Harm had walked into her room to get a sweatshirt; she was really, really cold. Today she wasn't feeling really well, but she honestly, at this point, was used to that. Twins wreaked havoc on her body, and seeing as her babies didn't like blood, she was constantly feeling weak. So today just seemed like every other day. When she walked in to see a rose on her pillow though, she couldn't help but smile, picking it up gently to read the scroll. The smile faded to one of confusion though, as she read the message. It wasn't from Dante, as she would have expected...unless he was playing a joke on her. They did that every once in a while. As she went to set the parchment back down on the bed, a sharp, potent jab went through her stomach, and she gasped, bending to the tremour, her hand pressing against her huge stomach. "Dante?!" |

Morgan hated the fact that he was getting used to being addressed by the name Dante. It was just... wrong. Completely was not supposed to happen. He was supposed to be called by his own name, by his own wife, at his own home. And yes, he was a little cranky. He was fed up with the switch thing, he had no idea what to do to fix it, he kept accidentally performing magic without meaning to, and... he was exhausted. Physically, he just felt drained. It wasn't like he didn't sleep or eat or anything. He was just so...weak. Yet, Harmony's call sounded rather urgent, so he yawned and forced himself to stand up off the couch and head into the bedroom. "What's wrong?" he asked, concerned. |

By the time Dante had gotten to the bathroom, Harm'd taken out her wand and cleaned up the mess on the floor. She hadn't gone through this with Angel, simply because of the whole potion mess, but it was pretty clear what was going on when her water broke. Maybe she had a little time? But good, because between contractions she had a lot to do. There was no time to freak out. When he walked in, she had walked over to the closet, pulling out the sweatshirt she'd wanted, and grabbing a few extra things to put in the bag she and Dante had packed to go to the hospital when time came. "My water just broke." She told him, pausing a moment to breathe. She fanned her face, a little wildly flushed despite her outward control. "Can you bring the girls to Rose, or Ella, or Jem? One of them should be at Escape. And then we can go to Mungo's..." That was when her calm ended, and she pressed her hands to her face instead, to shop the shaking, "Did we get the nursery set up? I don't have enough clothes, or diapers, we aren't ready, they weren't supposed to come now..." If it had simply been a contraction, she probably wouldn't have immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was going into labour. As it was, her water breaking made it pretty final. |

Morgan's eyes widened. Shit. Her water broke. Her water. Broke. She was having the twins, and Dante wasn't even there to witness it. It was honestly one of the things he hadn't even thought of, him being there when Dante's children were born. Damn it, this just wasn't right. It was supposed to be the twins' real father that was there on the day they were born. Not some guy in their real father's body. This whole thing was just way too out of hand. "Ok...ok... just... let's stay calm. Don't panic. I... we'll..." He couldn't help the nervous stammering because he was just so completely overwhelmed. "The nursery's fine," he managed to assure her. One thing at a time. If he just thought about one thing at a time, it wasn't so bad. "They'll have plenty of clothes, diapers and everything. And don't forget: if we need to get something else, we can always buy it. So no need to worry about that." He had to try to keep her calm. He walked over to her (wondering when a walk across a room had ever taken so much effort on his part) and put an arm around her shoulders. "It's all right. Just stay calm, it's ok, and we'll get you to the hospital just as soon as I bring the girls over to stay with someone." It didn't take long to get the girls together and quickly explain that they needed to go with Daddy because their new siblings were going to be here soon. And Morgan, using a great deal of effort, got them both with him to the fireplace where he used Floo powder to get to Escape, she had called it. Leaving them with one of the women there - he believed he had heard her called Jem - he came back with Rose to get Harm to the hospital. "Hey... ready to go?" he asked, offering his arm. "We're going to take the Floo because it's safer." And because he didn't know how to Apparate. Details. |

