"I don't know." The answer was quiet, helpless as she shrugged her shoulders. "This isn't something I can just...think over and fix in ten minutes. You...broke your vows, and your promises, and ditched me and the kids to go attempt adultery with one of my best friends because you were engaged with her at one point in time, and the lies, and the being left alone, and going after women? Dante, do you even understand how that makes me feel? I can't just hug you and tell you 'baby, it's alright, we'll fix this' because I don't know how to fix it. I don't even know what to feel right now. How can I trust you?" She didn't want to be the kind of person to set rules, and lock him down. Clearly, he was already feeling locked down enough, if he was doing things like this. "You just blatantly told me that you love me, but if Anna hadn't said no, you would have been having an affair right this second. You say it's because you're trying to figure yourself out. Maybe you truly believe that. Maybe it's just another excuse. I don't know. I don't know anything right now. I clearly can't understand where you're coming from with this. Step in my shoes for a minute. Say I found another guy - not just any guy, but someone you know, very well, and I was ditching you with the children constantly, just disappearing, and cheating with him, and then told you. How would you feel?" |

"I don't expect you to trust me. Not after this." He had to earn it back right? He had hurt her and made a mess of things worse than anything else. When it was all laid out like that it seemed even worse. It put it in perspective more and maybe that was better and he'd get the point. "I'd be as hurt as you are and I'd be reacting the same way." Dante wasn't sure what had to be done but he wanted to figure it all out and attempt to fix what he had screwed up. It should have never ended up like it had now in the first place. Sighing as he looked at her, "I'll sleep down here if you want me to." |

"Just give me time, okay? I need to think I through and right now I'm too upset to think clearly. I'm not...going to up and disappear with the kids. I won't do that to them; they love you, and they will need their father. And I love you. I just need to... think. I just need to think." How did people react to this anyways? What did they do? "I'm not going to ask you to change. You'll end up hating me for it, but something has to be done. Something needs to be adjusted. I just don't know." When he said he'd sleep down here, Harm looked at the ground for a moment, and sighed. With a little flick of her wrist, the pillows and blankets from his side of the bed came down the stairs and made themselves on the couch. She needed to be alone, and his offer just solidified that. "I'm sorry." She whispered, before turning and fleeing back up the stairs to her room. After a quick check in on the sleeping children, she went back into their bedroom. Just looking at the room itself, with their joint marks on it, just made her start to cry once again. She climbed into bed and hugged her pillow to her chest, hiding her face against it until she'd sobbed herself into exhaustion, and fell asleep. |

With all the problems lately it hardly helped when she found out of a more concerning issue. So much for a good conversation with her sister though she hadn't known details anyways. Rose had meant to see Harm sooner anyways but things had been hectic. Thus the decision to let the kids stay home with Phin who had invited Gigi and Jack over so she could have girl time with Harm. Thank merlin for the whole medicine mix up being cleared up because she finally felt back to her old self. Knocking, she tucked her jacket a little tighter around herself as she waited. |

Harm had not been having a good couple of days. If she had thought taking care of the kids was hard enough, now she was balancing the twins and Angel around her part-time job, and her boss was getting a little unhappy at how many times she'd had to bring them in with her. Dante hadn't brought Kat back, and Harm just figured that was something between him and Sam, and she was just uninvolved completely. Wasn't her kid, after all. It was just another ache to add on the list. When the knock came to the door, all the kids had already been put to bed, even Angel not protesting in light of something or another. Kids tended to be pretty instinctual sometimes. They were in bed, and Harm had been sitting on the counter in her kitchen, a bottle in her hand. Laced alcohol; she needed to keep her hunger up even higher now that she was with the kids all the time, and the alcohol just took the edge off the fear and pain. When she finally managed to get to the door, she quickly ran a hand through her hair and straightened her clothes, wiping her lips to make sure they weren't red. Only after she looked somewhat presentable did she open the door, and seeing Rose, she paused. Harm wasn't sure who she expected to see at the door, but it hadn't been one of his sisters. So she was quiet for a moment before she stepped back to let her in, a quiet, "Hi." slipping from her lips. |

Rose honestly didn't expect Harm to be in the best of moods, and who could blame her? Bloody idiot. Of course she'd have to find him in order to talk to him and that was appearing impossible for her; he was apparently being overly selective of who he spoke to. As Harm opened the door though, Rose immediately hugged her. "Oh, sweetie." Whatever good mood she thought she'd bring with her was out of mind but she had been doubtful it'd help any. She wasn't even entirely sure how to help, but she wanted to at least try regardless. Hoping too she was still welcome. It wasn't her fault anyways. Leaning away but still keeping her hands on Harm's arms, she frowned. "Do you want to talk about it?" Talking about it helped right? So she heard. Not like her family was the most social people about their issues. Probably accounted for half the problems really. |

