When Ella showed up she was glad. She could at least help explain or verify anything. So maybe in this case sooner might have been better, but who had the time anymore?

"See, I've been around for years and no one has known it. The short version? I found out about Ella first and then I found her. Then we've been switching places sometimes since I work as a Auror and Ella can't exactly get that job back. So you've seen me once before, but you didn't know it was me,"
Beth explained, wondering if it made any sense.

She didn't think Brad had gotten that explanation yet even so that was two people. Rose already knew and Dante did by accident. A little late on the greeting she still waved at Brad.

"Alex and Edward are mine." That Rose didn't know. She didn't think anyone but her and Ella knew that really. "Considering no one knew about me we had to say they were Els. I do apologize for like...piling this all on you like this."

"None of us knew about Beth till a little bit ago, so you aren't the only one wanting answers," Rose told Harm in a attempt to make her feel better about it as she took Charlie back from her.

Hearing about the twins, however, she wasn't all too surprised. She couldn't be surprised anymore when it came to Ella and Beth. Merlin only knew what those two had done. With Brad there and the latest secret out, she just shook her head. Sheer chaos.

"Basically they've been pulling one over on us for years."

Well, that was one to tell Harm. Which she didn't blame her for probably being overwhelmed. Too much information at once? Maybe.

"A while would be the roundabout answer," Ella answered first.

A while ago or...years ago or something. She lost track anymore. At the question of how long though as far as Brad and herself was concerned?

"Almost two years."

Something just said that wouldn't go over so well with not having told Harm, but it wasn't like she had told anyone so. As Beth explained the twin thing at least, she just let her. If she wanted to handle that then good. Focusing on one thing at a time she took a breath before she said anything else.

"This is Juliette. Jordan started calling her Jett and it just stuck so sometimes we just call her by that."

Glancing at Brad she grinned. Harm's warning?

"Harm bites. But only if you do something to deserve it. You should ask Ryder."

Secrets were a rather intriguing thing. Once a person got over the whole deception and lack of trust issue that came with secrets, they really were a somewhat beautiful thing. Alright, maybe beautiful wasn't the correct word to use. He actually didn't have an actual adjective for it. Secrets were. . .secretive, what more could he say?

He was, though, extremely grateful for the twin explanation. He hadn't actually gotten the whole story, actually he didn't think that anyone had and that the twins had been waiting for a moment like this to spill. Repeating one tended to be tiring, so he understood.

It was actually sort of like his and Ella's own secret, and having to repeat themselves. "Two years on March 1st" he nodded as well when Ella answered the question of how long they had been married. Not that. . .they had spent even one year of those two years together but he intended to make up for lost time.

As for Harm biting, well his first thought led him down a train of thought that wasn't entirely appropriate and had him lifting his eyebrows in confusion. His second thought, however, made a hell of a lot more sense. "Vampire. . .cool," was his only comment, as he nodded showing that he understood. [As for Ryder deserving it? No question about it.

Turning to Harm again he asked, "Do you want the long story short, or the long story long?" He blinked a bit at his own descriptions, but shrugged it off. He wasn't a very word-driven person to begin with.

Harm was basically...beyond shocked to hear that Bethany and Brad had been part of Ella's life for a few years. This wasn't a few days, not a few weeks, nor months, a few, years.

"I didn't...so it was you with the whole..." Her head was spinning; Harm sat down with a thump next to Dante again and asked, "So with the...twins, Ella? You like... I don't know. glamoured yourself? Or was I with you, Bethany?"

How confusing was that??

And two years married. So did that mean any other marriages had been null and void? Or was that Beth too?

"I think I need a drink." She muttered, but made no move to get up. Two years. Having a twin. Having a twin who's kids were best friends with her own and she didn't even know the mother. Or she did and she didn't know it. Oh bother.

And then cool? Right. Cool. Angry vampires are super cool. Well, hopefully he wouldn't see it otherwise.

"Whatever length it takes to properly tell me?"
She then suggested, deciding to focus on one thing at a time.

