"Well, only if you're sure and listen, if there's ever anything I can do in return, don't hesitate to ask. Alright?" Emma didn't like getting something for nothing. She felt bad but Alison was insistant that she was doing this as a favor, so who was Emma to question, really? And if the potions worked and her sickness, dizzy spells and tiredness was prevented, then how could she really complain. She waited patiently for Ali to retrieved her belongings from the table she'd sat down at before joining her at hers and finished off her second muffin. "I wondered how busy it was but I guess a lot of us have been getting married, buying houses of our own, buildng families.." Well, that's what she'd done. "Doubt you can really start a familiy living at Headquarters." Well, maybe you could, she didn't know."[/b] Emma nodded. It was sad to hear that the HQ was looking depressing. They'd had such fun times at the Headquarters - parties, girlie nihts in, couples curled up on the sofas, friends catching up..."Sounds like the old place needs something to liven it up a bit. But what? That's the question." Emma was used to things going wrong over the years; in fact she'd come to expectit, so gave a wry smile, which grew a little in thanks of Ali's words. "Thanks, Hun. You could be right. Wouldn't be the first time I've got sick while pregnant. Could just be that but I'll still give those potions a try." Finishing off the last dregs of her coffee, Emma pushed her mug aside. "You should pop round ours sometime. Meet Katie and see Kevin. I know she'd like to meet you and I'm sure Kevin'd rememebr you." |

Jen nodded but figured it probably wouldn't happen. Not once she got switched back and Ali wouldn't have a clue about this. She could tell her sure but she didn't see the big deal. The whole change and being talked to normally was different. Probably just because she was so used to hiding out and avoiding that sort of thing. "It's not big enough for a family to live in, but it's cool that everyone's going off with their own lives. It was bound to happen eventually but I guess no one expected it so soon." Strange how time can change things before you even got a chance to blink. "Maybe there needs to be another party there. Some like the old days get together." Jen shrugged her shoulder's and picked off a piece of her forgotten muffin. Hey if anything she was at least giving something Ali to do when she got back to being herself. "I'd love that," she said, realizing how much simpler polite conversation was than she figured. "I'm sure their great. And I should probably be going but I'll definitely stay in touch and I'll get you the potions as soon as I can. It was nice talking to you." Jen had to admit that it was a nice change. That much she was honest about. Checking the address was in her pocket first and her other things, she then left to go back to HQ. |

Emma knew that were she to be living in the headquarters with Kevin and Katie and with the newest edition on the way, they wouldn't of coped. They'd have needed their own living space and facilities. "It's amazing how much we've all changed and moved in different directions." And it was. Some had got married, had kids. Others had changed career, some had died, other had changed sides in the war. "It is sad but then I guess we'll be seeing a few new faces." The idea of having a party, really struck Emma's attention. She could definitely rememer the parties they'd had in the past. Memories of karoke, air guitars, disco balls, dancing, drinks... fun! "I think you're right. Maybe a reunion for anyone who's worked or lived at the Headquarters over the years. Worth thinking about." She was glad that Ali was considering possibly dropping by to see her and the family, but was sad to see that Ali had to go. "Do, please and thanks, really. I appreciate it. It's been great catching up." Emma watched Ali leave, and after a few minutes, left herself. |
