"Most people are scared of me." Harmony told Dante, smiling at him happily. She liked when people weren't scared of her. She didn't like being scary, she just was sometimes scared and had no control over herself. She tried. She was really excited that he thought she was cool to hang around, because honestly? No one had told her that before. "Oh! That's cool. I have fifty-three." They weren't actually her siblings but since they were all the same and had been taken care of by the same woman, she concluded that they were her brothers and sisters. |

"Definitely not the future I expected." Things were just...bad back then. He couldn't have seen how anything good was going to come of it really, except maybe his hopes of being a Auror which he had completely squashed. "I'm surprised," Dante laughed. "Ang seems to have a sense of when something's up and Kitty usually follows just to see what Angel is doing." As he stood in the doorway watching the younger two he noticed that the black color of younger Harm's eyes was gone. Which he was glad for that because he assumed then she was more comfortable being there. "You think it was something the Ministry did again? Sending the younger ones back? I mean I don't look at it as a bad thing." |

"Use that to your advantage then. If they want to be bullies then oh well. They just lose out on knowing you," Dante said as he put the cards down. He didn't see why. Harm was nice and she was cool to talk to. She wasn't scary to him. People apparently just didn't know how to keep their distance when they should. Or really people just feared things they didn't understand. "Fifty three?" He gave a low whistle at that and just smiled. "Good thing you got the whole Ministry. We can fit loads of people in my house but definitely not that many." Sliding the cards toward her then he looked at them and then back at her. "You can keep them if you want. I bet you can find somewhere to hide them and then you'll have something to do. I bet the other kids will be jealous." |

"Well they aren't really my real siblings but they're all kids like me." Harm clarified, tilting her head slightly, "Is the Ministry big? I've only ever been in one ward." And really, only a few rooms; the testing rooms, and her room. When Dante slid the cards to her though, she glanced at them when he did, but when he told her she could have them? That someone was giving her something that wasn't a necessity, that she could play with? Her wide eyes filled with tears and she launched forward to hug him. No one had ever given her anything not necessary before. |

"It's a lot better future than I expected." Harm said softly, shaking her head, "You know, they made us grow up to believe that when turned seventeen we would die? Because at that point, their drug that was keeping us from staying at one age killed us. They thought that when we turned seventeen that we were stronger and able to handle more of it? And it really just made our bodies shut down. I was really lucky to be let go at sixteen. And then I got our family." As for their girls? "Ang was up really early this morning and they did play hard all day...she and Kitty are probably dead asleep right now." Hell, she was exhausted too from trying to keep up with them. Thinking about why their younger selves were there though made her sigh. Honestly? "Ministry experiment seems most likely, yes. I just don't know what use it would be to have our younger selves here." |

"That's awful. No one has any right to control a persons life like that or do those things to someone. Especially not kids," Dante told her. The Ministry of all things too. It wasn't right on any level. "I heard them. Between the running up and down the halls and that ball they were bouncing everywhere..." How on earth could you miss all that noise? "Maybe they want to mess up lives or something. That last experiment did that and I mean if you mess with something it's bound to change things a little." |

"There's like six or so levels to it. Then there's the atrium where the floo fireplaces are and the way in," Dante explained. "Or so I've read. My dad won't let me go there because he says I'll get influenced." Lame reason if he could say so. He was a bit concerned though when Harm looked like she would cry, and then she hugged him and he understood why. Smiling he hugged her back. "Hey, you could always look at this way too that we apparently see each other again sometime. I mean our future selves are here together." So maybe he did manage to get out from under his family. At least that's what it looked like. And Harm looked happy. All that worrying and it could be for nothing for all he knew. |

"We weren't considered people back then." Harm reminded him. "We were dangers to society. It was only in the past couple years that we've begun to have rights." She nodded as he talked about the girls running around and mentioned, "I got whacked with that ball several times." It wasn't intentional of course, but she did. And that ball was wild when it got going. She wasn't sure what they could do about it though. Already just by meeting each other at whatever ages they were, they were already changing history, and she just sighed. "I guess. I don't know." |

"That does sound big." Harm said, wondering if by going back she'd get to see how big it is. If she even had to go back. She was kind of hoping that maybe she could stay with Dante now. "Influenced by what?" She wasn't quite sure what he meant by that, because she didn't know what was in the Ministry. Other than herself of course. When Dante mentioned their future selves though, Harm's attention went back to the adults standing in the doorway. "Do you really think that's us?" She whispered, just a teeny bit nervous again. Adults made her skittish. |

