Glenn smiled into his shoulder, as she leaned against him. "You feel the same way?" she asked, softly. "I know I'm not ready - and I don't know if I can handle the full pregnancy." She was just so relieved to hear him say that he wasn't sure about it either - because that meant she didn't have to change his mind, if she wanted to not have the baby. |

"I... I can't see us bringing a child into the world right now," he admitted, kissing her. After a moment, he continued, "It's so dangerous... I mean, I'm not saying never... but in a couple years, it might be safer anyway." After a moment, he ammended it with, "Assuming that we're together and everything then. But... you understand what I mean, right?" |

She couldn't help it - she smiled. He felt the same way she did! And she hadn't even had to say it first, she hadn't brought it up, he had. She kissed him back, unable to hide her relief. "Maybe," she said, with a smile. "Maybe in a few years - when we know what life's got in store for us." But then she turned more serious. "So...we're not going to keep it." |

"That's what I'm coming to," he said warily. "Do you agree with that?" He put his arms around her, loosely, but still there. |

She nodded, although she was about to cry again - the whole idea...she hated the thought of it but there really was no other way to do this. "I never thought I would agree with...abortion," she said, finally saying the word out loud. "But there's nothing else we can do..." She shook her head and hugged him. "But thank you...for every offer you made to help me." |

"I know, I never thought I would, either," he responded quietly. "Now... there's a hospital here in Paris, if you don't want people to know. Or, of course, you can always go to St. Mungo's," he explained. "I guess it's wherever you feel the most comfortable." |

She shook her head, pressing her lips against his neck. "Not right now," she said. "Not today, not tomorrow - I'm not...ready to go through with it, yet." She was scared - she wanted time to make sure this was definitely what she wanted. "But when it happens? I think I'd...rather go to Paris, honestly. Less people know me." |

"I know you wouldn't want to do it yet," he said quickly, stroking her hair. "Just... tell me when you do, okay?" After a moment, something occurred to him and he blushed deeply. "Do you want me to cover it?" |

She nodded slightly, wiping her eyes against his shoulder. "I will, Tree, believe me I will." Then, when he mentioned covering it - she blushed too. "Tree...you don't have to do that. You've been so wonderful, so much more perfect than I could ever even hope for - you don't..." She sighed helplessly. |

"I'll pay half, if you aren't comfortable with me paying for all of it," he said after a moment, wiping one of her tears away with his thumb. "After all, it was both of our decisions. And I don't want you to pay for all of it- you're eighteen, you should be saving your money. I'm not sure for what, but it's probably the best thing to do." He shook his head at her next words. "I"m not perfect. I'm flawed, very, very imperfect. You are the most beautiful, wonderful thing ever to touch my life." |

She nodded uncertainly. "That'd...be good," she siad. "Half and half, that'd work, be the best, probably...." She tried her hardest to keep smiling at him, but it was hard. This whole thing...was hard. Because she'd never thought abortion was right. But when it was the only logical option? Through the tears, she couldn't help reflecting on things - he'd been ready to marry her, for the sake of this baby.. He'd been ready for...absolutely anything she wanted. If she'd doubted it at all before, she had no qualms now - he was committed, and she trusted him with everything she had. Glenn had been thinking about what Blu told her, about relationships, and not knowing if you were ready for something. But Glenn was pretty sure she knew what was right now. "Tree..." she said, quietly, as she kissed him once, very quickly, "I love you." And she knew she meant it. It wasn't just because of the baby, although maybe the baby had made her realize that what the had was real. |

He kissed her back, his heart melting into a small puddle with her bashful admission of love. "I love you too," he responded, grinning. He had never spoken truer words. He had only just realized how much he would do for her, how he was willing to go to the ends of the earth for her safety and happiness. He loved her. And she loved him. |

This time it was a real smile. "You do?" she said, happily. It wasn't that she had doubted it - he just hadn't said it before, and she'd been scared that he wouldn't say it back to her. It was kind of soon in the relationship to be saying it, but she meant it. She hugged him, feeling small in his arms yet still fitting perfectly - everything was perfect, everything worked. He said he was flawed, and maybe he was, but that didn't matter to Glenn. "We're going to be okay," she said, firmly - she'd just...decided. "We are going to be okay." |

He held her in his arms, marveling in his mind over how perfectly she seemed to slip into place- as though she were meant to be there. She felt so tiny and breakable there, but he knew that she wasn't- she could look after herself. Tree chuckled, saying, "I agree. Everything's going to work out. We'll be fine." |

Glenn sighed a little, but it was happy - for a while, she could forget the baby, forget the problems, and just sit here, protected by Tree's arms. She knew he'd go through fire for her, and somehow that made it all okay. Leaning back into the couch, she pulled him with her. "What's so funny?" she asked him, with a bit of a smirk - she didn't want to be worried or upset. |

"Just... my life has changed so much with you in it, all of a sudden," he said frankly. "It's a lot funnier now, actually. Vaguely ironic." He pecked a kiss on her cheek, continuing, "and a lot happier." |

She laughed. "All of a sudden?" she said. "Yeah...I mean, we were sort of thrown together - me being sent to see if you were suicidal and all. Actually to make sure you were even alive..." She shook her head, as if disappointed in him, and then tilted it to the site curiously. "Maybe it was meant to be that way?" |

He shrugged and chuckled again. "Maybe you're right, as we do seem to click pretty well," he answered, shrugging and laying back on the couch. He liked staring at the ceiling- for some reason, there was a mosaic on it. |

She curled up on top of him and sighed. "Not to go totally philosophical on you, but if everything happens for a reason...why did this happen? But then, do things happen for a reason?" She shook her head and sighed. |

He blinked for a moment. "I'm not quite sure I can get my head around that," he said after a moment. "I mean... if we happened for a reason, that's awesome. If we happened just for chance, that's awesome too. All that matters to me is that... we happened." |