Clearly, her attempts to look okay were completely and utterly a failure. The utterance of 'oh sweetie' just made her throat constrict as she hugged her friend back, swallowing back the instant tears. It'd been going through her mind just how much she was losing in that situation, but she was glad to find that at least for the moment, she hadn't lost everything. Asking if she wanted to talk about it? Harm shook her head, quite reverently against talking about it at all. At the same time though, tears were already flowing down her cheeks as she whispered, "I miss him so much." It was true. She did miss him. They'd been together for the good of over two years at that point, and now he was just gone. He'd become part of her life so strongly, and now she was just left trying to pick herself up, and she just wanted him back. But at the same time, it hurt. What he had done, really hurt. She didn't even know how to handle this, but considering how crappy she felt, this wasn't helping. |

"It'll work itself out." Rose couldn't call upon experience because her situation definitely hadn't been what Harm's was, but if her and Dante wanted it to they could fix it. At least that was her belief anyways. Seeing the tears though she brought up her hand to gently wipe them away herself. "You and I are going to have ourselves a girls only night. We can either hide ourselves away here with some cheesy movie that you love to hate and good old gossip, or we can take our night out somewhere. I can get Phin here in no time to watch the kids, and he'll have help since he has Jack and Gigi--his brother and sister-over." Pausing she added. "I hate seeing you like this." |

"This is the second time though." Harm shook her head again, squeezing her eyes shut to control the tears as best as possible. It was almost weird to be talking to Dante's sister about this, but at the same time who else was she supposed to talk to it about? Anna? Right. That'd go over well. Real well. "I can't just... I can't just let this keep happening. I don't know who I even am anymore, I've just been talking care of the kids and I'm not... I'm not interesting him anymore, or something. I don't hold his interest enough for him to be at home and there's always going to be another girl who was there in front of me. Hell... the first only looked like Sam. Just looked like her. That was it. I don't know what to do or what to tell Angel but knowing that I'm not good enough for him... I don't know what to do. I just don't. It's just falling apart. Everything is falling apart and I'm trying to stay strong for my babies but I don't know what to do." How bloody pathetic was that? At the same time though, it really was true. She didn't even know herself anymore. She didn't know how to feel other than just incredibly sick and hurt at what had happened. There were no "what to do when your husband wants to cheat 101" books. |

Second time. Now that was enough to get her angry. She already wanted to talk to him to knock some sense into him if anything. She was quiet though as Harm talked, at least glad she was getting some of it out. It couldn't be healthy to just keep it to herself to begin with. "I think you need to figure out you first. How can you decide anything if you don't even know who you are? I would think that deciding anything would be ten times harder. My brother's just...he's stubborn and indecisive and I hardly think he thinks before he acts. I know he loves you, just how he talks about you is enough to know that, but not even I can get why he's done what he has. I'm just sorry that he did because neither you nor the kids deserve to be treated that way." |

Harm shook her head to herself, running her hands over her face as she pulled away from Rose to go sit down on her couch. She wasn't so sure, with her falling apart like that, that she was going to be able to stand there. It was such poetic justice, right? She was supposed to be the strong one, and always be able to handle crises, and she'd never ever fallen apart. Now, she was doing it big time without really wanting to. What Rose was saying made sense. She had to figure out her first, right? How was she supposed to do that though, when she was spending her day trying to keep up with her children, keep everything together, work, and then end up alone in bed? And... now she sounded codependent. She could raise her children by herself, and she could make everything work. She just didn't want to, and that was why it was taking such a toll on her. "I don't know." She repeated to the last part, rubbing her fingers through her hair. "Were you serious about going out?" Maybe...maybe, that would be good for her. |

Rose shut the door as she walked over to sit next to Harm, feeling bad that in the way of words she wasn't able to be much help. She was more good at the whole ignoring the issue long enough to feel just a little better stuff. "Of course. You know Phin has no problems watching all the kids. Besides, like I said he has his siblings to help out. And we both know a night out would do you some good." |

Harm looked into the kitchen where her bottle was sitting, and then at the stairs where she knew her babies were sleeping just up them. She was reluctant to leave them, not wanting angel to feel like she was being abandoned but at the same time, maybe a night out of the house would be good for her. She hadn't gone out and just danced, or drank, or whatever in ages. Who knows when the last time was. It was really tempting. "They're already asleep." Harm mumbled, running her hand through her hair again. She looked like crap. She was aware of it. At the very least, her complexion wasn't as pale because of how much blood she'd been consuming. But they did tend to love Phin...and she wouldn't feel like she was dumping them on him because he had other people there to help him. "And you trust his siblings?" She made sure, really torn on whether she should. |

