"You could stay at Escape. My sister's are usually there but since my dad said we aren't kicked out anymore they've been staying at home instead. Besides, if there was any need to hide quickly, there's all kinds of passage ways in that house." She was sure Jordan was only at Escape occasionally and Rose was more apt to stay home. It was a big enough place that they probably wouldn't even notice considering Ella herself had gone unnoticed before. "Or Ireland. I know a place there." Eileen of all people wouldn't question it. Except the fact Juliette was there and after saying it she wasn't sure that was the best suggestion, but did he expect Juls to not be around her? "I've been hiding out for years basically. Not going out isn't much of a difference." |

Faustus shook his head. "No no, I`m really not going to stay at any place you know. Don`t take it personally, but... I`m not looking forwards to meeting anyone you know." he said apologetically. He really had no intentions to meet her sister or her father or any of that sort. Besides, there was Ophelia. She`d come to see him and that would probably end in a disaster. "Adding to that... I`m pretty sure that your family members wouldn`t like to meet my mother." he said lightly. No, his mother would freak out if she knew what he did. That he actually let his feelings take the better of him. She would absolutely freak out. That was why he preferred her not knowing. He softly touched her cheek. He didn`t feel like himself, but he liked feeling that way. So much different and yet somehow the same. He wasn`t forcing her and she accepted his touches. Even if Emily was somehow alike, this felt completely different. So much better. "I never thought that I would end up being like this." he spoke in a completely different voice, seriously, not even smiling anymore. "You have no idea how hard it was for me to keep trying to leave you. But I kept trying because I didn`t want to lose everything I had... But feelings won and now? I`m not even sure if that`s a bad thing." |

"Well, then we'll just pick somewhere at random and where-ever we end up, we end up." That could be fun depending on where it was they ended up if that was the choice. At the mention of families however she couldn't help but laugh. "You know what's weird? Out of everyone I think you're the only one my dad would actually approve of." He had approved of Ryan sure but that....didn't count. As Faustus touched her cheek she smiled again but anymore that was redundant. "I don't think it's a bad thing. I think it's reasonable to be scared because....sometimes I wasn't sure either. Then when I was sure about it all I tried to fight for it and convince you I guess that it was okay. If that makes any sense." |

Faustus frowned a bit. "Ella..." he spoke slowly and then shook his head. "I`m... I`m not going to take you with me." he said as he silently moved his hand away from her waist and glanced shortly at the building yet once again. He could sense a threat from it. The fact that he was even in that place seemed ridiculous to him. But it wasn`t going to take long. "I can`t. Not now and not after all this." he nodded towards the HQ. Emily had seen what happened. She wouldn`t actually stay silent about it, he was sure. "I will leave for a bit. Alone. Until all the mess that might happen will be over." he tried to explain it the best he could, but it was probably hopeless. And he knew his mother wouldn`t approve. Damn, his mother wouldn`t approve of any girl, his mother hated feelings. Their ruined her life. So, he made a mental note to keep it all away from her. It would only be for the better. But since he had never lied to his mother before? Well, it would probably be pretty hard. |

Even if she didn't like the idea she figured it was reasonable enough. Nobody was going to be happy about them, that much she figured. She hadn't said anything to anyone and she certainly wouldn't now. There was still hesitation to just simply agree because of the last threat of just leaving at St. Mungos, but as long as he ended up coming back at some point then that was good right? There was still the phantom pain from the mark that wasn't there anymore though that reminded her of that incident. "As long as you promise you'll come back," Ella told him. Promises were usually silly things people didn't believe in, but in this case she didn't think it was. "And while you're gone I'll get another wand to replace mine." Here she thought she was done with magic and yet she wasn't arguing against getting another wand or anything. Her reasons against magic didn't seem as realistic as they used to anyways. |

