She shook her head. "Well I don't know about that," she said. "If you didn't have your name you could become an entirely different person - go places, meet new people, just start over. And you wouldn't be under anyone else's power."

She shrugged. "I've always found men to be utterly useless, cruel, and unreliable."

"I totally agree," Morrgan said with Trix's last statement. "I mean my sort of boyfriend will no doubt go back to that stupid Evans girl in no time. Ugh. I can't even think about it. They honestly are so inconsiderate."

"Sort of boyfriend?" Trix asked curiously. "Honey, boyfriends don't get you anywhere in life unless you're using them to get what you want - make him stay with you, don't let him go, and then break his heart before he can hurt yours."

She nodded. "I've been through a lot with men - enough that they don't deserve my time anymore."

Morrgan sighed. "Radu seemed nice enough. He's super cute too. But yeah...all guys are the same aren't they?"

Absently she twirled a strand of her hair around her finger.

"All of my boyfriends have seemed nice enough - one of them thought I was pregnant, once, and he left as soon as he could with another woman."

Alright, so she couldn't tell the whole truth if she wanted to keep up the facade that she was 21 years old. "I wasn't, but still - guys who seem nice? Are jerks also. None of them deserve you."

Morrgan was surprised by the bit of information. It made her think about how she told Radu she was a Raziel and he so far had stayed. It made her think more on it that it could be a lie. Was Radu going to up and leave? Well she'd surely save herself the hurt and leave before he could. Or at least she kind of figured she should.

"That's horrible," Morrgan settled with and sighed. "That goes to show we are totally better off on our own."

Beatrix nodded. "Boyfriends, friends - brothers, even. Men in general are a far worse race than people like to admit. They're scum, they're awful. They're all out to hurt us - to hurt you."

She sighed. "You seem like a pretty and nice girl, Morrgan. And smart. I'd hate to see you hurt by a guy - by this Radu boy. He shouldn't be able to hurt you, you're right - you're better off without him. Stronger, more capable. You're free."

Morrgan listened to the words and a slow smile came across her lips. In Trix's words was a sense of power where Morrgan could do what she wanted. Not what everyone else did.

"Free," she repeated the word and twirled her hair around her finger again. "I like that. You definatly got the right way of thinking. I see that."

She smiled delicately. "See my point?" she said. "I can see your eyes lighting up - you look happier. I know I'm right - you'll be free. Freedom is what everyone wants and deserves."

If getting Morrgan to agree with her meant playing the conversation to what the girl wanted? That was fine - so long as Morrgan got the message that guys in general sucked. "Avoid them, hon, it'll save you a ton of heartache."

Morrgan nodded.

"I've totally done a lot for my family and what do I get? Nothing of course because apparently the boys in the family are more important. As if," she said. "You're right. I don't need 'em."

It wasn't so hard to agree with it all. She had witnessed too many mishaps in her family and why? Well it was more of who caused it.

"They don't appreciate you enough," she said firmly. "You could do so much with your life! Have you ever thought about becoming an Auror? You could do a ton, after you get out of school and everything. Or maybe you could be a healer, and help people. Seriously, Morrgan, there are so many things you could do!"

She wanted to stress the fcat that these were easier done without people hanging over her shoulder. "Why should you be stuck doing what your all-powerful brother wants you to do?"

Morrgan made a face at the mention of Auror. That wasn't the right route. Reporter is what always jumped out at her.

"I want to be reporter eventaully," she told Trix, deciding then to voice her thoughts. "I mean it completely involves spying on people sometimes, and all that awesome investigating work."

Trix did her best not to flinch. Edmond had left her for a reporter, and not just any reporter, but Rita Skeeter herself, a bit before her career really took off.

"Well then do that," she said, with a lopsided and candid grin. "If it's what you want to do then you should do it - I can probably find a friend or two to hook you up with in the field, get you some jobs. I know people, I can pull strings."

Well, maybe she didn't know as much as she said she did, but she had every intention and every power to get those connections if she wanted them. It wouldn't be that hard.

"Oh my merlin, really?" The excitement in Morrgan's voice wasn't missed at all.

Something good could happen? That itself was amazing to her. If she had always played the part as reporter but it was more like a kids play-pretend then anything. But the chance to actually be one?

"You are absolutely amazing," Morrgan finished with.

Trix grinned and nodded. "I definitely could do that for you - I might need a bit of time, but in the mean time maybe we could work on you finishing school. I mean, I know it's not exactly fair that you've been pulled out. What year would you have been in?"

Ideas were already drifting into her head, as to how she could work her way into Morrgan's life, and help her get her education and her job. "I might have to talk to this brother of yours, see what we can work out between us."

"5th year," Morrgan answered. "A amazing year at the start and then my idiot brother.."

She wondered if she could tell. Well Trix was surely doing a lot for her, why not?

"My brother is Malius Raziel," she explained. "So I don't know how well talking to him would work."

Trix raised her eyebrows. How best to know Malius existed without seeming weird? "I may be very new, but I do know that name," she said carefully.

"And I must say, I'm so glad you don't agree with his views - and I'm glad you know not to on your own. Or at least, that's the impression I've been getting, that you don't want to work for him your whole life. And besides, I doubt he would want you to have your freedom." She lingered over the last word a minute before continuing.

"I might have to talk to him anyway, see what I can manage to do - because I do think I'd be able to do something, I'll just have to be careful - and if it's all right with you I might. Of course I'd try not to get you in any trouble..."

"You could talk to him if you'd like. He's usually always at home. I swear he has no life at all," Morrgan said and rolled her eyes. "I don't completely agree with him at all. Of course....some views I do. Only some."

"Well I'm not about to hold that against you," Trix said with a smile. "I don't even know what views those might be - and I won't ask. You've grown up with him, of course that'd happen. But I do think you'd be better off without him..."

She shook her head and sighed. "You can do so much, you will do so much. Just talking to you, you seem so bright - you need to get out of his control. And I fully intend to help you out with that."

She was hoping the girl would trust her now. Or, eventually. The more she could do to help Morrgan, the better off things would be for Trix. She wanted people to like her - and she was keeping Malius from getting his work done, so she was even doing favors for Tristan and the Auror department.

"Psh I'll prove him wrong and do way better then he thinks I can do," Morrgan told her with a smile.

Finally someone who helped. Well it wasn't as if she tried to find someone, she was just glad someone had found her more or less.
