The Basics: Name: Daphne Lee Raziel. Nickname:--- Birthdate: January 22nd 1986. Birthplace: Malius Manor. Work/Schooling: Beauxbatons/Death Eater. Family: Pureblood. Mother: Aurora Ann Braxton. Father: William James Raziel. Siblings: Mary-Alice and Malius Raziel. Extended Family:---- Home: Parents home. About the character Appearance: Daphne has shoulder length, curly brown hair. It's pretty thick which is bothersome to her sometimes, but naturally she has just gotten used to it. Like most people in her family she has a pale complexion that not even hours in the sun can correct. She's about a average height at 5'6 or so. Like her mother, Daphne has a slender build. She likes to wear cloths that draw attention and for the most part makeup is a must for her and she won't leave the house without putting on a good amount of it. Her nails are always short due to a habit of biting them so she also leaves them unpainted as it would be completely pointless. Though she's a small thing she does know how to defend herself pretty well in fights or arguments. Strengths: She looks for the logic in situations and generally will fight for what she wants. She doesn't like to argue but she's pretty good at socialization so she knows how to talk herself out of a situation. Despite her picky attitude about people, she does have a energetic personality that can be a good thing when she wants to get to know some people. Weaknesses: Daphne's defensive, a bit on edge, and picky about people she talks to. Her idea of only knowing purebloods isn't exactly a good friend making quality and nor is the tendency to say what she thinks about people regardless of it being a rude comment. She's also not exactly able to take care of herself all that well. The tendency to be a bit full of herself too is a bit of an issue at times. Personality: (1 paragraph+): Daphne has a bubbly personality and though that might suggest she can easily get along with anyone, that's very wrong. She's very picky about people she talks to and she's very much set on knowing purebloods and that be it. She's quick to defend herself in a argument, and she sometimes has a selfish attitude about her. Daphne's view on people in general is really their just people she needs to push out of the way so she can get somewhere in life. She's pretty quirky and looks for the logic's in situations rather than believing her instincts. Daphne loves to be underestimated just so she can prove someone wrong. Though she was self taught with a lot of things, she still has room to improve. Daphne loves being the center of attention and can be sulky when she doesn't get what she wants. Even though she's musically inclined, she'd rather be testing out new spells. Hobbies: Experimenting with spells, reading. Pet: Er...none. It'd be really bad if she had one believe me... Wand: 7 inch Oak. School: Beauxbatons. House:--- Short History of The Character: (minimum 2 paragraphs): Daphne grew up in a house hold that was very much centered on following a certain way and her parents were very strict about that. She was adopted though, and even though they aren't sure of her true blood line, she's a pureblood to them and Daphne was never told. Even as a baby she was the loudest in the house and as she got older it was obvious she loved to be in the spotlight. Though her and Alice didn't gain as much favor as their brother, they both still had their place in the family. When she was seven though the neighbors made a complaint about Daphne's behavior (experimenting spells on strays....yes animals) that the Raziel's didn't care much about, but to keep up appearances and make the family look good, they sent Daphne to St. Mungos where she stayed till she was eleven and then went to school. At St. Mungos they put her through counseling but it didn't change her all that much. What she gained from it was the common sense to keep her 'hobbies' hidden. Being at St. Mungos for that amount of time also was another reason she became more interested in medicine. When Daphne went to school she had a hard time adjusting from her strict scheduled life at the hospital, and her new found freedom. It took her a month to fully adjust to the differences, and she slowly made friends. Her habit for experimenting with spells in horrible ways was still an issue, and she had several letters written home that were ignored. When it was threatened that Daphne would be disowned from the family, she let up on the experimenting. (most of it done after that was in secret in her dorm or in her room when she was at home). Daphne's interest in all things anatomy was another reason she was a bit too curious, but her family never really saw a problem with it. They only took action when the family name was at stake. It was in her last year that she started to gain a sense of her own independence. Before that she relied heavily on family and friends to help her with a lot of things. Unlike Alice or Malius, Daphne finished school completely before joining the death-eaters as she valued her education more than her future obligation. As far as training for that goes, she mostly taught herself and the rest came from books. She still lives at home and still stays in contact with a lot of her friends from school, but she doesn't talk much with her brother. If she hadn't had to be a DE by family choice, Daphne probably would have been a Healer. Primary Character: Ella Morvanna. Edited by Daphne Raziel, Feb 2 2009, 09:06 PM.
