You are right in that you are becoming a very good spriter indeed. =D These sprites in particular are impressive-- great job! ^^ I'll try to nitpick a little, but there aren't any major issues really. On Knizard. It's a splendid scratch, and I remember the lineart from forever ago, and the difficulties you were having with trying to scratch the spines on its back. You did well in that regard, although personally I would make them a little smaller and/or higher up on the body, because otherwise it looks very skinny. Besides that? Um, I always think it's kinda cheap when spriters draw tails sweeping around to obscure parts of the body (usually the feet), although with this Pokémon's majestic tail I don't think you had much of a choice. xD; Lastly, the upper halves of the legs are... meaty, while the bottom part is skinny as heck. Again, I know it's both a design thing and a natural thing for birds, but it still strikes me as kind of awkward. Mewterade is beautiful. *w* Not much to crit here-- the only thing that really stands out is the highlight on the tail is much too light. Otherwise, this has excellent flow, especially on the roses, and bonus points for changing the eyes on the mask so they were Mewtwo's. Riolu jr. is fairly normal, although it's a bit too much Mime jr. I think, even with a Riolu base. Keep the ears or the tail, because otherwise it nears looking like a disguise rather than a mix. Are you doing a Mr. Lucario? |

:D -cheers- thanks IT. hm, i see what you mean about the legs. i think i can fix that... (will update when fixed) and yeah. XD i made hte tail sweep drop a bit below where the ground should have been to make it clear that it was there because that was the best pose for it and i wasn't afraid of drawing feet- of course, one of them is lifted in front, and one in back, so... XD I think it helps to let things sit for a while if i'm having big issues. :P always seem to do better the second time i pick things up. -looks at it again- Yeah, i see what you mean about the highlight. The hair would probably case a shadow on the tail there. i'll fix that as well. :) hm. i'll put the tail back on, as i'm not sure how the ears would work with that ridiculous hat! And i think i will be. :) Edit: o.o I just realized that riolu has... two sets of ears. little pointy ones and big black ones. XDD Edited by rosalieart, Dec 6 2008, 09:57 PM.

Those black things are ears? 0: The only thing that really strikes me as too weird are the thick top parts of Knizards legs, as IT said. :) |