"Mine are too. Well, Lucas thinks he's a superhero so he doesn't need to sleep. He's probably still in his cape and sitting up with Phin, Gigi, and Jack," Rose told her with a small smile. Rose understood being stuck with whether it'd be a good idea or not because she still wasn't so sure about leaving Charlie for long, but she knew Phin could handle things. And Lucas was old enough now she didn't feel as guilty. "Absolutely. Their both great people, Harm. I wouldn't suggest it if they weren't." |

Harm couldn't help but smile. It was a weak smile, barely there, but it was a smile anyways. Lucas had become one of Angel's good friends as well, and she enjoyed watching him. He was certainly a unique little boy, and the whole superhero thing just sounded really cute. When Rose pointed out that she wouldn't have suggested them babysitting for the twins and Ang if they weren't trusted, Harm nodded. "Sorry I just...can't lose them too. I guess I'm being paranoid." Angel definitely wouldn't mind going and playing with Lucas and "Lucas' baby" as she called his baby sister, and the twins would most likely just go back to sleep when they were settled... "Okay." |

"It's probably a mom thing. I'm still not uneasy when I have to leave Charlie and Lucas," Rose assured her. She got that the people watching her kids were capable of such, but it didn't mean she didn't tend to worry. Those were her babies after-all and she tended to have the thought that she knew best. As Harm agreed she glad for it. A night out was always a good distraction. "Alright. Do you want to get ready or anything? Then we can just get the kids ready, drop them off at my place, and go somewhere. Anywhere that you want." |

Harm agreed with Rose about the mom thing. Especially in the age of when so many bad things were happening, it was normal for moms to worry about their babies. Just knowing that Rose was with her on that account but trusted Phin and his siblings enough to take care of their children to come see how she was doing meant a lot. "Well I can't really go out like this..." Harm cracked a smile, looking down at the old sweatpants she was currently wearing, and then nodded, "If you want to go... wake up Ang and tell her she is going to go spend the night with Lucas while I do that? She'd love to see you anyways. I won't take long, I promise." She gave Rose another hug, and then ran upstairs. When she faced her mirror...it was worse than she thought. But with a moment of fierce determination, she pulled her hair back, splashed water on her face, and got to work. She slid on a small red dress, form-fitting and at the same time fell low and ended high. She'd been saving it for some kind of a special occasion with Dante, but this worked just as well. After a quick dry wash, Harm let her hair fall in loose waves down her back. It was her eyes that took her a while to figure out what to do with them. They were red, and puffy. Thank merlin for magic, right? Deciding that she was as good as she was going to get, she slid on some heels and walked into the boy's room, putting them in their carriers and packed a bag for them. They luckily didn't wake up, and then she walked in to find Angel and Rose. |

Rose nodded and headed off to Angel's room while Harm got ready. She didn't want to scare her so she woke her up first, getting a surprised reaction, a equally surprised declaration of her name, and a hug. Laughing she hugged Ang back and explained that she'd be staying the night at her house with Lucas and Charlie and that Phin was there with his siblings. Angel of course, though still sleepy, was excited about the idea and was already out of bed trying to find her toy broom that she was refusing to go without. "Lucas has one like that," Rose told her. As Ang was standing though, she took note of how much the little girl had grown. "You're getting much too big on us kiddo." Angel laughed as Rose had caught her around the waist on her back to the bed and pulled her onto her lap. "I'm not that big," was her argument. Rose glanced at the doorway as she saw Harm, smiling as she saw the whole pulled together outfit. "Doesn't your mummy look pretty, Angel?" she asked as Ang nodded and got up. |

Harm looked down at the dress when Rose indirectly complimented her, and smiled slightly in thanks, setting the sleeping twins down in their carriers as she bent down to scoop her daughter up into her arms. "I'm just going to go out with Aunt Rose for a little while, okay? You'll probably be asleep when I get back but I'll see you in the morning, okay? Be a good girl for Uncle Phin and be nice to Lucas. Can you do that for me?" She smiled fondly when Angel told her - with a fair amount of scorn - that she was 'always' a good girl and nice to Lucas. It was true that they were getting along a lot better than they had in the beginning, where they really just avoided each other. Ang always came back gushing about what they did together, anyways. "Okay... ready to go? Do you want to bring a pillow Ang?" She nodded, jumped back down, and grabbed her princess pillow, ready to go. |

Admittedly it was cute seeing Harm and Ang interact and she wondered briefly how Ang was taking Dante not being at the house lately. Putting it out of mind since the night was about having a good time, she stood up and waited for Ang to grab her pillow before she told her, "Hold onto your mum's hand real tight okay? Don't want any accidents while apparating." Definitely the last thing anyone needed. "Ready then?" Once Angel had taken Harm's hand and had one of the boys carrier in hand, Rose took the other--Devon, she was sure of it but she was learning the slight differences--and then Harm's hand with her freehand to disapparate them to her house and then to go out after.
