Julie shook her head. "Technically, I'm not even sure if Andre has approached the court yet to start his case," she explained. "Apparently when he went to talk to Abi it was more to give her a heads up that he was taking a member of the Auror Department to court." She shrugged. "I haven't been served with any papers yet, but you know how Andre hates to waste time." Well, that probably gave them about a week to plan some semblance of an actual wedding, which would definitely look better. Looked like she'd need that white dress after all. Oh well. Simple and small was her focus. That and the little amount of time she'd have to adjust to the fact that she was getting married. In some ways, she wished they could just go elope that night. Less time for her to think about what she was doing and have the nerves set in. Oh, she had no doubt she was going through with it. It would just be slightly nerve-wracking. "How about next week?" she suggested. "It's not much time, but I'm sure we can put something together." Of that she was confident. "And no, I don't have any food allergies," she answered. |

Jace nodded. "We should probably... I don't know. Announce our decision? Before you get any papers? That way it'll seem like we decided this beforehand. But, we can wait until next week to do that. Papers take a while to go through the system, even if you are paying extra to push it forward." So they had a little bit of time. Nice of Andre to think so highly of himself. Or...maybe Jace just held him in utmost disregard. "Next week sounds perfect. I'm sure we can pull together something. Use a little bit of magic. Employ groups of people. We need to come up with a reason that our engagement is so rushed, however." The last part he just nodded and didn't say anything else. |

Julie nodded. "Sounds good to me," she said. And now she had to come up with a reason for the rushed engagement. That would definitely be difficult. "Well, we could just tell people we were engaged before we were separated... by everything that happened?" She shook her head. "No... even better: we decided that we had lost enough time, so why wait any more?" She stood up, saying, "Honestly, I should probably get home for the night. But.. thank you. For everything," she said. "And I'm glad to see Arram is doing well." She walked over to where Jace was sitting with him and bent down to kiss the baby's forehead. "See you later, buddy," she said, standing back up as he made a grab for her hair. She looked back at Jace. "Well, see you on Friday," she said. "Oh...wait.. the address?" |

Jace nodded. "Either of those work. Afterall, no one really knows what happened while you were in Australia, and your Llian's not going to say anything against it, I'll assume? So that works." When she got up though, Jace almost stood too, sinking back into the chair as Julie leaned down to kiss Arram. He almost teased 'what, none for me?' but...that was a little much. It was. Too much, too fast. "Don't worry about it. I want him safe just as much as you do Julie." He said instead, standing up once she'd straightened up. "He's doing well, the doctor said he had a little bit of abnormal brain activity that they were monitoring, and he was a little malnourished, but he's being chubbed up nicely here." He began leading back up the stairs and to the door, so he could open it for her, but reminding him to tell her his address stopped him, and he dug around in his pocket for a moment before pulling out a sheet of paper. Maybe he hadn't planned on taking her to dinner, but he had planned on letting her know where he was. Naturally, he'd already baby-safed the flat, and was in process of moving in. "Here. lets say...five thirtyish?" |

"Llian will go along with it,' she said, disliking the 'your' in front of his name. She actually just wanted to be distanced from Llian in any way possible. Actually, she didn't know how Llian was going to take the news that she was marrying the guy he clearly thought was so bad to have around Claire... ...but too bad. Llian would just have to get used to the idea. For now, Julie had more things she had to think about than whether or not Llian had a problem with Jace. "Five thirty sounds great," Julie replied, taking the sheet of paper with his address on it. "I'll see you then," she said, turning and heading out the door. She disapparated once she had left, knowing there was a lot to be done. |

Jace shut the door behind her with a sigh, and just kind of stared into space for a few minutes. Only a few minutes, because he had a lot to do. "Mama?" He called. "Can you watch Arram for a little bit? I have to go do an errand!" With Arram safely taken care of, Jace inhaled, and left. |