Harm had honestly expected Dante to freak out, and she felt a little better seeing it. That, at least, was something expected and known. It actually comforted her. As he went through the list of things that she had rattled off, Harm nodded, letting her hands leave her face as another contraction hitting her, her face screwed up in instant pain. Her hands had instead found themselves occupied in other places, one gripping the bedpost, the other pressed to her stomach. "Merlindamnit." Calm. Like he said. In, and out. She'd forgotten how much this hurt. Still, he gave her a little hug and then went off to take care of the girls, something else she had been worrying about. Thank merlin that was taken care of, and when she saw Rose, she laughed slightly, paling further than her normal lack of color, "Am I to repay the favour in a little bit?" Dante seemed anxious to go, but then again, the sooner she could get some pain medication, the happier she would be. So she took his arm, and grabbed their bag. |

From being woken up randomly because Jordan couldn't help but be completely hysterical when she called her, to being rushed out quickly, it was one of those no time to stop and breathe moments. Which Rose figured Dante needed to do. She didn't think he was going to stay calm but that was reasonable. At least she could help maybe. After he had showed up and explained in one quick sentence, she had already grabbed his arm to disapparate back. "Oh you know it," she laughed, in response to Harm's comment. Three more months. Three very long months at that. She figured after they left she'd follow after; the anxious mood Dante was in was rather catchy at this point. |

When Harm took his hand, that was when Morgan really started freaking out. This wasn't his moment; he shouldn't have been the one there. He was wishing more than ever that he could just tell people who he really was. But he couldn't. And he had to get them to the hospital. "All right. Shall we?" He lead Harmony gently to the fireplace, where he threw int a handful of the Floo powder and shouted, "St. Mungo's" firmly. "Ok, let's go..." |

--&&-- Keeping someone out of their room for the entire day was actually more difficult than he figured, but he had Kitty and Angel's help. From distractions like 'I don't feel good' to 'I'm hungry', they had done their job. Both of them were sitting on the floor looking at him while he looked over what he had been working on all day, and then he turned to them. They had definitely been waiting all day just to tell Harm she could even come into the room. "Thank you guys for helping today," Dante told them first. "Now you can go get your mom okay?" Angel was on her feet first but she took Kitty's hand so she could keep up. Once they left the room to find Harm, he stepped into the hall and shut the door behind himself to stand in front of it. It definitely wasn't hard to miss the two running down the stairs as excited as they were about being trusted with something like that. "Mum! Mum! You have to come upstairs," Angel insisted. "Please," Kitty added as she tugged on Harm's hand. Edited by Dante Morvanna, Nov 25 2009, 06:32 AM.

Harmony had been in the kitchen, routinely washing dishes. They had a dishwasher, but sometimes she did it herself, just to relax. As a mother of four, just sitting on the couch to relax didn't always go over so well because either she felt like she should have been doing something, or she'd just start to sink in when someone needed something. The twins were put to sleep, at least for the couple hours they would be until they wanted to be fed again, and she had just finished drying the last plate when the girls came running in. Dante had told her that they were going upstairs to play one of the card or board games, so she smiled at seeing them so excited. She didn't know for what though, but she put down the towel and let them lead her up the stairs, careful so that they didn't get too overexcited and trip. "Did you beat daddy at something?" She questioned, but received no answer, simply excited, enthusiastic faces. When they got up onto the hallway, Harm noticed Dante standing outside of their room, and she looked at him curiously, asking, "What's going on?" |

When he saw them come upstairs he nodded at the girls who both went to their own room knowing he was going to tell them whether the surprised work or not later. They had after-all wondered if she managed to sneak in while he had gone out a few times to get stuff he needed or forgotten, but as far as he knew Harm hadn't. "Come here." Dante took Harm's hand and guided her to stand in front of the door as he stood behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist. "So this is why I was here off and on all day," he explained first. "Go ahead. Open the door." Representations for everything were hard to find for some things, but he hoped he at least got most of it right. There was books scattered at one end of the room meant to represent his flat where they had talked before, general pictures of them and the kids on the walls all spaced out across the room, and the ice-cream place had been a bit more difficult to figure out. In the end he had used some of the plastic play ice-cream cones that Angel had and lined them up on the dresser. Over the headboard he had put the pictures from their wedding and he had found Harm's veil which he had draped over said headboard too. "Am I forgiven for disappearing for today?" Dante asked her with a grin. |

