"I don't even care about them. It's amusement enough that they have to sit and worry about where you could be," Malius told her, grinning. How long would it take before they had any ideas? He hoped it'd be a while. If he had more time.. But as Abi ranted on, he was growing more and more frustrated. Did she think he honestly cared? That he wanted to listen to that crap? Instead he went against what he thought he might not do, and slapped her. "I don't care about where you belong, Abira, because when I get done with you? I doubt you'll be going back as the person you left as." Malius didn't care how Abi took it. It just mattered the threat was there and he was serious. |

As he slapped her, Abi clapped her hand up to her cheek, stumbling backwards a bit. Instantly once more, she bit her lip, trying to stifle a cry. Was she surprised that Malius had hit her? In retrospect, not really. It still had surprised her in that moment, particularly when he was apparently this unhinged. Quietly, keeping her hand on her cheek--the left hand, so as to let her rings glint in the dim light. "Feel better, now?" She asked, quietly bitter as she slowly stood back up again. "Now that you've proved you can hurt me?" She slowly let her hand dropped, quivering at his words and yet slowly walking towards him. "Oh come on." She stopped, her lip still humming with somber fear. "We know how this ends. You say more masochistic things, I glare and retort, you don't listen, and then you lose your nerve, and flee as the cavalry arrives." She explained it quietly, still meeting his eyes. She didn't want to realize that...he'd never taken her somewhere else before. And he'd already said he'd send her back. Just not the same as she arrived. This was different. And that was terrifying. |

Malius all but laughed at Abi's comment. "I already knew I could hurt you." Did she think he honestly couldn't? He'd prove he could if she tried to doubt that. "See that's not how it's going to happen this time," he reminded her. "You're somewhere no one's going to think to look for you, and by the time they do find you? I think I've reminded you of that already." As Malius took a step closer to her, the look in his eyes changed and it seemed like something more dangerous. "If I have to....the imperious will always get you to listen." |

His laugh was absolutely chilling, Abi had to think to herself as he once again approached her. She decided to stay stationary, at least until she was absolutely positive she had no way of getting his wand, or physically fighting back. Did he have to be so much...larger than her? They were alone. There was no more Drew...and yet, she still had no way of fighting back, not when he was the one with the wand, and physically stronger. The laugh was bad enough, but the look in his eyes? It terrified her to the point where her throat went entirely dry. He could hurt her. A lot. And she knew he had...she'd seen the scars on Tristan, seen, in fact, some of them inflicted herself. "I know you can." She shook slightly as he looked at her with that carnivorous smirk that seemed to undress her with his eyes. "Does that make you feel like a man, Malius?" She asked semi-sweetly, the effect a bit lost considering her current terror. "You bring me out here, tell me I have no choice, locked away, and you'd have to imperiuse me, to get a woman?" She lowered the mocking tone a bit, taunting him. "That's pretty elaborate. Why not just try the bar, Malius?" There was a slight pause, where she put the tip of her finger on her chin. "Oh that's right." She play acted as though a lightbulb went off. "You're wanted for murder, and other crimes, aren't you? Hardly the best dinner conversation, I suppose. More of a third or fourth date kind of revelation, I imagine..." |

Malius glared at Abi, letting her talk though he would have rather done something right then. Who was she to talk to him like that? She obviously had no room to talk considering the current situation. "You know what? I'm sick and tired of your attitude. You'd think you'd treat me with a bit more respect considering you're stuck here." Malius had turned around and walked back near the chair he had been sitting on, but that was only to create distance. As he turned back around to look at Abi, he had taken out his wand. Enough was enough. "Crucio!" |

