoking and got himself into the habit because of his stupid mistake? He couldn't just leave it there, for someone to pick up. . .that's what he had convinced himself of anyways. Once in Italy, he just looked at the surroundings for a bit; it really was a pretty brilliant sight. Especially without the tourists. . .and the police officers. At least he had only gotten in, and not tried to deface it by throwing red paint into the water, like some muggle nutter had done a couple of years ago. He only knew that because Franco was a walking/talking/breathing encyclopedia. He took off his jacket, his shoes and his socks and didnt even bother rolling up his jeans, before sitting down next to Ella, his feet in the water as well. "Just so you know, in this case, shoes don't count as an article of clothing. So if you take something off, that doesn't count, unless we were playing strip poker, but that's entirely different case." He teased briefly before taking off his shirt and tossing it at her. "A memento of me." he jokingly explained with a small laugh to accompany it. |

Ella didn't comment about the shoes not counting because she had another way to comment really. Instead she laughed as she caught his shirt and simply tossed it aside. "Didn't think I would need it. I do remember the last fountain visit after-all." So naturally how could she forget this one? Standing up she stepped more into the water but simply so she could be facing Brad but not all too close. She wasn't saying or doing anything on purpose for a few moments, judging his reaction in the silence, but then she pulled her t-shirt over her head. "Does that count?" she asked, tossing it at him as she asked. |

"Well it is a pretty memorable occurence after all." He was pretty sure he had managed to scar at least a dozen of people. But, let's be honest, humans were perverse creatures. They could look away in embarassment or shrug in disgust or whatever but deep down he knew that they appreciated the show. . .well, at least most of them did. Brad was taken a bit by surprise when Ella stood up and took off her shirt. He hadn't actually believed that she would have done so, he was just teasing. After he had managed to lower his eyebrows back down to normal level, he smirked a bit and answered her, "Yes, that counts." before laughing delightedly and catching the shirt, setting it down on the ground where it would remain dry. "Well, if this is going to be round two-" he stood up and started unbuttoning his jeans, "Then I believe there's a bit more fabric I have to get rid of." |

It was probably all the excitement of actually being there that happened to be why she avoided awkward embarrassment over her actions. She could have a bit of fun and do no harm. Maybe anyways. "Good." As for how round two was going to go? She was sincerly amused by it all. "If it's going to be a piece of clothing for a piece of clothing, then there isn't going to be anything left by the end of this," Ella said, managing to do so without laughing, but the grin showed she was close to doing so. Would she take off more? Maybe. Maybe if she really felt like it. |

Bradley could be mistaken, but he didn't remember Ella being that straightforward, or that, for lack of a better word, confident to the point of it being downright provoking. Ah, well eventually all women were like that. Some just stayed in that mindset for a longer time than others. . .some didn't really leave at all. But like he said, he could very well be mistaken; people change over time. And this change, if it was a change, was definitely amusing. Bradley was unbuttoning, unzipping and pulling off his jeans without even the slighest hint of embarassment or hesitation. In fact, his eyes remained on Ella while she talked, a grin still evident on his face. "If only." he stated after a small sigh, before he tossed his jeans out of the fountain. "Women always wear more clothing than men." Men only had one piece of underwear, women had two and wore two (most of the time). "Well, there's my bet. Going to match it?" he asked, not being able to keep a small smirk off his face. Here he was saying that this situation and strip poker were entirely different, but in reality it really wasn't. Not by a lot. |

"You can't have everything you want," Ella told him, dipping her hands into the water to bring them up and splash Brad. "Didn't you know life isn't fair?" Teasing comments were one thing and doing so was another. Maybe if she really felt like it should would have, but the missing shirt was good enough. Technically speaking she had a boyfriend to consider even though she wasn't sure that term fit. Relationships never worked anyways. She just waited for the inevitable end to happen like it always did. It was usually just a matter of time no matter how much she held on. It was a strange thought to have right then and she ignored it because she was actually attempting to have fun. "At least the police haven't come around, but then again nothing has happened that's really police worthy I suppose." |

"Actually, I am quite familiar with that saying, yes." He responded with an amused grin before laughing a bit at being splashed. Fountain, water, right. He splashed her back, with his feet instead, while he laughed along, childishly sticking out his tongue at her. See, he could have fun in an entirely non-sexual manner with a topless woman in a fountain. . .well, actually if he wouldn't be experiencing it for himself he would have disagreed. "Police worthy you say. . ." he rubbed his chin thoughtfully and grinned before snapping the waistband of his boxers, "If you don't mind, I rather keep these on and not have to run away like a mental person. . .not yet at least." He laughed before splashing her again, and that's when he got an idea. He grinned a bit mischeviously before walking over to her, "I don't think you're wet enough." and then he picked her up.Afterwards, he started walking, his mission: the artificial cascade located in the center of the fountain. He was still grinning from ear to ear. |

"Yeah, not yet. I bet their waiting on the side-lines for when it does happen. Probably remember you from last time and now their thinking well look at that, he even got that girlfriend of his involved." It was funny that they bought that excuse. If it got Brad out of trouble then it was alright then right? She watched him cautiously though as he walked up to her, figuring the grin on his face said it all. Of course she didn't expect me to be picked up so she let out a shocked squeak at that much, but then laughed. "Okay, this is hardly fair. I am so going to find a way to get back at you when-ever I can." Whoever heard of drowning in a fountain? She couldn't swim but that didn't count here she figured. Thank merlin. "Where is it you're taking me anyways?" |