Harm watched with a little bit of confusion as the girls let go and went to their own room, calling a good night to them as they left, but she walked over to Dante obediently as he had asked her, a smile playing gently on her lips in result. "What are you up to now?" She asked, amusement, not trepidation, coloring her tone. She stood in front of her door, and leaned back against Dante as he wrapped his arms around her from behind, breathing in for a moment before she reached out to her knob, and swung it open. The sight that reached her eyes surprised her, and she stood there, eyes wide as she took it all in. Whatever she might have been expecting, it wasn't that, and immediately the smile that brightened her face became wider. As she caught the gist of the idea, the books, and the icecream cones made more sense, the pictures filling the room just bringing back great memories, and she turned in his grasp so that she could kiss him, her answer being a no-brainer. "Of course...this is amazing! What in the world gave you the thought process to do all this??" |

Dante smiled as Harm turned toward him and he kissed her back; glad that she did get it and liked it. "I just wanted to do something nice for you. I know we've been busy with the twins and everything and haven't had much time to actually go out anywhere, so I brought it here sort to speak." Some things got left out but some things it was a bit harder to find representations for, but basically it was all there. "This would be why the girls tried to keep you out of here at all costs today." |

Harm turned back around, taking Dante's hand instead so she could walk around and look at the set up and the pictures, reaching out to touch a few with smiles as she did so. "She was so tiny and you were so scared you were going to break her." Harm murmured, looking at a picture of when Angel was first born and Dante had just moved in. "She's so big now." Part of that was the potion, yes, but a lot of it was real growth as well. And then their entire family had grown, quadfold. "I love being a mom." She admitted, when he said they'd been too busy to go out, "But I do miss being able to just be out and about with you." So how much thought he'd put into the entire room set up was really incredible to her. "They were being particularly needy today..." She then realized, laughing a little. "Daddy's little helpers..." |

"I was afraid I'd do something wrong and either I'd hurt her or she'd hate me or something," Dante told her. Which now that he looked at it he had grown a lot more comfortable. He had actually just grown in general too. Through every single thing that had happened it was crazy how much time actually had gone by. When he thought about it too he realized just how much of an idiot he had been with that whole ship fiasco. It was easily one of those 'what I was thinking?' moments. Silver counted under that mess. With everything better again he refused to have any mention of what his sister's did around. He doubted they'd say he had the initial idea, but he didn't want to take a chance. "I never even thought I'd be a dad at all, let alone be lucky enough to be with someone like you." It was so weird how much things had changed. He was glad they had. He could honestly say he was happy. He grinned though when the girls got brought up. "I told them to give any excuse that would work. I'm pretty they've got enough to keep us both busy for a week or more," Dante said, laughing too. He then kissed her a moment and added, "I love you, Harm." |

"She adores you." Harm responded simply. Even before they had been together, Angel had taken to Dante pretty quickly, learning his name, calling for him and being all smiles when he was around. And then obviously, once Emma slipped them the potion, 'daddy' was soon following. He was great with the kids. His compliments made her beam at him, and she teased, "You know, most people would be insane to say they were lucky for being with an anal vampire." As for whether or not she thought she was going to be a mom? She didn't. She hadn't expected to have fallen in love with a human, she hadn't ever thought that she would even be able to have kids, and yet, she was blessed with both. "Oh, I think I've heard it all. I'm starving, I'm cold, I lost my 'this', or 'that', I found more puppies, I spilled something, I wanna show you me doing a cartwheel, Mummy watch me fly! Mummy read me this book, Mummy, look what I taught Dev..." Harm shook her head, but she was smiling nonetheless. She loved her kids, every waking moment of them, no matter how attention-needy they could be. She wasn't quite thinking about their kids while he kissed her though, and Harm comfortably wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing closer as she responded. "I love you too." She ended, the s mile fixing itself in place once again. |