"Respect? What the hell have you done to earn my respect?" Abi asked furiously as he turned his back on her. That scared her a bit, even as she attempted to find something to chuck at him. She froze, however, as he turned back with his wand and cast the spell before she'd had any sort time to respond. As it hit her, her knees immediately buckled. If she was capable of thinking at that moment, she might have reflected that there was a reason this curse was illegal after all...but she wasn't capable. It was white hot pain, as though her very bones were enflamed. She screamed, instantly, not attempting in the slightest to hold it in. It wasn't like it would have helped her to hold it back--and she was incapable of doing so anyways. Her body was still recovering from childbirth, the train, and the SKM, thank-you-very-much....there was no need for this. In addition to the flames--as if that wasn't enough, it felt a bit as though knives were applied as well, deadening her senses to lose herself in the sensation of pain. Biting her lip, she finally ceased screaming, although she'd fallen to her knees and remained there, shaking in pain and disgust, with absolutely no end in sight. He'd never cruciated her before. She'd seen him do it, she'd seen others in pain...always because of her, but never her. He'd always had some weird obsession with making her watch...and she'd envied them! She'd envied those that might actually die and be free of him...it seemed he wouldn't drop dead himself. Of course, the envy paled in comparison to her overwhelming hatred, but still. Part of her wanted to die, right then. She welcomed it. |

Malius watched as Abi fell to her knees, but he didn't lift the curse for a minute or two. He could have said he enjoyed it. It wasn't his pain, it was someone else's. It was an easy way to take out his anger and his frustration out on someone else. He walked over to where Abi was, and crouched in front of her with a sickening grin on his lips. Malius made sure to keep his wand in hand still though. As if he'd trust that one spell to have managed to stop Abi from trying anything. "I think now you'll be talking to me a bit nicer, won't you?" he snapped. The fact he was back in control of a situation was probably another reason he didn't even bother to question how far was too far. What did it matter? |

As Malius bent over her, Abi's bitten lip protested her habitual inclination for once. It seemed a bit silly, after all, to continue to inflict pain on her own self, with her bones still on fire. He had left the curse in place long enough to have snatched her breath--but nothing else, once she was free of it. Her rationale returned, a bit slowly. Envisioning Malius, though he tormented her, as the master of this would only give him it. He would not break her. She refused. Why did he come back? What was this situation--this twisted thing between them that he would not just leave well enough alone? What the hell did he hope to accomplish? Sending her back...different? So it was inevitable that she be returned or escaped, he wasn't torturing her for information, but then, nor was he kissing her..there was no prediction or even a twisted sort of motivation for his actions. He just seemed angry. Out of control, as though he'd finally cracked and had it. It had a bit of a death-threatening effect on her, considering it both terrified her...and pissed her off. What- she was just, that easy then, to grab and use? "Go to hell." She spat, holding his gaze as best she could, not moving. |

Malius grinned but he didn't react like he normally would. Instead he stood up and went back to where he had been sitting. Though he didn't sit down or put his wand away, he didn't do anything else; Sometimes a persons reaction to situations was interesting, and in this case he wondered what Abi might take the silence as. Only one way to find out... |

A very, very, tiny smile crossed Abi's face as he smirked and...left. Alright. So fighting back wasn't a complete death wish then. And clearly, he wasn't completely deranged. Or if he was--and the thought was a bit comforting--he wouldn't be attacking her for fighting back at the very least. She wasn't quite sure which it was. Or what was going on. Why couldn't he have just left her damn well alone then? She was going out of her mind with worry about what Tristan must be thinking, what Krysi, and probably even Morgan by now. She missed them all, particularly as it couldn't have been long before they'd discovered her missing. Time seemed to have, however, ceased existing for her. She wasn't sure how much time had passed at all. But most of all? She missed Drew and Anya. That felt a bit weird to be realizing---for after all this time, when no one mattered more to her than her husband, her family, that Tristan wasn't her number one priority anymore. She couldn't understand it, and yet- she could. Yes, she missed her brother in law and her soon-to-be sister in law. And yes, she missed Tristan rather extensively, knowing he was most likely very worried for her. But he couldn't, she assumed, imagine the fact that having their kids in his arms, safe, made her feel a lot better. A lot safer to know that they were all right. That she wasn't endanger of losing either of them...no, Malius was not going to steal them from her. Any of them. What the hell had given him the right to do this, anyways? As he stood apart from her with his wand stil drawn, she bit her protesting sore lip, and drew in a shaky breath. "Am I even going to know why I'm here?" She paused, and then decided to just draw at straws. "Did Voldemort tell you to?" Drew and Anya were prevalent on her mind, as was trying, somehow, to get through to Ella via the mark. If the mark meant that she couldn't contact Kevin, then shouldn't she somehow be able to contact Ella? Deciding she'd have to try, she put the sorely painful mark behind her back, rubbing it anxiously. She had no idea how the damn thing worked; only that if it worked at all, she might not be seeing Malius in front of her shortly--whatever it was Ella was feeling instead. She must have felt the crucio...right? Damn't, right? As she tried, she decided that asking questions was hardly the worst she could really do to hurt her here. "How did you get in? How did you apparate out? I do have wards you know." |