Faustus nodded. It was good to know that she wasn`t going to fight that decision. Because he almost feared that she would. He didn`t want another argument, they seemed to have enough already. Ending this relationship seemed to be pointless, so he knew he wasn`t going to even try again, but if they argued he also knew he might get angry and hurting her wasn`t really a nice thought. "How could I not?" he asked her, stepping closer again, putting his both hands around her waist and pulling her close to him, so that he could feel her body warmth. He had never done anything like that, but he knew that it would feel good. And it did. "After all what happened? How could I not come back?" it wasn`t even possible and he knew so. He already was stripped off all of his armor in front of her. What worse could happen? And it was good to know that she was going to get herself a wand. Just in case. Because what could she even do without it? "I still can`t understand why you gave up on magic... it`s something too good to give up on." he murmured. Something told him that he had to make the best of that moment, because he wasn`t sure when would he see her again. |

Ella was glad that at least one thing was going right for a change. She hadn't really felt anything for months. It was after the incident with the ship that she had started feeling so badly and up until then she hadn't really been able to say she was actually happy. But him holding her the way he was and the way she simply leaned against him was comforting. "Good." It was odd maybe to think she'd miss him while he was gone, but things were different. She didn't have to lie or cover up what she actually wanted to say, and that alone was a good feeling. "Someone...well he didn't use magic. Not really. He always had these weird rants about how there was more to life than magic and how we can do things without it. I guess after he disappeared I just thought it was a good thing to listen to. It doesn't make sense to me anymore, but its been almost two years since then so I would think it would." She hadn't liked to talk about that at all, but it wasn't such a bother anymore. |

Faustus listened to her in silence. After she was finished he put his finger under her chin and pulled her face a bit up, so that he could look directly into her eyes. "You are not supposed to give up on who you are. Never. It will drench you if you try to change your nature. You are magic. Do you have any idea how many Muggles would give up their own life to do things that we can? That you can?" he asked her. He couldn`t imagine himself without magic. Without the power he had. Without himself. And in his mind giving up on it would be equal to dying. To giving up yourself. "Do you know what is the closest thing that Muggles can have to magic?" he questioned. And he couldn`t believe how true those words were even to him. Maybe keeping everything to himself did a bad thing - sometimes he simply stopped believing in obvious truths. "It`s love." he found himself smiling a bit. Who could have ever thought that such words would come from a man who killed many, just to prove someone that he could do so? In some way he and Ella had much more in common than it seemed. It all started with a simple need to prove others wrong. "And you... you can have both." He leaned down and his lips softly touched hers. It was a short, but sincere gesture. "Why would you want to give up on that?" he wanted to make her see. To understand the world his way. And for once, to actually be honest of what he was feeling. "To give up on me... and I need someone to believe in me." |

It made sense really as she listened to him. Both sides made sense. At the time no magic had just made the most sense and now it just seemed....silly. It seemed like a dumb move when she thought about all the times something could have gone wrong and she would have needed a wand. No wand and no defense. She shook her head at the question, but he answered it and she was a bit surprised. To hear that coming from him was the surprise. Ella lightly kissed him back, only responding once he had finished. "It just seemed like it made the most sense back then. Like it would fix everything," she told him, smiling. "But I'm not giving up on anything anymore. Especially not you." She never knew what to expect every-time she had gone to see him, and that was proving the same right then. From what happened in the common room to standing on the porch like they were--it wasn't expected. Even so she was glad for it. Glad he didn't care about putting up a front anymore. Maybe it would be alright. |

Faustus had no idea why she trusted him. Of all people, why him? He did horrible things and he wasn`t afraid to admit it. And he wasn`t sorry for what he did. Except those things that he did to her. He did hurt her in all possible ways through such short time. And only because he was fighting with himself. He really hoped that now since he stopped, he wouldn`t hurt her again. Silently he pulled back a bit and put his hand in a pocket. He wanted her to trust him and to actually believe in him. It all started because his father didn`t think he could be worth a thing. Only because people didn`t believe in him. Now as there was such person he wondered if he`d stop doing what he was used to. Then again... it became his nature. With a small smile he pulled out his wand. "Just to make sure that... you won`t forget." he explained as he stretched the wand towards her. He loved that wand. It did everything absolutely perfectly. Listened to him, obliged his every wish, sometimes without even saying the spell. He hoped it would do the same to her. |