"Glamours mostly. Beth once or twice."

Certain things they agreed though not to mess with when it came to each others lives and swapping place. Sometimes though it couldn't be helped.

"I'm sorry."

Ella felt the need to apologize. Mostly for the fact none of it had been told to her sooner and the fact they were all telling her everything at once. Sitting down on the arm of the chair Rose was sitting on, she kept Juliette on her lap.

"If it's any consolation, none of us knew about the twins until very recently, same with me and Ella's marriage." The situation ceased being amusing in Brad's eyes. They were clearly not pass the lack of trust and feeling of betrayal part of the secret-sharing. Technically, it really wasn't a secret anymore. As soon as he explained it all anyways, it would be common knowledge. Not to mention the fact that he felt as awkward as he probably looked. He nodded to Harm, beginning his explanation while he remained standing.

"Well me and Ella met almost two years ago, in Rome, Italy. I was travelling the world with my friend, and she was...taking some time off, as you probably know," He didn't want to get into absolute details; his personal life was still personal after all, "Well I very stupidly got into some trouble by the Trevi fountain, and she helped me out; I asked her out to dinner as a thank you." He was now approaching dangerous information territory. Information that could potentially cause him harm (ha, the humor) because of siblings. At least, that's how it usually worked.

"We had...one too many drinks and the next day we woke up with these," He raised his left hand to show his recently reacquired wedding band, "On our fingers. After talking for a while we just decided to go with it. We kept travelling for a while," His lips twitched in amusement at the flooding of memories coming back, "But eventually assh- er, David found out. Told us to seperate, we refused and...he hurt Ella." The mere thought caused him to clench his hands into fists before continuing, "So I left, to keep her safe but I just...I don't know, I couldn't ask her for a divorce..." He shook his head, trying to regain his train of thought, "And we ran into each other again a few months ago, figured as long as David doesn't find out again, it's okay and...well here we are."

He avoided details, of course, they didn't need to know everything.

The apology Harm ignored mostly, if only because she was trying to hear the entire story with Brad's explanation. It was slightly...well, Harm didn't know what it was, but just the fact that Brad was telling them the story...

Oh well.

Okay, it started simple enough. Harm just didn't know what about that caused them to have to hide it. And then, naturally, alcohol was brought in. And then David.

Harm could understand clearly why keeping it from David would be impertinent, considering what Brad was telling them already, and Harm noted the man's expression; the tenseness of his stature, the look in his eye, the tightened hands...

Intriguing.

To that, Harm looked at Brad for a few moments, just watching him. Expressions were key to knowing a person's honesty, to knowing their feelings, and there had been a few things that she picked up on that she...well, approved of. She didn't know exactly what kind of guy he was; she didn't know if he was sweet, or wild, or old-fashioned (well, okay she knew he wasn't old fashioned), but he did look like he cared. Considering the jackasses she'd dated before, it seemed like a step in the right direction.

So Harm just finally blinked and turned, her response a simple, "Okay.", and then, to Beth, curiously, "Pretzels. Does that mean anything to you?"

She honestly just wanted to know which times were the "once or twice".

The story was interesting enough. She had wondered how that even came about, but now she knew. Rose wasn't helping as she was paying attention to Charlie as some sort of distraction. Dante was attempting to be comforting to Harm by rubbing small circles on her back. At any rate she glanced at Harm when she was spoken to.

"I knocked them out of your hand. I got mad and said some things too if I recall correctly," she answered. "I apologize for that. I didn't...I didn't exactly know who you were at that point. I was still learning names and faces."

She tried to think on any other moment she may have spoken to Harm, but that was the only one that came to mind.

Dante was really waiting for the one second he could say it was too much. He didn't want Harm overwhelmed, but that seemed unavoidable. She would probably shrugged it off anyways that it was enough for the day. He had already heard the story that Brad gave from Ella, slightly altered maybe. Her version had less information. Between being the over-protective brother and being the caring husband, the situation kind of called for a lot.