"You're here because I want you here," Malius told her. As if he was going to give her a completely straight answer, or tell her everything that had happened over the past few days. He didn't need her input on the matter. She was here simply for his own revenge. Against Abi in a way, yes, but to get his frustration out about another situation. One that was still on his mind, and one he knew would get to him eventually. "Your wards apparently aren't working." Malius had his guess as to why they didn't work, but was he going to sit and explain that to Abi? Never. Not when that meant he might have an easier chance of getting in again at a later time. |

"Obviously." Abi said just as snappishly as before, trying to ignore the tiny shivers wracking her small frame. It pained her to admit he was actually correct- about the wards, and about why she was there. No- she wasn't naive enough to believe that was his actual motivation, but it was true. She was there, because he wanted her to be there and she'd had no damn way of stopping him. The bitter truth of that was disheartening. Why hadn't she been able to stop it? And what was she possibly able to do now? So she did nothing, just crossed her arms and waited. |

"Make your self at home. It is yours for some time." Malius went to the door and quietly said a spell, making sure Abi didn't hear a word. It didn't matter if he left her there for some time. She couldn't get out anyways, and no one knew where she was. As if he was going to stay stuck in there with her at all times. As soon as he was in the hall, Malius put his wand to the door and sealed it up again. Perfect. After that he simply disapparated. |

Having been prepared for him to curse or kiss her...he once again did something entirely unexpected. He left. Blinking rapidly and furiously, she moved to the door and slammed up against it. "HEY!" She yelled, even though she knew she was alone. He was gone. He'd left her there. Locked up. Probably with severely low rations and even less to wear. Glaring, she first backed up and went into the opposing rooms, turning them over for something to wear. Finding one of them to have surprising amounts of female clothes...suspiciously about her size, although a bit wrong...she donned jeans and a tee as fast as humanly possible. Her hair, she brushed back and tied out of her eyes. Alright. Now that she was a bit cleaned up, and at least alone...she could breathe. She could think. If she could figure out where she was, she might be able to get some sort of message at least. There was a newspaper in the corner. ...It was written in french. Alright. France then. Well, damn't. She'd literally clean up left the country. Picking it up, she shook a few moments as she ran her hand over the inked parchment. Now, why the hell hadn't she taken french? Where was Kev when she needed him, anyways? Not there, clearly. Oh no. Because Ella was in her mind. Ella, who probably should be her mortal enemy...it was Ella she had to contact. With a blink, she thought to herself...she was only a few hours of sleep away from her monotones returning, at least a bit. Unless she had Pepper-Up...then she could use them now. But did she trust anything in the flat? Most absolutely not. France. France. She was in France, merlin knew where, alone. Locked in. Wandless. And Malius Raziel knew exactly where she was, able to return at who knew what time, to do who knew what. Well. This was bad on so many levels. Eventually, she shut herself up in the bedroom, locking the door with as much of the food as she could, and dragging a few of the pieces of furniture in front of it. Would it keep Malius out? Of course not. Did she care all that much? Nope. |