"You think so? I'm not sure, I don't think they would recognize my face. . ." Because really it wasn't his face that people that had been around to witness the situation had gotten an eyeful of; regardless of what other nicknames or terms there might exist. It was after he said that, that he had picked her up, laughing at both her small squeak and her own laugh. "Didn't anyone tell you, Els? Life isn't fair." He restated, using her own words against her, a bemused grin still on his face while he looked down at her to get her reaction. At the mention of where they were going though, he didn't tell her. He merely grinned and step forward to stick both of them under the somewhat cold, running water. |

Great, her own words come back to get her. She didn't know what he meant by it just yet, at least not until she was hit with the water. Right off it was cold just because she wasn't used to it, and as such she hid her face in Brad's shoulder, her words coming out somewhat muffled due to it. "Bradley! I am definitely wet enough now." Ella still laughed though, amused by the whole situation. Go into a cafe you rarely go into and look what happens. She was having fun and that's what counted. |

Brad just grinned and laughed wholeheartedly at Ella's reaction. He had been a bit more prepared for the cold water so he only tensed up a bit at the contact of the cold liquid against his bare skin. He didn't pay much mind to it however, Ella's reaction pretty much overshadowed that. He pulled them away from the mini watefall type thing, and shook his head a bit to get the wet hairs out of his face. "Aww, don't complain, Ella. You look good wet." He told her with another grin before setting her back down on her own two feet. "See, if I had known you were going to be that vocal, I wouldn't have done it. . ." He paused to lean back against the rock, the water still falling on and around him, before he grinned, "That's a lie, of course I would have." |

"You would have done it regardless and I would have complained even though I secretly found it fun," Ella pointed out. Once on her own two feet she took a step back to stand under the water again, intending to get hair wet even more than it was. The rock itself was a seat enough which she sat down on. Anyone probably would have yelled at her for it, but no one that would was around to do so. "Who knew I would go into a cafe I usually don't go to, run into someone from the past, and end up at the Trevi fountain," she said absently. "What do you think? A good night so far?" |

Here they were, two normal people just standing and sitting against the carved rock of the Trevi fountain, half naked and just talking as if this was simply routine for them. Which, honestly completely changed the meaning of "normal". Bradley turned his head to look directly at Ella as she spoke about their random and chance reunion at that cafe. Brad just chuckled a bit under his breath and nodded, "I definitely think so. And if we can walk away from this situation without the local law enforcement intervening, then it will be even better." |

"Well if that happens then better sure, but it must mean we didn't cause nearly enough trouble to create attention." If anyone saw her she figured at that point she might just be a tad embarrassed. It was just Brad for now though and that was alright. Embarrassed more so because of her own lack of a shirt but still. "I think if you're true to your word about a dinner after this then we're both going to draw attention being soaking wet." Ella was known to fall easily but either way she stood up onto the rock, intending to get on the next one and the one after to get up as high as she could get without falling. It was good to have fun and not give a damn. Standing on that highest point was a lot better than sitting at the bottom. Looking at Brad though she raised an eyebrow. "You coming slowpoke?" |

"Ah, well we can always cause trouble some other day. Or, we can cause some trouble now, although I doubt you would want to run away without your shirt on." He teased her lightly and jokingly, he didn't want to make her conscious about her self-image right then, even if it was flawless. Hey, he was a guy, he couldn't help a once-over while she had been wetting her hair, but it stopped there, of course. Again, he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. At the word "dinner" Bradley's already light mood, brightened considerably, "We can have a dinner near a beach or somewhere. We'll blend in perfectly." He grinned and ran his hands through his hair, out of habit really than anything else, but also because the water dripping from his hair was getting into his eyes. Seeing Ella climb the face of the rock, Bradley just rose his eyebrows in amusement and crossed his arms over his chest, choosing to just watch her for a bit. When she called out to him he grinned and followed her path up the rocks. Choosing to stand up, when he reached her, "Would it be complete cliche if I just exclaimed at the top of my lungs 'I'm King of the World'" |

Trouble followed her so if he thought not doing anything would prevent he was really wrong. Standing up there and knowing she was prone to slipping, Ella simply linked her arm with Brad's once he was beside her. "A beach you say? Well I think we'd fit right in." That much she agreed with though she shook her head at his next comment. "I thought to yell good morning to Rome, so no not at all. We'll be the best wake up call they've had," she said. "Though only if I get to my be the queen in your little sentiment." |

The view was something else from this point. Usually people looked inwards towards wherever it was that they were standing on, because the carvings of the fountain themselves were enchanting. For him? The sky, the clouds, the simple things; they just made a more of a lasting impression than simple thing like. . .carved rock that was supposed to look like Nepture, or some other obscure god of the sea. "Good morning to Rome...huh...I'l yell it with you if you want." He suggested with a smile before continuining, "Then I'll coronate you as my Queen of the Fountain and we can get chased out." Brad laughed a bit and stopped looking forward at the scenery, to look down at Ella. |

"Well go for it King of the Fountain," Ella told him, gesturing forward as she said it. It was nice to joke around for once. No seriousness or arguing. Definitely a nice change. Apparently running into people from the past was a nice thing even if she didn't think so of that before this. "Waiting on your cue of course." Grinning while she did so too. What a brilliant wake up call. |