"Which is stupid. I mean just because vampire's are different doesn't mean they aren't people," Dante pointed out. People were just weird about that sort of thing naturally. When she mentioned being hit by the ball though, "You're alright though right?" He shrugged his shoulder's about their younger selves because he wasn't sure what to think about it beyond that. It was odd for them to have just showed up like that, and then to not know anything either added to the chaos of it. |

"The Auror's mostly. Their offices are there. My dad doesn't want me to end up being one." Ridiculous. He had gotten into the Ministry all on his own plenty of times and David had no idea. Glancing at the doorway he looked at the adults a moment and then nodded when he looked back at Harm. "I think so. It's really weird but I'm pretty sure it is us. Probably some accidental magic thing." |

"What are aurors? Are they bad?" Harm had only heard about them in passing now and again. When her testers talked about aurors it was always grumbling and they always had to stay in their rooms, dead quiet. But she was more focused on figuring out if those people really were their older selves. Tucking the cards carefully into the pocket of her dress, Harm stood up and reached for Dante's hand. Hearing that the adults were their older selves made her feel the need to apologize to him, and ask questions. Lots of questions. But she didn't want to be by herself, just in case they were just being tricked. "We're nine years in the future, really? That's...weird." |

"I know you think that way. That's a part of why I married you." Harm smiled, "But a lot of people don't." Even now, they still didn't. Harm thought it was really cute that he was worried about their plastic ball hurting her, and she leaned up to kiss him again, "Well I wouldn't be against you whacking that ball around, but I think I'll survive." Her younger self had gotten up though, so Harm had turned her attention back to that. |

"You should have seen yesterday. Me, Angel, and Kitty were playing pirates. The couch being the boat." Dante smiled as he recalled it. It was fun to see them so excited over the game and he definitely had fun too. When the younger two ventured over he was glad to see little Harm being a bit more trusting. "It is weird," he agreed. "But somehow true. I don't even know when you guys will be sent back." What if they didn't though? What if they just stayed? That would be a mess. Not to mention the consequences because wouldn't people start to miss them? |

"Auror's are good. They fight off evil basically. Like superheroes." Definitely a good thing. Without them the world would be in sheer chaos no doubt. Dante took Harm's hand as she led them over to the adults, and when his older self spoke he wasn't sure what to think. "Maybe it's okay if we don't go back," he told them. "At least for Harm." Even if his sister's could be bratty and annoying he still would miss them. His mom too but not David. |

"Oh. Then why wouldn't your daddy want you to be influenced by them?" Harm just didn't know how everything worked. She was just asking, waiting for him to tell her that she'd asked enough questions and she could just be quiet. She didn't think he would do that though, and it was because of that she kept asking. "Maybe I can stay with you?" She then suggested hoping that she wouldn't have to actually go back. "I'm sorry for biting you." She then apologized to Dante's older self, quietly. |

Harm had to laugh when Dante told her that they played pirates, "I swear, that's why we have kids. So you don't ever run out of playmates, right?" She loved that he was able to get down and just be with the kids without them feeling like he was an adult and it was awkward or unbelievable. His imagination fit with theirs still, and watching them play was fun. "Maybe there's a time limit, or there's something they're supposed to see, or something, and when they do, they disappear? I don't know." |

"Or something we have to see," Dante suggested. It could be either way so the possibilities were endless. It was still odd staring at his younger self and hearing his voice back at himself like that. He looked at Harm but he figured she'd have no problem with it. "You two can stay here till we can figure this out and get you back," he said, and then looked at little Harm. "It's alright. I should have known better. It wasn't really your fault." |

"He wants me to be a death-eater. That's the bad guys if you didn't know." Dante didn't want to though. He absolutely refused. He automatically tightened his hold on Harm's hand just a little bit when the question was raised if she could stay there. He knew he would probably, but he wanted her too. When his older self said they both could though, he loosened his grip and nodded. At least being at school he didn't have to worry about his parents wondering where he went. The teachers would just assume he skipped class again. Harm though...he wasn't sure. "Maybe you're supposed to see some kind of mistake that you didn't before." |

"I didn't know." Harm told him, eyebrows creased in confusion, "But you aren't a bad guy." He wasn't. He was being really sweet, and nice, and protective, and she liked him. But then again, she was considered a "bad guy" as well, so maybe it was like that? She knew basically nothing more than the little, ignorant bubble she was in. When Dante asked if they could stay, Harm could tell that Dante was worrying about it a little bit too, and she just squeezed his hand in reply, holding on when he loosened it. They could stay there...until it was time to go back. And she didn't want to go back. She liked it there, with Dante. Maybe they could just assume she went AWOL? She didn't actually like them sticking needles into her and making her drink things and other experimental techniques. She didn't want to go back. "I don't think marrying you would be a mistake." She whispered slightly, blushing a little bit. What kind of mistake? |