"I won't." Seeing the offered wand caught her by surprise, something that seemed to usually happen, but if he trusted her with it then that was something. On one hand she wanted to argue that he might need it, but she didn't want to argue over anything. There had been way too much of that as it was. "Just stay safe," Ella told him as she took the wand. Once it all blew over it'd be fine. She felt bad for what happened to Emily but that honestly seemed so distant compared to right then. |

Faustus laughed silently. "And you are the one to tell me to stay safe?" he shook his head, still laughing a bit. "You`re the one who came headfirst to the lion first. The lion only accepted you after a long struggle." he smiled to her. It was somehow like that. After all, only very few people would actually agree to be around him on their own will. Every single thing that had to do with them was much different from anyone else. She wasn`t exactly evil - truly evil people never tried to get on the good side. She had. But she failed. That meant she had some light left in herself. And he... he was sure he wouldn`t even try. He looked around. The sun was rising. How long had they been there? Talking. It didn`t seem possible to Faustus. That he could stay around one person for so long and not get bored. And the fact that he had to leave? He hated it. "I should go." he murmured looking down at her. |

"Well the lion put up a pretty good fight I have to say," Ella told him, putting the wand in her back pocket for now. "Besides, who do I have to worry about? Emily? You're the one with the Auror's who would be glad to arrest you." At least it had been so long she didn't have that to worry about. At least she figured she didn't. She hadn't even realized they had stood there talking so long till he finally mentioned that he should leave. There was more distracting things to pay attention to then what time it happened to be. "Unfortunately, yeah. Even if I don't want you to." Before long just standing there talking wasn't going to work. Not if Emily came out or something. |

Faustus couldn`t help but laugh at her words. "Aurors?" he asked and shook his head. "They aren`t as strong as they once used to be. They aren`t even trying to catch the 'bad guys' anymore. You have no idea how many crimes are simply ignored." he pointed out. And he was right. When was the last time Aurors did an actual job? He felt that soon all Wizarding world would be full of black magic and there was nothing to do anymore. "As for you..." he sighed and faked a small smile. "Too bad that your allies are more cruel to those of their own than to the real villains." He didn`t want to even think that she might be in danger, but Emily... if Emily said anything, he didn`t want Ella to be in trouble. Her last comment made him smile for real. "To be honest? It amazes me that... neither do I. You have no idea how much this changes me." Being honest around people was different to him. How many times had he said what he really felt? It must have been only very few. And he liked not having to lie. Not having to pretend that he had no feelings. He picked up his hand and it slid into her hair as he pulled her face closer to his. Faustus wanted to make sure that he wouldn`t forget why was he even doing all that. The kiss ended up being passionate and yet somehow rough - he wanted to take more than he could. Pulling away from her he breathed out, waiting for his insides to stop screaming with passion. He couldn`t believe that he was about to throw all that away. "I`ll see you soon." he spoke as he pulled away from her, smiling a bit. He didn`t say goodbye, because he had said his last goodbye way before. Instead he just took few more steps backwards and apparated away. |

And yet they all probably had some excuse that they had more important things to be dealing with. No wonder things were falling to shambles these days. At least from what she could see anyways. This wondering if someone was going to say something wasn't as big of a threat as she figured she should think it was. She could take care of herself, she had been doing it for years now after-all. "I'll be fine." Well she had a wand now at least. His wand. As he kissed her though she didn't want it to end. When it did she knew he was leaving, but at least this time she knew he was actually coming back eventually. Which the way he said he was leaving was also a reassurance. After Faustus was gone, Ella turned to look at HQ and then shook her head. She definitely wasn't going to go back in there any-time soon. She checked she had the wand still, not yet being used to carrying one around again, and walked down the steps off the porch. She didn't have to walk the entire way home either or side--apparate with someone like she had done to get to Eileen's though. She was going to use magic again. Okay...it's not that hard. You can't just forget how to. Keeping that train of thought she kept where she needed go in mind before turning on her heel and disapparating. |