"Yeah but just because you're a vampire doesn't mean that's all of who you are." That sort of thing was more like a title. It was there, sure, but it was just a title and it didn't make up who the person was. Other people could assume different if they wanted, but he was stuck on his opinion. He was also stuck on the fact if anyone was to insult Harm for such he defend her. "Kitty was the most excited to be trusted to help. I heard Angel giving her tips," Dante laughed. Leave it to Ang to get Kitty on her side. Both were excited all day though to actually be in on something. With a grin and the intent of surprising Harm, Dante took one arm from around her waist to instead go behind her knees as he picked her up only to gently lay her on the bed. He laid next to her on his side with his head propped up on his hand; the same ridiculous grin still in place. |

Harmony smiled as Dante defending her to herself. She had absolutely no idea how in the world he had come to the conclusion that she wasn't a monster, but he had, and she was grateful. Seeing their younger selves and how protective he already was of her, even at age really strengthened the truth of his statement. But he was right. She was a wife, a mother, a neighbor, a friend... She liked thinking about their girls a lot more than herself though, and her entire manner softened as she commented, "Kitty's really starting to progress too...She and Ang really do act like sisters and she's so sweet and polite, all the time. When Ang was telling me I had to come upstairs, Kitty made sure to add a please. It was adorable." It was with a surprised gasp a moment later that Harm's feet were being swept underneath her, and she laughed slightly as she was laid down on their bed. "Room service." She teased, grinning at him. "I don't even have to exert the effort to get onto our bed...excellent." |

"I'm glad Kat's actually talking. Those first weeks I was starting worry. I mean I know she had to adjust but she was just so quiet that it didn't seem alright. It's nice to see that Ang has been so great about having her around." He admittedly had been a little wary of Angel's reaction, and despite a few incidents at first they seemed alright. There was of course the normal sibling arguing, but that was just expected. He laughed along with her comment then. "Nope. You've been on your feet all day with all the girls excuses anyways. I think they'll let up tomorrow," Dante told her. "I think we're safe for a few hours right now." |

Harm nodded, "I think she was just so used to not being able to talk that she was hesitant about doing it. Between us and Angel she's more comfortable, I think. I just...love that you found her, Dante. I wasn't so sure about it at first. I was...worried about how Angel would take it. She views you as her father, you know, but she knows. I was a little worried she'd feel replaced but...they get along so well. And now we have four beautiful children." She really didn't know if she had been overstepping some unknown boundary with Kitty, but the fact of the matter was, she'd started caring for that little girl long before they'd known. Whenever Harm was over at Ella's, Kitty had even sat on her lap and having spent as much time with Angel and Kitty as she had....well, she viewed her as her own. Just as Dante had done to Angel, but they'd never talked about it. Harm had wanted Angel to have a father figure, and Dante was amazing with her. She specifically said she was okay with it, wanted it, even. Because of everything else that had happened at the same time... Oh well. Until Dante said otherwise, Harm just would continue naturally thinking of Kitty as one of her daughters. "Are they putting themselves to bed then?" Harm asked, scooting forward to cuddle next to him. "Or do we need to go tuck them in? Either way... thank you. This is amazing..." The smile on her face had changed to a softer one and she reached up and touched her veil, her eyes dropping down to her ring a moment later. Though she had been unsure about them for a little while, marrying him...really was the best thing. She was so happy with him, and he was great with their children, and just the fact that he would put in the effort to do little, random things like this? It was so sweet, and she loved it. |

"Kat still surprises me. I mean I never even knew she existed until Ryder told me. It's just not something you keep a secret from someone." It wasn't as if that could be changed now, but Kat was happy as far as he could tell, and she had grown more attached to Harm over the time she had been there. If he thought about he probably should he pried Ryder for whatever other answers he may have, but he was too shocked over the news to actually bother. It was more of get Kat and go home. Leaving the train of thought alone he was focused on the current conversation instead as he put his arm around Harmony's shoulder's. "I guess not, but I can take care of that," Dante replied. He did have her running around with all of the girl's excuses all day so he could at least take bedtime to do himself. |
