We all knew that Oak would go insane
I told Seika this last night in MSN (but in less detail).

At about 7:00 friday night, my mom and I went to drop my brother off at a friends house for the night. At 7:15 we left my brother's friend's house to go out for dinner and to get some tops (I only had like 4 that fit me) and to trade in some games. We had finished shopping at 8:45-ish and then went to gamestop (I got Spectrobes 2 and Mario Kart Wii :D). Then we had dinner at a semi-nice place.

This is where things go bad. D:

On our way home from the restaurant (by this time it was like 11:03), my mom hit a deer. She couldn't have seen it because it was in the middle of the road (a very busy road) right on a curve. Because of the curve, we didn't see it until it was too late. We hit it dead on. The deer was huge, but thankfully it was a doe and didn't have horns. It rolled on to the hood of our car and broke the windshield, and a few shards of glass hit the two of us giving us some really nasty, painful, and deep cuts. My mom pulled the car over and some nice people stopped to help my mom and I. A couple who stopped to help my mom and I brought us to the nearest hospital. We were stitched up, and brought back to our house at about 4:00.
One of the worse cuts is on my forehead, and like most of the other cuts, will scar. This one is worse because its on my face, and will be kind of disfiguring, but luckily I normally keep my hair long so it should hide most of it. the doctors said they do not know how badly it will scar, so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Holy crap, Jon. D8!
I hope you guys heal soon. At least it wasn't too bad, eh?

Also, my mom's hit deer like that several times before. She got some kind of deer whistle (like a mechanical dog whistle for deer) to put on her car and it hasn't happened since, so I'd have your mom look into that.

Thanks, and yes, it could have been worse.

But this has been the only time my mom (or dad) has ever hit a deer, so I don't think it would be necessary, but thanks for the concern.

Ugh, disfiguring scars? That's awful- at least you just needed a few stitches, thougj, and nothing worse.

I've never been in a car when a deer was hit, or any animal actually, not even a squirrel. O.o And for a random suburb, there are quite a few deer around here.

Wow man, I have no idea how that is. There are no deer here o_o. I get the idea though, I've seen the car hitting the moose episode of Mythbusters, so I'm imagining that on a smaller scale.

Kinda sucks about the scarring. Scars I've gotten used to, I got hundreds of them. I had one on my face, but it grew back to normal. Hope it does the same for you.

Well, that sucks. At least all you need is stitches...

Don't worry too much. I've had stitches before. They don't hurt. At all.

Wow, that really sucks for you. I personally don't have any scars, but I'm sure nobody will notice. And as others said, it could have been worse.

HOLY CRAP

Each of you buy a bottle of those vitamin E pills and 3 times a day, pop one open and rub the gel on your scar.

Last time I had stitches the stitches hurt easily as much as the needle did. I had them in them in the top of my head though, lol. A painful experience.

Every time I've had stitches, I've had some kind of local anesthetic to numb the area, first. So I felt nothing. And I've had stitches quite a few times, several recently- I seem to fall a lot and hit my chin. But they sound like they'd be painful, ack.
