Alison held out her injured hand, finding it hard to keep from moving it. By now she knew that he was right. Anyone that was near her so much had to know some healing spells. Trouble and pain were something to expect around her, as well as knowing there would be energy and excitement.

"Ya know, I have a feeling that I should learn all these spells as well. Just in case you aren't around," she told him. Though, she wished that wouldn't happen.

Ali figured he was also getting away from the other topic. She wanted to hear his thoughts about it, but he was proving to be difficult when it came to this segment of their talking. "Have you ever heard the song 'The First Cut Is The Deepest' by Sheryl Crow?" she asked him.

Joshua frown, trying to concentrate on her injury. He wasn`t that good with those spells yet. Pointing his wand at it he murmured a spell. Of course, he did the wrong movement. Soon her hand was bright yellow. "Uhm... yeah, sorry about that..." he murmured, undoing the spell and glaring at her hand again. He knew he could get it right if he could just get Conner and the idea of him and Alison out of his head. Once again he murmured the spell and watched how blue sparks danced around the injury.

Figuring that this time the spell worked he stood up, stretching his hand out for her to take, so that he could pull her up. "I think you should learn how not to hurt yourself. Or attract trouble. That would make it easier." he spoke, and even if his voice was a bit cold, he smiled a little to her.

At her question he rose his eyebrows. "No, but it sounds like some masochistic song, I have to say." He wasn`t actually listening to music. Especially not that kind of music that young people listened to.

She couldn't help laughing when her hand turned yellow. That was a first to be multi-colored with an exception to bruises. "It's all good," she commented before taking his hand. Her hand didn't hurt anymore. However, she might go in and get it checked just incase when she goes in next time.

"But that would make life all... boring. Plus, I think that you can't really stop someone from getting hurt," she told him. Ali knew that something would happen like next week to her. It would be just fun to see what happened. If she could stop it, then that would be okay with her.

She laughed again at his commenting of the song. It was a nice song that wasn't masochistic. "It's not that kind of song. Its about how the first person the singer loved had carved an imprint into their heart, basically almost taking it. Then they found someone else that they loved and she said she would give love another try."[/color]

Joshua shrugged. "I could try if you let me. But I think you like getting hurt. It seems exciting to you." he said, his voice serious, although he was joking. There was no way that he`d believe that. Neither could he protect her from getting hurt. Damn, he was the reason she got hurt this time.

When she explained the song, he shook his head. "That`s a horrible horrible song." he exhaled, looking straight at her. Had they been so miserable just a moment ago? It didn`t look like it. He felt completely right. He felt great, standing there with her, still holding her hand, not even going to let it go.

"How could you even think like that? 'Give love another try'?" he kept shaking his head. "It`s not for you to decide. I know that now." he smiled softly.

She chuckled some at his words. Not that she hated them, just she wished he would try. "I may just let you then," she grinned. Preferrably Alison would love it if he tried because that meant Joshua would be near her more often.

"I think its cute," sticking her tongue out at her as she said it. Ali twirled slowly, happy that he hadn't tried to push away again. "I don't know, it just classifies love. After you give someone your heart and they break it. Sometimes you don't want to love again, but then you find someone else that you care for."

Joshua watched her in silence, a thoughtful expression on his face. Those words were true. When he was with Stephanie he never thought he could love anyone else. After he woke up and she was left... he didn`t think he could love. And now this with Alison... he wasn`t sure what it was. He couldn`t say that it was love, but it was stronger than just liking someone. Confusing.

"I don`t... I still don`t think that it`s like that." he exhaled, looking closely at her. "I mean, you always want to love again. What is there without love?" he asked and shrugged. Damn, he wasn`t sure if it was love. But he loved the feeling.

She bit at her lip in thought. WIthout love, she had been a monster almost. Maybe that was what the others were like. The reason Fenrir was the most terrifying of the wolves. Did he have any compassion? She didn't know. "There's monsters?" she questioned back.

"I mean look at those stupid steroetypes of my kind and the vamps. People made us out to be hateful, disgusting monsters with no compassion," she said in a somewhat harsh voice. The topic was the only reason she had been getting worked up.

Joshua noticed the harsh tone in her voice. He smiled lightly at her, brought his hand up and brushed his thumb against her cheek. it might not be appropriate but he didn`t care, because he simply wanted to touch her too much.

"That is because people are scared of what they can`t understand." he explained to her, trying to ease the harshness that woke up in her. 'If people knew you and would think that all werewolves were like that, they would picture you as a Veela." he smiled.

She lent into his hand, not being able to help it. Again, she felt like a wolfie, but this time it was the nicer side. The more puppy like side. "Stupid people," she muttered.

Then she stuck her tongue out at him. Somewhat insulted about the veela part, but happy he didn't say vampire. "Veelas are so obnoxious though. All stuck up and such. Can I just be compared to one of those cute puppies in the window of a pet store?" she asked him.