"I knew about some of this, but I'm learning things too. I didn't really know till a few weeks ago," Dante told Harm as he spoke up for once. "I promised I wouldn't tell anyone but...probably should have said something."

It didn't occur to Brad that Harm might have been the "best friend" character that he had to win over or get a stamp of approval from until he was being literally scrutinized to the point of him wanting to crawl back into a shell. It was pretty intimidating, and he wasn't a coward. . .not usually. Maybe it was the fact that her best friend was a vampire. And said vampire liked to cause harm (haha, he loved that joke a little too much) to people who deserve it. And my 'people who deserve it' he had a pretty good idea that that really meant 'people who hurt Ella'. Lovely, well if he came out of this alive. . .

He nodded, letting out a small, minuscule actually, breath of relief and moved to at least stand behind Ella. Alright, his part was done and he was alive and all was well. Except for the small nausea he still had. And the stress was probably not good for his hair but then again worrying about worrying wasn't good either.

"And I'm really not as bad as it seems," he said out loud to Harm, when people kept sharing their input, "A little on the slow side, maybe but I do mean well." He had to stop himself from saying "I mean no harm" because otherwise he would have cracked up and he would have been the only one who had thought it funny.

When the story came out of Beth's mouth, a great big smile spread across Harm's face, and she responded, "I honestly... think that was so funny. Because I had never seen Ella act that way with me-" Naturally, she had to glance at the person in question, "But I figured it was just hormones. Which apparently you didn't...have...But you did..."

That was still confusing. She thought she might have the basics down at least though.

Dante was rubbing her back and Harm just leaned against him. "Maybe. A warning would have been nice instead of your...little jokes about it." But all was good anyways. Of course, her attention was brought back to Brad when he spoke again, and she tilted her head to listen.

"You don't seem bad." She told him. "Welcome to the family I suppose. You guys can sit down you know. I'm not going to spontaneously combust or something. Does anyone want anything to drink?"

Ella adjusted Juliette on her hip when she started to fuss, and was glad at least that Harm was taking all the news so well. When Beth gave an explanation pretzels, something she had been informed about, she just shook her head. There wasn't many times either of them had met with anyone each other knew, but the few times they did there was usually damage control to be done.

Glancing at Brad she wondered if he was as nervous as she assumed, but it was just Harmony. To her that wasn't a big deal despite all the information they were giving her. She had a comment to his, but instead she took her free hand to take Brad's hand.

"You're always asking if I'm happy right?" she asked Harm. "Well I am. That's got to count right?"

"Sorry about that."

So he had a few 'oops' worthy moments, but from his point of view it had been amusing. He hadn't actually thought about how overwhelming it might be for Harmony when she found out. Yet another 'oops' moment. Kissing the side of her head he grinned as he added,

"I wasn't sure about him at first either." Looking over at Brad then he shrugged his shoulder's. "No offense mate."

He did after-all have to play the over-protective big brother role right? He was just attempting not to cross the line from over-protective to over-bearing.

Seeing Harm smiled definitely made Beth feel better. She looked a little...annoyed maybe? before, but the smile turned that assumption around.

"It was kind of funny," she agreed. "I was just so annoyed that people Ella knew kept bugging me I guess the word is. I snapped and you lost the pretzels."

She hadn't even really noticed she had just been standing there the whole time till Harm said something and she sat down next to Rose who passed Charlie over to her so she could give her arms a break. Seeing as no one answered her latter question, Beth chose to.

"No thanks. I'm fine. And it may be a bad moment, but nice to meet you."

Technically it really was the first time she was meeting Harm as she actually knew who she was now.

One conclusion from all of it? She had one crazy family. Anything they could get themselves into and apparently they would. She was wary about Brad, but she wasn't as on the fence about him as Dante probably was. After MI she had more respect for him.

Once everyone was finished talking and she had carefully handed Charlie over to Beth for the moment, she took a breath that was more of an excuse to not to laugh. It wasn't funny, but it was in a way. I mean could anyone else get themselves into all that trouble? Well, some trouble.

