Recently, I've felt that PMVF is detracting from PMF. Sure it may be pretty and a nice place (especially since everyone was able to forgive Emma and move on without ridicule), but I myself have become a gigantic HIPPOCRATE. Please take a look at an excerpt from my PMV FAQ, especially the bolded area:
See that? PMVF may be a nice, refreshing branch off from PMF, but I feel like I'm unknowingly backstabbing PMF by creating a brand new forum with the exact same topics as PMF. I created PMVF to be "the official home for PMV", but it's had its home here on PMF all along. I believe PMV deserves at least its own category on PMF, seeing as it's one of the major aspects that loads of members will be enjoying. |

Like I said to you that one time, I think you should keep the forum but only with the boards that don't repeat. We can move some stuff back to PMF once it's done, though, like having the download here so it's only for PMF members. |

Pull what PMR did, back in the old. Just have boards that only relate to PMV, not repeats of forums and whatnot. And it's amazing on how everyone forgave Seika so quickly and we became one happy family again. <3 So, just have PMV-related forums over dere and make the downloads topic here when it's all good and done. 8D |

If you move it back, it doesn't need more than it already had. There was like, 5-6 important topics? That doesn't need a whole category. Members would get the same amount of enjoyment whether it was bigger or not. It's just saving you the "PMV need all dat spaze?" feedback topic, followed by shrinking it back to what we had in the first place. I'd rather have it here anyway. It just saves time that way. |

I change my vote. Upon further considerations, PMV should be moved back to PMF as a forum of its own, if not a Projects sub. I mean, you really only have 13 topics (under the Pokémon Mutation Version category) that matter much... All other topics are either PMF repeats or are only applicable since PMVF is a separate forum. I really don't think 13 topics suffice for a separate category... |

Importance has nothing to do with how much board space it actually needs and will use though. General talk is only one forum, yet it's one of the most active and important parts of the entire board. If anything, a whole category will detract from the activity (and maybe in turn, interest) of the project. People will have to go to a seperate forum only to look at one or two topics within it, then have to come back out and repeat the process with that extra step (going back and selecting the forum they want next) and end up wasting time when they could've just clicked back and then go into the topic they want. It's not that it doesn't deserve the space because of it's importance, but because it doesn't need that much space. Anyway, I doubt there will ever be any more than 13 significant topics active at any one stage during the production of the game. |

Let's be honest. All people really want is 'discussion & speculation' and the screenshots thread. The people helping with sprites view the 'spriting center' topic. Then there's FAQ, Pokédex, the whole separate topic for who the main character is, and there's 7 topics to go? |
