"Plus being a monster is such hard work and time consuming. We have to go about scaring everyone for fun. It's really tiring too." she joked as she also took another scoop of ice cream. It made her lips colder but felt warm in her tummy.

Alison nodded along. Sometimes you forget the date though. "Easier said then done. It's hard to remember when the moon is full and bright. Luckily, wherever I am there is a forest nearby." she told her. She moved the ice cream to the step below them and scooted closer to Allie. Her arm wrapped around the older girl to hug her. "We all have things we regret and hate. It's just life and friends help you get through it."

"Oh I know that for sure, I am glad I didn't decide on leaving my family or my friend, I don't know if you'd agree if you knew what really happened, but that's in the past now" she said with a smile and a nod.

Allie then started to laugh, clutching her stomach and trying to keep herself from falling back and hitting her head. "Isn't that entertaining, scaring people...is that why there are stories that parents tell their children about werewolves who will come after them if they don't behave?" she asked amusingly, clearly joking some what (not sure if those are real or not)

"Well, you can only wait and see. Things are like puzzle pieces for reasons. One move at a time, wait that's more like chess. Oh well, its life." she grinned. It was fun to be all philosophical. She stared at Allie though, moving her arm behind the girl just in case she did fall backwards. That wouldn't be funny.

Though, she did have to laugh at the statement. "It's a hard job trying to live up to stories. Plus going rawr on all those people's butts is fun. Like, parents call us too just to help. I get a kick out of it." she teased.

"Luckly my parents never did that to me as a child," she said chuckling a bit, she couldn't hear so being scared wasn't a problem for her at that time. She stopped laughing and sat up straight, letting her hand run through her reddish brown hair. "Do you get paid, it's a shame you didn't, all that hard work to help parents out for nothing."

Alison moved her arm back to her lap. "My parents didn't have to for me. Seven was when I was changed, never met the wolfie that changed me though. Might punch them if I do, maybe hug them." she shrugged.

"Nope, no cash at all. Just entertainment." she cheerfully said. Alison placed the somewhat melted almost empty ice cream in front of her. It wasn't much left anyways, so she pulled her wand out and muttered incendio. Then watched it burn.

"Well you can decide on what you'll want to do..." she spoke and her mouth just opened as her eyes widden, watching what Ali had done to the ice cream. Ice cream. That could have been finished rather then leave it to melt and burn it.

"Alison! How could you, we could have finished the ice cream" she whined and shook her head with a smile and watched it burn. "Doesn't matter anyway, I am full already." She continued staring at it, greatful to be able to hear, especially if there was a fire...she could have died durning it.

Alison grinned as she watched Allie's reaction from the corner of her eye. It was interesting, yet the same as usual. "There was only an inch left and it was all melted."

She raised her eyebrow at the indecisiveness of the other girl. "You have one mixed up mind. Burn or eat? Oh well, guess it's burning." she whistled as the flames whipped around the container. This was calming, better than most nights.

"Well I can't eat it since you already started burning it now can I?" she asked with her eyebrow raised, though there was amusment on her expression. Allie was rather really enjoying Ali's company. She hoped they could be come friends or something.

Allie looked down at her watched and glanced to the door behind them. She came here to find more Order memembers see what else there needs to be doing but she actually forgot about that. Not that it mattered, Ali was part of the Order herself. "Has there been anything else that requires the Order's help?" she asksed her.

Alison smirked at her achievement. "Nope, but hey it slows you down. Plus, this was a good way to empty out the freezer in there. And a lazy way to take it to a trash can." she explained. She was in a good mood, which was always a fun time to be in.

"Not that I know of exactly. Everyone is back safely from the weird event. Death eaters are being silent, but not doing anything dangerous. So nope." she shrugged as the fire died down. With a flick of her wand, water squirted out, getting rid of the left over flames that were about to take out the grass.

Joshua wrapped his coat harder around himself, feeling the chill biting his cheeks. Maybe he should just go home and come back another day? Not as if he hadn`t had time. He was just counting so much on that day.

With a sigh he walked to the porch and looked around as memories started to pop into his head. Good times those were. A small smile appeared on his lips, but the next moment he heard voices. Turning to the side he noticed two girls talking. Okay. That might just work.

"Excuse me?" he spoke, walking towards them. "Maybe you know if this is still the Auror HQ?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at them.