"So," Rose started, glancing from one to the other. "I don't know about you guys but I'm all for a non-awkward silence."

She may have been more inclined to take the conversation elsewhere if it happened more so than anyone else.

"Paris!" she exclaimed to Harm, as if she had just heard about it. "I can't believe you're going. That's going to be amazing."

Bradley would never admit out loud how grateful and significantly calmer he became once Ella took his hand into hers. He wasn't usually prone to caring what other people thought about him but this instance was different. He was searching for approval and to know that he couldn't simply buy a couple of gifts, or drinks depending on the person, and win them over that way was a bit annoying. He actually had to try this time, which would probably involve messing up seeing as he was prone to stupidity. He squeezed Ella's hand briefly to show her he appreciated the gesture.

"Thank you," he told Harm after her welcome, nodding with a small smile on his face. He did chuckle a little however, when he heard Dante's comment. He shook his head, "None taken," Bradley assured him. Knowing himself, he would be worried if people, older brothers especially, weren't suspicious at first. He was after all. . .well, male pretty much summed it up.

As for Harm's question about a drink, Brad shook his head and responded, "No thank you. I feel kind of sick, I don't think I could stomach water, really." And that was the truth, with a little bit of the truth missing from it. I think everyone had enough revealed secrets to last them a while. Hidden diseases and ailments were going to have be the agenda for another meeting.

It was just something to be amused about. At the time she'd been hormonal and pissed because it was her last bag of pretzels and she had been craving them something awful. Now, it really was something that she could look back on and laugh about.

Funny how that worked...

"That counts. And if you are happy, then that's good enough. Unless he turns out to be some murdering prick who pulls you into half-assed schemes. Then I'm holding an intervention."

Honestly it wasn't like anyone could stop her, and secondly, she didn't give shit about the authorities. There wouldn't be any body. Really, the same had become true of all the Morvannas.

Beth saying something about bugging her but Harm remembered it as something about their dad. She wasn't going to bring that up though. It was really just awkward. Bad judgment.

"Curious, love. How long have you been muddling through your opinion on him?" After he'd kissed her head she turned slightly to look at him, her eyebrow going up inquisitively. Obviously it had been something Ella needed to tell her, but being the last one to know definitely wasn't fun.

"It's nice to meet you too. Both of you." Of course, hearing that Brad was feeling sick enough not to handle water, Harm frowned. Really, she appreciated being told but if he was sick he didn't need to be dragged all the way over there, especially not with the kids. Oh well, too late. "Well sit down..."

There were so many people there that it was pretty hard to look from person to person as they spoke, but Rose decided that it was time to move on, and really, Harm didn't mind getting to the everyone-sitting-around-chatting thing. It was odd to her that after being part of no family, she was now part of a rather large family, but she loved it. Most of it, anyways.

Bringing up Paris just brightened the smile on Harm's face, her own excitement clearly showing as she glanced back up at Dante. "I know! I've never been there, and the brochure looks so beautiful...thank you guys for taking care of the kids for us. I know there's a lot of them..."

"A few weeks? Maybe more? She told me right after...she got back from the weekend trip."

Oh smooth. He hadn't exactly thought about that before he said anything. He had avoided it for the sheer sake of there not being yet another thing to stress about or be upset about. It was technically a weekend trip after-all. But as the conversation was easing into a comfortable and rather normal one, he wasn't as uneasy. It may have been all his family mostly in the room, but he was still attempting to get social skills down at times.

At least turning the conversation around had worked. That much she was glad for. Smiling she shook her head.

"It's no problem. I'll get to see the boys more then and everyone," Rose told her. "Besides, Brad put this huge playroom together for the kids and I bet Kat and Ang will love it."

She glanced at Brad curiously when he stated he couldn't even keep water down, but she didn't ask. Ella wasn't letting go of his hand either she noted as she sat down even.
