Every time I've had stitches, I've had some kind of local anesthetic to numb the area, first. So I felt nothing. And I've had stitches quite a few times, several recently- I seem to fall a lot and hit my chin. But they sound like they'd be painful, ack.
Same. Although I had to have the stitches near my left temple.

I'm never injured, really. Only major injury was when I "broke" my thumb (it was a hairline fracture).

I'm sick quite a bit, though.

nope
I've never been injured badly.
I've sprained my ankle once or twice, but that's it.

So I wouldn't know anything about stitches. Plus, the last time I was in a hospital was a few weeks after I was born. xD

Boredom Strikes Again.
The anesthtic needle was put into the inch deep cut in my leg, scraped the bone, and then injected the anesthtic, which felt like acid. Hurt. A lot.

Holy crap, that sucks! I hope both of you heal quickly and well =)

But I'm on the 'never injured' boat... I broke a foot earlier this year, but it was just a tiny thing and I was playing softball again four weeks later. Never got any stitches.
