A small looking store from the outside, Delicato is in the center of town. It's filled with pastel colors and has everything from blankets to diapers to bottles, furniture to toys, and most of all, clothing - everything anyone could think of that you could ever possibly need for a baby. Alora led Llian into the store, grinning - she'd always loved this place, but never really had much of a reason to go in. "Welcome to babyland," she said, "We should probably head to clothes first? Or else...diapers? Or...I guess you can pick." |

Llian looked around in awe of all the stuff! "Who knew babies were so high-maintenance?" he remarked, only half joking as he walked around aimlessly a little. "Well, I guess we should get diapers first," he suggested. "Because clothes will be more fun." He looked down at Arram, who was still asleep. "I'm surprised he's staying asleep this long," he remarked. "Think he's all right?" he asked, concerned. |

Alora nodded, putting her arm on his shoulder reassuringly. "Babies need lots of sleep - and don't you worry, he'll definitely be awake later..." She smiled at him. "Most likely when you want to sleep." She shrugged, and headed off to where the diapers were. "Okay, there's a bunch of options here too." She was going to let Llian take some of the responsibility - Arram was, after all, in his care. |

"Yeah, you're probably right," Llian said. Suddenly thinking of something, he asked, "So do you think this means he'll be awake all night because he's been sleeping all day?" He shrugged a little, figuring he'd cross that bridge when he came to it. He then focused his attention to the millions of options of diapers. "Ok...er...wow...I didn't think there would be this many," he said. Glancing at them...for a long while...he finally picked up one brand that claimed to be ultra leakproof or whatever all that stuff was supposed to say. "And apparently there are different sizes." Looking at the package, he read, "well, this one's supposed to be for three months to six months...I guess that might fit, right?" Without waiting for Alora's opinion, he grabbed the size below and the size above just in case. "Can't be too careful," he said, throwing them in the cart. |

Alora only shook her head. "You really are something, Llian Eppes - babies are infamous for being up all night. Those look fine," she added, motioning to the diapers in the cart. "There's this many of everything - obviously you've never dealt with babies before." She watched him and Arram a moment before turning down into to the main aisle and heading away. Calling over her shoulder, she said, "Come on, clothes - clothes are going to be fun!" |

Llian laughed. "No, not really. I mean...I've held them before...but nothing that even remotely compares to this." Carrying Arram over to the clothes, Llian looked around and found that he liked almost everything. Well, it was hard not to like it...they were little tiny clothes! And then he realized that he had no idea what size he was. So, he lifted the baby up very gently and took a peek at the tags of the clothes he was wearing. Getting a note of the size, he put Arram back down. Surprisingly enough, the baby was still sleeping. "I really like this kid," he quipped jokingly. Going around, he started picking up little outfits and putting them in the cart, telling Alora the size so she could help him look. He had reached about ten or so outfits when he said, "All right...I think that's enough for now." But then the cutest little Christmas sweater caught his eye....and a few other things. Dumping them into the cart too, he said, "I think he might need a few more than that, right?" A small part of him was scolding, What are you doing? You're only trying to justify spending money.... But most of him didn't care. He normally lived extremely frugally, so it wasn't like he didn't have a lot of money to spend. And then the pajamas and blankets caught his eye, and he bean heading over there.... |

Alora laughed out loud and followed him as he picked out clothes - she grabbed several outfits that caught her eyes as well, and put them in the cart - her pile wasn't quite as tall as his but there were quite a few. "You're enjoying this far too much, Llian Eppes," she said. "I think you've already fallen for this kid - and I can't wait to hear your reaction to your first night when he won't stop crying." She didn't want to ask him what he'd do when they found out what to do with him, because she could tell he didn't want to think about that right now. He was just enjoying time with Arram. Who was she to ruin that? And she also didn't feel like telling him he was going overboard on the clothes, because she didn't know how to ask him to stop - there was nothing wrong with it, persay, and she didn't really know what he'd say when he realized all the money he was spending. She grinned and headed with him towards the blankets and sleepwear. "Going to get him a million things over here too?" she asked, grabbing a soft, fleecy, knit blue blanket and rubbing it gently against his cheek before she tossed it into the cart. "I have to admit, if there's anyone perfect for looking after this kid, it's got to be you - you're going all out! He's going to be the best-dressed baby in Italy." Shaking her head slightly she watched Arram a moment, and saw him stir. "He might wake up soon," she said, slowly. "But I dunno - guess it's a wait-and-see thing?" She shrugged, and grabbed a blue and white sleeper, putting it into the cart. |

Llian grinned back at Alora. "I might be enjoying this far too much...but the best-dressed baby in Italy? Well, that is flattering indeed," he laughed. "Nice blanket, by the way," he said. "And of course I'm getting a bunch of stuff over here!" he said. "After all, he needs somewhere to sleep, doesn't he?" he asked. The cribs were catching his eye, and he moved over to them. "These are nice...what about this one?" he asked, pointing to a nice mahogany one. |

Alora followed after him hurriedly and put her hand on the carrier. "Let's not get too carried away, shall we?" she asked, hesitantly - cribs were expensive, and he was only going to be looking after him for a few weeks. "It's not like you're adopting him and keeping him, you don't need to furnish a whole room for him." She knew that might not be what Llian wanted to hear but she didn't want him spending so many galleons on a beautiful mahogany crib for a baby he wasn't going to keep. "Llian, I'm sorry -" She already felt she had to apologize for her words to him. And she couldn't exactly judge his immediate reaction, but still... "How about toys?" she asked, eager to distract him from her words. |

Llian shrugged. "No, there's nothing to be sorry for," he told her. "I mean...you're right. I'm only keeping him for a few weeks." For some reason, that thought wasn't sitting with him extremely well. "But, of course, he does have to sleep somewhere,' he said. Eventually he decided on a less expensive one and happily moved onto toys. Many toys and other supplies later, he and Alora finally left the store. Alora headed back to HQ, and Llian went back to Marina's house with Arram and all the supplies. |