Emily was sitting atop the bench at Headquarters, legs tucked neatly beneath her robes, perfectly manicured nails sitting atop the arm rest. She had been waiting at the Headquarters to see if anyone turned up something on the Missing Persons, her adopted daughter being one of them. Emily was honestly frantic. Her make-up was only half done, her hair hung quite oddly around her face. Learning to do her own hair was turning out to be much more of a problem without the house-elves than she'd thought, but it wasn't that, that caused her frantic, paranoid state. It was the fact that her daughter was missing. When she'd signed on to be a parent, she hadn't fully thought it through, she supposed. At the same time, she'd wanted to adopt Murphy at first because of the virus. Because she wanted to be there for Murphy, and the worry just was set in at first. The fact that she loved her daughter was just as real to her as the anxiety and fear of the fact that it was impossible. All of it was impossible. |

It was actually crazy how once she thought about everything she hadn't told Emily she realized just how much stuff there was. It wasn't fair to keep secrets like that. Not the amount she had been keeping anyways. Even if some of it was things before she ever met Emily, Murphy figured Em had every right to know. After the incident with the whole fake tour company and that insanity, she had laid low at her old house. Probably should have let someone know she was fine first, but she hadn't come to that conclusion soon enough. Murphy walked up to headquarters intending to find someone to tell but instead she saw Emily. Dumb luck or just stupid luck? Either or... Emily didn't look so good. "Hey, wow. Okay maybe I should have stopped and saw you first before I decided to hide out from the lunatics." Not that she thought they would do anything further after that weekend, but a little space and security in her old house had sounded like a really good idea. As a after thought she tucked the necklace given to her by Faustus into her shirt to avoid that trouble, but she assumed hiding it too late wouldn't do any good now. |

Startled to see the very person she wanted to see most, Emily jumped up and hugged her daughter to her, laughing slightly at the remark. "Maybe a little." She responded simply, grinning back as she released her gently. "I mean, I knew they'd...found everyone, or I guess that everyone had been returned, front page of the Prophet, but.." Didn't stop her from worrying. Emily had to admit she probably was a very worrisome person. Blinking down for a second to spot a necklace disappearing she added in surprise, "What's that?" And then she looked back up again adding, "And what happened? Are you all right? Do you need to go to Mungo's or anything?" Now a keen, critical appraising eye was replacing her worried look as though she was checking to see if she should take her anyways, despite the fact that ever since Murphy had aged a bit she wanted to take into account that they were really more like sisters, despite the legal paperwork. |

"Yeah talk about making the headlines." Not in such a good way for that matter. "When they say don't answer your door to those really weird sales people? They mean it. Everyone seriously thought it was just a tour to a ghost town. Like hell it was. But I'm fine, I promise. I hung around with some guy named Parker? He was nice." She had at least summed up that she was fine in that entire explanation, but when Emily inquired about the necklace she bit her lip out of habit. "It's...a gift kind of?" She was stalling which she knew. "Faustus gave it to me. Don't flip out okay? It's safe. Pretty little necklace for when he has to get in touch with me." Murphy took out to show just so Emily could see. She thought it was pretty anyways, and he hadn't actually gotten in touch with her since the potion anyways. "I'm glad you're here anyways because....there's some stuff I haven't told you. That I haven't told anyone. I trust you basically." |

In spite of herself, in spite of her worry, Emily had to laugh at the comment and hug her again. Yes, they certainly made the headlines. It was such an interesting story, wasn't it? A fake although looking legitimate touring company terrorizes and brutally assaults it's tourists and reunites the living at the end? Emily shook again slightly, thinking about it, and backed off a moment later. "Well, then I have to thank this Parker." Emily said with a shrug. "What's his last name?" Incoming fruit basket. She backed all the way up at the remark about the necklace and her eyebrows immediately skyrocketed. "Faustus...Severio? Wanted for about a half dozen crimes?" The lightest of which still made Emily's blood boil, her voice shaking slightly over the name Severio. Emily got most of her news through Abi and the Prophet, and that was fine enough for her. She knew full well she'd be terrified in any other circumstance. Tilting her head however, she pushed past that as her scared and nervous look gave way to soft appreciation. "Of course. You can tell me anything, Murph." She turned around for a second, gesturing they both could sit down on the swing. "I won't tell." She was slightly concerned with the seriousness of the topic, but she nodded and sat down anyways, curious. |
