Yes, that's right. I actually managed to sprite a full-scratch fakemon, and finish it. It's not as mouse-like as originally planned, because it'll evolve into non-rodents, too. And it's just a generic berry for the fruit, nothing special- yes, it's the basic stage of my fruit-rodent/rabbit/etc. line. Posted Image Ta-da. Yes, I know the feet are messed up, but I'm unsure how to fix them. Offer crit here. Edited by EternalEbony, Dec 8 2008, 07:11 PM.

that's write? Only thing that particularly strikes me is that its difficult to see the mouth, the 1 or two sticking out little pixels on (our) right of the tail and that the stalk doesn't look joined. Very good otherwise. :) |

Awww. It's kinda cute. Personally, I think there's very little contrast between the shades. I can only see a highlight and a middle shade, and the outlines are all black. (I dunno why I pointed that out... but black outlines bother me.) As for the feet... I'm not sure you noticed it, but the first foot has the same outline as the second one, but not the same pattern. This makes the feet look uneven. I think that for now, you should just copy the pattern on the foot to (the viewer's) right. It won't look even, but oh well. Altogether, it's a decent sprite. It's adorable, though. |

Yeah, I kinda stuck the mouth in last minute. I'll fix that tomorrow- it's too late tonight. Same goes for the tail. Also, the outlines aren't all black. O.o The darkest outline shade is rather dark, but not black. And thanks for pointing out what was wrong with the feet- I knew something was messed up with them, I just couldn't quite tell what. |