Ella knew she had been in the living room but...she fell? No, she had. She was dizzy and something had happened and she fell. Of course she never got the chance to know if Ryder heard and came to see what was wrong, because everything went black. Though it scared the living hell out of her, El realized a second later she wasn't in the same place. This wasn't the living room. This wasn't....Ella lifted her hands to her face to see, but they weren't the same. Drawing in a shocked gasp, she raced to the bathroom that was thankfully adjacent to the room, and paused in front of the mirror. The only thought that crossed her mind? I'm not me. The mark. It had to be. Just as El gripped the edge of the sink to hold herself up due to shock, the horrid feeling was back. Everything was black again. |

Biting her lip, she realized that she'd somehow gotten to the bathroom. Blinking in shock, as Abi saw herself in the mirror again, she realized what had just happened. Ella had taken her over somehow...she didn't even know where she'd been. But she was back now, and Ella had been here. Not knowing if or how she could trigger it again left a predicament. If Malius was to return and find some sort of note, she could be in a lot more trouble than she already was in. For one thing, he could move her again. No, you never left the captor aware of your ability to escape, not if you could find a way to hide it. So how to leave the note? Blinking, she suddenly got an idea. Slamming the door shut, and the shower curtain rings back with a squeak, she turned about twenty knobs on the shower without any idea was the right one. Red hot water poured free, loosing steam across the room. She tumbled back, coughing from the sudden heat and tightened her hair tie. After a few minutes, the entire room was filled to the brim with hot water. Perspiring slightly, she pulled the curtain back, letting the steady beat of the shower keep her focused. Grabbing a piece of soap, she hurriedly wrote in the mirror, "Ella. If you read this, write back immediately. Just turn on the shower and I'll be able to read any messages you leave. It's Abi. Malius has me, wherever here is. Hel-." The film formed a quick cake on the shimmery mirror. There were a few seconds before Abi realized the world was dimming again, and she rubbed the mark anxiously. Ella, come on... |

Ella had been talking to Jordan, at least she thought she had. That was before the odd feeling came back and she was left in the dark. When it was gone? Ugh again? At least she was in the bathroom she had left, but in this case she realized how hot it was in the room. Then Ella caught notice of the mirror and read it through twice before erasing it and grabbing the soap to write back. I kind of figured it was you. But Malius? What does the place look like? Anything you can figure out from stuff in the rooms? The constant back and forth was definately going to end in a headache, but it couldn't be helped. And she realized everything was fading out once again.. Edited by Ella Morvanna, Nov 10 2008, 11:45 PM.

It was beginning to really be a problem for her not knowing where she was half the time. Looking up in shock again as the world flooded back into color, she smiled slightly, breathing hard. There was a response. Turning on the shower again, she re-fogged the mirror. Scratching into it, she wrote back, France, according to the paper. It's small, a flat. I'm a few floors up. Can you tell Tristan? She sat back, and hoisted back up onto the counter, waiting. She was barefoot, having slipped out of the heels, and was dangling her jeans and feet. It felt a lot better to be doing something, instead of sitting. |

To be outside walking and switch? Not the best experence in the world. Ella sighed as she read the message and then did everything needed so she could write a reply. She did have an idea of where Abi was but...Why tell? It could have been a bad thought to have, but she had it all the same. Sure. I'll tell him if I can find him. Ella was all too glad though when things faded again and she knew she'd be herself again. |

Breathing a little bit easier as she rubbed away the message, Abi stood backwards, and threw her hand into the shower. Dousing the mark seemed to ease it's throbbing, as it was a bit of a bright red dark glimmer. With a sigh, she looked at the perspiration off her arms and neck, rubbing at it with her free hand and sighed. She didn't know if there was a way to ensure that they stopped switching now...but she knew that it was far better that Tristan know in the end. How Ella would tell him, she didn't have the foggiest idea. Ha. Foggiest. She kept the water running, falling to her knees (and then to her butt), and keeping her hand in the marble tub. Sliding her feet on the marble she buried her head into her knees and sighed. She couldn't just wait...but she had to pause. Pause and breathe. |