Joshua didn`t notice how he stepped closer to her. But he did and his hand cupped her face. "Very very stupid people..." he agreed. Humanity was stupid. All the time. It was what kept the world spinning.

He then laughed silently and shook his head. "Puppies are cute all the time. Now you... you can be pretty fierce at times." he smiled. "Not that I have anything against it, but let`s face it... you are beautiful and you stand your ground. Remind me too much of a Veela. I just don`t get it how come someone like you would choose me."

Yet again, she leaned into his hand. Basically rubbing her face against it like a cat. She still couldn't help it. Alison could almost see herself purring, but that hopefully wouldn't happen. However, she did let her tongue stick out at him again.

"That's because I'm different then a puppy," she retorted with a smile. Puppies were always puppies. She was a dog for one night when the moon was full. Very different if you asked her. "Because you are sweet like a beagle puppy? or because you are like a german sheperd?"

All the talking of puppies actually jogged her memory. This caused her to start bouncing slightly with a big grin beaming off her face. "Speaking of puppies, do you remember the promise?" she asked.

Joshua laughed. "I don`t know names of puppies. I only know how they look." he confessed. In wizard world cats or owls were much more popular. Even toads. Now obviously wizards saw something wrong with dogs. Maybe they reminded them too much of the Grim. Heaven knows.

He then nodded. "Of course I do. And I haven`t forgotten that. I just think that we should wait until this all calms down. I mean, we don`t want to get a puppy in such bad environment." he pointed out.

And he knew very well that he should have kept away, but he couldn`t. Soon he found himself leaning in closer to her, bringing her face to his. The next second his lips touched hers. It felt too good not to do. How could he have forgotten that?

"Well then we are just going to have to educate you in puppies then," she suggested with a smirk. However, they would probably only learn about the ones she liked the most. Which was actually a lot of the types of puppies.

She pouted for a second at his answer, but then realized he was right. So she couldn't help smile. "Fine, we'll wait," she agreed. His actions shocked her though. Ali had been positive he would have tried to not get near her for awhile. But she didn't try to pull away.

Joshua only murmured something in answer as he was far too concentrated with having her close. That was exactly what he meant, because it was nothing like that with Stephanie. With Steph it was good, well-known and nice, but with Alison it was exciting and simply amazing. He knew it felt better.

He pulled back, not deepening the kiss. This was bad enough. Although he didn`t pull far back and his nose ended up stabbed into her cheek. "And I should learn to keep my hands off you..." he murmured silently, his eyes closed.

Alison placed her hands on his arm, maybe to just keep him there or to just be closer to him. Either way she was touching him. She needed to stay near him now. It was just to tempting though. Why did she have to be more animal than most people? It made all heractions closer to instincts.

"Eh, you can skip that class. I'm pretty sure the teacher wouldn't mind," she insisted. She was getting to into being part wolfie today. Actually she shouldn't have been like that. It couldn't be that close could it? "What day is it?" she asked him.

Joshua grinned and his hands slid down her back, to rest on her waist. As much as he hated to admit it, he liked the fact that she was younger. Her body was great, as well as her skin and hair. She was beautiful, like any girl her age. And even if it did made him sound like a pervert, he didn`t care. It was completely true. No wonder men his age preferred women in their twenties.

But her question made him snap out of his thoughts and blink at her. "Erm... what?" he mumbled, before realizing what did she ask of him. "I think it`s... eight? I guess. Why?" he wondered, honestly confused.

Alison leaned into his touch a bit too much. So much that she fell slightly into him. She gave a small oops, but it wasn't like a big problem. She was sure that Joshua wouldn't care, he might even hold her closer now that she thought about it.

"I mean the day like tuesday or monday? And you know how my mood seems to be changing alot. Well, I think its getting close to a full moon," she explained. How could she have forgot the day of the week?

As Alison fell, Joshua only laughed a bit and pulled her closer. He softly put his chin on her shoulder, putting his face in her hair again. It didn`t matter that they were standing outside like a couple of lunatics. It felt too good to care about such little details.

"Your mood always keep changing, Alison. I almost got used to it." he confessed silently. She`d be angry one moment, then laughing the other. Well, usually with him it was the other way around. But he tried not to think about it. "And it`s monday. When`s the full moon?" he wondered. Damn, he really should get himself a moon calendar, just to keep an eye on it.

She pouted into his neck as he laughed at her. It was funny, but she hated that she had fell again. Even if it was into Joshua. "See, its a reason why we are good together," is what she wanted to say. However, Ali said," I'll try to keep my moods more constant then."

Her eyes widened at his words. Monday, not a good thing. "Full moon equals monday," she whispered into his ear. She wasn't afraid for herself. It was more that she was afraid to leave his arms and what if he was near her?