Alison was just putting her wand back in her pocket when a voice came from behind them. She turned her head slightly before turning her whole body and using the post behind her for support. "Hello. It used to be the Auror HQ but they moved the department to the ministry to make it seem more official." she responded.

Alison stood up and walked over to him. "This is now the Order HQ, but the aurors still use it for living conditions and such." she continued. "Oh I'm Alison, but you'll probably just use the shorter version Ali like most others."

The ministry? When did that happen? Joshua blinked and nodded. "Thanks." Well at least he will now know where to go. With a slight frown on his face he took his backpack off and stuffed the papers in it. Then looked back at the girl.

And she was obviously still talking. As she introduced herself he laughed a bit - he had been tensed up and nervous about going to the Auror HQ and now he could use a little bit of relief. "Hello then, Alison." he spoke, watching her. "And I`m Joshua, but probably just like my mother you will forget that and start calling me Josh." he spoke and stretched his right hand to her.

Allie had been watching the fire and would have responsed to what Ali said but someone else approached them and she couldn't exactly say anything as she was still like a child learning in school about not knowing where the Aurors are and so forth.

"I'm Allie to, just plain Allie," she said introducing herself despite that he wasn't even talking to her in the first place. Not that it was a problem for her at all, she knew she knows nothing about England but she's learning to find out a little bit at a time.

Alison shook his hand. "Well its a pleasure to meet you Joshua." she smiled at him before hopping up onto the railing. He seemed nice. She shifted her focus between Allie and Josh every often. To her, being social was entertaining.

"So Joshua, are you new to the Aurors or what? If you don't mind me asking, that is." Ali didn't want to barge in on his life but new people were interesting. Though, they could get scared from being frank with them. "You don't have to answer though if its embarrassing."

Joshua glanced at the other girl who spoke and nodded his head. "Hello, plain Allie." he answered, smiling to himself. Rather odd... who would sit in the middle of winter outside?

Yet, he pushed that thought aside and laughed at Ali`s question. "No, nothing embarrassing." he assured her. "I`ve used to be an Auror, but two years ago I had to quit. Nevertheless, I want to get back to my job." he explained.

Alison tilted her head at his laughing before joining along. She was glad that people still had a sense of humor with the war going on. "Oh well, Lynx will probably be happy to have someone who will work delicately on the force. They need a lot of help from my point of view. Kinda glad they don't get mad at the order."

She shook her head down, frowning, before smiling back at the others. Part of her hated being a wolfie for that reason. She couldn't be an Auror. "I'm sure that you'll be back there in no time." she tacked on at the end.

Allie decided to stand up now as she had enough of sitting down and freezing her bum from the cold surface. She dusted the back of her pants a bit. The whole time she listened to what Ali asked and Joshua's response.

"Why all of a sudden now you want to come back, not a year ago for instance? I hope that's not embarrassing ask" she asked quite curious, looking at him as she adjusted her coat tighter around her to stop the cold from entering.

Joshua nodded at Ali`s response and brushed his hand through the back of his hair. "Yeah, well, I do hope they will take me back to the job." he confessed. He wasn`t sure. With his condition, and all... "By the way... who is Lynx?" he asked, not knowing the name at all.

As Allie spoke he cleared his throat. Well, that wasn`t the best question to ask, but he didn`t know why he shouldn`t answer it. So he forced a small smile. "Two years ago, while still an Auror I`ve got a pretty bad injury during a fight with Death Eaters. Came out of St. Mungos just recently." he explained.

She raised an eyebrow at him when he asked who Lynx was. If he had been an Auror, wouldn't he know Lynx. "Lynx is Ms. Silverhawk... well now Mrs. Rubin. She's the Head Auror. Guess there was another person when you were there." she told him.

Alison looked from Allie to Joshua, sensing this was awkward. She smiled at Joshua to make it seem better. "Well, as long as you're better and back, that's all that matters. Everyone gets hurt sometimes and you just have to get back on the saddle and ride again. At least, I think that was the saying."

"That isn't usually true Alison, get hurt then get back on the saddle and ride, most people can't do that" she said turning her eyes to Ali. Though smiling afterwards as she looked at them both, then she rested her eyes on Josh. "Advice from the stranger, try not to get hurt this time to end up in St Mungos again."
