General Information
With the renewal of PMF on a different ZB, I will be hiring new staff. Here's how it will work.
Anyone interested in integrating the staff of the new PMF can submit their applications in this topic until next Friday, Nov. 28 (see below).
I will then revise the applications myself, to make sure all criteria are met, and selecting the applicants that I would like to take into my staff. For each one spot available (see below), I will select two applicants. So, if a position has two spots, I will select four applicants.
I will then put up polls for each position, one at a time, and each lasting only two days. If the poll closes tied, I will take the pick myself.

The Positions
Administrator
  • 1 spot
  • Full Admin responsibilities, including topics, posts, members, forum structure, etc
  • Requires: 1+ years at PMF, 1000+ posts.

Member Manager
  • 1 spot
  • Admin responsible only for ranks and member-related items, like groups, name changes, etc.
  • Limited ACP access.
  • Requires: 1+ years at PMF, 1000+ posts.

Global Moderator
  • 2 spots
  • Responsible for topics, posts and members in all sections of the forum.
  • Requires: 1+ years at PMF, 1000+ posts.

PMR Moderator
  • 1 spot
  • Responsible for all PMR issues.
  • Requires: 6+ months at PMF, 750+ posts.

PMR Assistant
  • 4 spots
  • Responsible for all PMR issues
  • Under command of PMRMod
  • Requires: 4+ months at PMF, 500+ posts.

WoS Moderator
  • 1 spot
  • Responsible for all WoS issues
  • Requires: 6+ months at PMF, 750+ posts.

WoS Assistant
  • 4 spots
  • Responsible for all WoS issues
  • Under command of WoSMod
  • Requires: 4+ months at PMF, 500+ posts.

Feature Moderator
  • 1 spot
  • Responsible for the Wow! Gallery
  • Requires 6+ months at PMF, 750+ posts.

Battle Moderator
  • 1 spot
  • Responsible for Monthly Contests and The Arena
  • Requires 6+ months at PMF, 750+ posts.

*Post count prior to the data loss can be used.
Other positions may make themselves necessary as we go along and will be treated in time.

The Application
To apply, you must meet the requirements listed above, and submit a paragraph (or more, if necessary) outlining your qualities as they apply to the position(s) you covet, any past experience in similar positions, and any other facts that you find should be acknowledged in judging your value for the position.
You may apply to up to four positions. In your application, make sure to list them in order of preference.
If you are referring to your post count from before the data loss as part of your requirements, please post roughly at how much your count was.

Post your applications in this topic. You may also post questions here, if you wish.

Considering I only fit into the assistant categories because of my posts per day (bad choice of a requirement there, considering there's going to be very low ppd amounts), I'll apply for PMR Assistant.
(You might want to clarify the posts per day thing.)

I'm a generally creative person when it comes to writing, and updating RP posts/coming up with ideas is no different. I'd like to help in any way with the revival of PMF, and I think that helping with PMR would be a good use of my abilities.

EDIT: If the ppd requirement changes again, I'd also like to apply for Global Mod because I'd like to help. Also, I have a tendency to randomly come to PMF (in it's current state and former) several times an hour just to see if anyone's posted...
So (if the ppd changes), the ordering would be 1) Global Mod, 2) PMR Assistant.

I decided to check the Posts Per Day of some of our members. I reduced the Posts Per Day requirements for all positions. May reduce further if too many members are still being prevented from applying by that requirement.

I'd like to apply for PMR Moderator.
First of all, I was the original creator of PMR, I have much experience with different types of RPs, I have many plans for PMR.
I know you guys don't trust me even though I didn't do anything objectionable since my unbanning, but being head of PMR and nothing else wouldn't give me much chance to destroy PMF if I got upset, while still being a member of the administration.
And we all know I'm more active than EE. >D>

The one and only
PMR Assistant

First off I really like the idea of PMR but have never felt like it was easy to play. It always seemed very complex and difficult thus I never joined up, but now it seems like it will be changing to way that fits my style a lot more. I have many past experiences with being an important person in RPGs. I run my own RPG, I've been a Global mod/RPG Mod at another forum for over a year, and have been a Global Mod at a quickly growing RPG forum.
I also have lots of experience helping develop an RPG ever since one forum went down about a year ago and we had to rebuild everything from scratch.

Battle Mod

I have many ideas for sprites that I can't sprite myself which could easily be used for Monthly Contest themes and such. Not really sure what else I should put down here because that's all I can really do/know. I can't sprite if that was what you were looking for.

PMR Assistant, please. I know I've been inactive recently, and I'm really sorry about that, so it's highly likely I won't get the spot, but at least consider it. I've been mod or admin or gmod or RP helper, etc. at at least 25 RPing sites in the past- I can't remember them all anymore. I generally think of myself as an okay RPer, when I put effort into it, and I'm capable of spewing out creative ideas when I feel like it. Perhaps I could be considered for PMR Mod, but considering my recent activity, I think my posts-per-day is too low.

If the post per day was disregarded, I'll apply for Global Mod if you need more applications.

Technically only 3 people can apply for Admin, Member Manager and Global Mod.
-Shed (who can't anyway)
-Seika (who doesn't want them)
-Fre (who's gone)

Next highest poster is Ethan, who has 2.2 ppd, which is too low.
PPD is basically the same thing as time+posts anyway. Eliminating that requirement would allow more applications that would still fit the requirements.

I wouldn't mind a Gmod spot if need be, but I'd honestly rather have PMR Mod.

Yeah, I've only got 2.2 as well. Do any other members have higher than that?

You're right. I've removed the PPD requirement.

If you are now eligible for a higher spot and would like to apply for it, please post your application again with any new relevant information and your order of preference. If you edit your previous post, I may miss the update and not consider you for the spot.

I'd like to apply for Global Mod, PMR Moderator, PMR Assistant, and Battle Moderator, in that order of preference.

I've had some mod experiences before; to be specific I was a PMR mod/PMR head once here, and I was also a Super Mod before I left. I want to help with PMF's revival in any way that I think I could handle. I'm generally good at organizing things, and I'm not very influenced when making important decisions. I keep my temper from causing damage from anything (...do I even get mad anymore? O_o), and I'm a loyal person. I tend to visit PMF several times within each hour I'm online, even. I'm creative when it comes to RP ideas, and I'm a developing writer so I enjoy typing RP updates. However, I have no idea whether or not I could actually handle being a mod; it would depend on how active PMF would get and what's going on in my life (internet or irl) at the time.
I could name more cons about myself but I think I'll refrain from doing so. :/

RUN HE IS BESIDE YOU
I am applying for any of the following: Global Moderator, WoS Moderator, Member Manager, and WoS Assistant.

Reason: Though the PMF community may have mixed opinions about me, I have nearly always been a supporter of PMF. I am a literate person who really feels like he has made no lasting impact here. True, I have been banned and warned a few times, but let's put that behind us. I am one of very few supporters of WoS, and would like to be a Moderator, or in worst case scenario, an Assistant. Some may also see me as a joker, no real seriousness in me. Trust me, if you give me any kind of rank, that will definitely change. I am/shall be a very loyal person, and mostly kind. One downside may be that I'm a little harsh to those who blatantly disobey the rules. Now, onto past experiences. I have been an admin on a few small forums, mostly RPG's. However, I know I am capable of having power on a larger site and many forums I reside in today can prove it; I am well-liked in many places.

So, even though this is a very rambling paragraph, I hope you can make sense of it all. :)

Hi there. :3
I decided to come back even though, honestly, I don't like the look of ZetaBoards. plzmakeaskin

So, I'm still a WoS Assistant, correct? I guess it's alright if I keep that position, but I don't want to be the only one to make a whole bunch of topics like before. And then wait and wait for others to judge. orz

Alright, I'll apply for: Global Mod, Member manager, Admin (lawl)

Well, I've been around for quite awhile and I've been on the staff here a number of times. I joined back in 2005, so it has been about three and half years since I got here. Over the time I have spent here I've got to know who everyone is, seen the forum's ups and downs, and things like that. I can't even remember all the positions I've had on the staff, though I never did a bad job and have learned the skills required of a moderator because of this experience (tedious battle locking and moving ftw, lol). Like everyone else, I've been on the staff of other forums too (I'll admit none of them really stayed active, haha). I've run out of things to say, but I think that just about sums everything up.

Well, he's a platypus. They don't do much.
I'm posting these in the order of which I would like the most to which I would like the least:
- PMR Moderator
- Global Manager
- PMR Assistant
- Member Manager

To begin, I'd like to point out that other than you and Seika I (think I am) the active member that's been here the longest. This means I have been exposed to most PMF background and I am familiar with its history and such. I currently have over 2500 posts, and that's AFTER the data loss. I have held many staff postitions here in the past, as well as at other places, and have gotten one warn. Ever. On any forum. (Here, for spamming, a long time ago.) I am frequently active on the forum (I come on every day at least once) and I actually sprite (which is important for a spriting forum), whether the quality is good or not. xD
Primarily, I'd like to discuss the PMR mod position. I have not only been a mod/assistant on PMR in the past, but I have adminned and modded at several fairly active RPs (at the time), such as Tinto or Fanal. I have contributed some creative innovations to PMR (such as the current breeding system and the most recent starter system) and when Phear kinda abandoned it and eventually resigned, I remained and at least tried to start on things a little. Obviously, I'm applying for PMR assistant in case I don't make PMR mod, but I'd much rather be a mod.
Global moderator - it seems kinda general and like something I can handle. I feel that I am impartial when deciding what to do in the case of arguments, I don't think I would over/underwarn, and I would not abuse my powers. In addition, I think by just having some kind of mod position I can try to be helpful in the mod lounge with the shaping of PMF.

So yeah. Vote4PG.(:

PMR Mod
Global Mod
WoS Moderator
PMR Assist
Admin (lulz)

First of all, I've been here since... what, a year after PMF was started? I'm the creator of many PMF ideas, such as PMR, WoS, SE/AM, Bayacrux, the classic PMF Inc script story, and I've created more RPs than Fre can shake an axe at. I had owned and operated PMR until I handed it over to Kolase, and since then it hasn't been active, with the exception of a short burst of activity under Cinna.
As a mod, I might have made more arguments than I stopped, but I've done a hell of a lot of dirty work, such as moving, editing, etc of topics, stuff that other mods find 'boring'. As far as my emotions go I haven't done anything even remotely stupid since Act III (which wasn't 'really' me), and honestly, ever forum needs a douchebag mod/admin to balance stuff out. Ensellitis on PJ, Jake/Hark on CS, half of the staff on SPPF... etcetera.
I have the second most posts of anyone on PMF pre/post deletion, just behind Shed by around 3k posts, which isn't bad for root admin vs regular member. My 'posts per day' are currently around 5, which is impressive for the time I've been gone from PMF/the deletion.

Just up to four positions, Seika. I'll go by your order and not include you as applicant for Admin.
